A firm run by Keith Schiller, the loyal bodyguard who followed Donald Trump from the boardroom to the Oval Office and then abruptly departed in September, has been added to the payroll of the Republican National Committee, federal campaign filings show. Schiller's firm, KS Global Group LLC, has received several payments totaling $75,000 for "security services " beginning in October, just weeks after Schiller left his White House post as director of Oval Office operations.

Fox News personality and former New York prosecutor Jeanine Pirro has pleaded guilty to driving 95 mph in a 65 mph zone. Authorities previously said that a state trooper clocked Pirro's Cadillac going 119 mph on Route 17 in Nichols, New York, on Nov. 19. The Journal News says Pirro - who negotiated a plea deal with the Tioga County district attorney's office - has been fined $300 plus fees and has to take a defensive driving course.

A federal judge on Tuesday denied a request by AT&T Inc to compel the U.S. Justice Department to disclose any records of communications between the White House and government lawyers that detail President Donald Trump's views on the company's proposed $85 billion merger with Time Warner Inc. The Justice Department on Friday moved to prevent AT&T from arguing that politics played a role in the government's decision to stop the merger, which Trump has publicly criticized. "We respect the judge's decision and look forward to the upcoming trial," said Dan Petrocelli, lead trial attorney for both AT&T and Time Warner.
