Comment on Introducing John Pilger into the Melbourne Press Club Hall of Fame by scotia1

If only there were more Australian journalists like John Pilger who do not turn a blind eye to the human rights atrocities and genocide being committed by the Indonesian military against our brothers and sisters in West Papua - bearing in mind that the distance between Sydney and Canberra is the same as Australia is to West Papua. That Australian journalists in all media do not give a damn and have turned a blind eye to the killing of the Balibo Five, their colleagues, is beyond the pale. For God's sake stand up and be counted I do believe that most of our journalists have a lot to answer for by turning a blind eye. 'Mans inhumanity to man makes countless thousands mourn. There is no Judea and Samaria anymore than there is Sumeria, Assyria or Mesopotamia. There is only Occupied Palestine and the modern day Middle East. There is no Judea and even when there was, it was no more than an encampment by colonisers from Mesopotamia, camping out with many others in Canaan/Palestine. Religions do not get land rights. If they did the Christians could claim Palestine and many cities around the world including Istanbul, Alexandria, Bombay, and countless others which they founded.
