Now there will be a vote in Congress to allow the private sector to take vacation time instead of overtime pay. Which choice do you prefer?

So this is how McCain and Fox reward their looser, but more important this was the kind of information withheld from the average Joe.

McCain and Fox knew Sarah Palin did not qualify to be Vice President as was George Bush. They withheld information vital to Americans making the right decision based on facts and truth.

Can Palin Answer A Question Without Talking Points?

2008-10-25T20:00:23.659-05:00

(object) (embed)

Video from Daily Kos

Brian Williams asked Gov. Palin a simple yes or no question: "Back to the notion of terrorists and terrorism, this word has come up in relation to Mr. Ayers -- hanging out with terrorist – domestic terrorists. It is said that it gives it a vaguely post uh 9-11 hint, using that word, that we don’t normally associate with domestic crimes. Are we changing the definition? Are the people who set fire to American cities during the ‘60’s terrorists, under this definition? Is an abortion clinic bomber a terrorist under the definition?". See Oxdone Gazette

Palin went all around the question and brought up Bill Ayers...is there some type of talking point that includes Bill Ayers with every answer?

Why don't she talk about the fact that her husband Todd Palin, who was registered in October 1995 to the Alaska Independence Party, a radical group that advocates for Alaskan secession from the United States...what would she categorize Todd as?

There is something about the McCain ticket that rubs a lot of Americans the wrong way and for McCain to pick Palin as his running mate, tell some Americans that he is not handling his campaign in a logical way...what say you?

Let me say that if you have not seen it already, you've got to check out Robert Rouse, That’s My Take #12

Before I say anything, I wish that others would visit FRANIAM and see the hate this country has sunk too.

S.W. Anderson at Oh!pinion provided this link of a polling place in North Carolina where voters were harassed by McCain supporters.

ACORN, thanks to McCain and the Republican party, has started to receive voicemail from some Americans. I first thought that maybe they needed a hug, but I decided that hate cannot be swept away with a hug. These two voicemails are from

An Additional $37 Billion Dollars For AIG?

2008-10-09T21:24:56.801-06:00

(object) (embed)

Video From: VoiceOfAmericans2008

I told you that I was not the smartest man out here, but there is something seriously wrong when we hear about AIG and another $37 billion dollar loan from the Treasury. A week after the government bailout. AIG is reported to have at the cost of $443,343.71 spent or paid this amount for their executives at a retreat in California.

Rep. Cummings said, "AIG spent $200,000 dollars for hotel rooms. Almost $150,000 for catered banquets. AIG spent $23,000 at the hotel spa and another $1,400 at the salon. They were getting manicures, facials, pedicures and massages while American people were footing the bill. And they spent another $10,000 dollars for I don't know what this is, leisure dining."

Today as reported by CBS.

The Federal Reserve has agreed to provide insurance giant American International Group with a loan of up to $37.8 billion, on top of one made to the troubled company last month.

This even after the Bush administration stated "it was "despicable" that AIG executives spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on a posh California retreat just days after getting the $85 billion bailout."

Just what does this say to Americans when we are told that an additional loan worth billions were being given to this institution for the bailout, what say you?

Olbermann's Special Comment On Gov. Palin

2008-10-06T22:12:39.877-06:00

(embed)

Olbermann gave a special comment on Gov. Palin. He talked about Joe Vogler and Palins husband and the secession they seeked for Alaska, and how Gov. Palin read an infinity number of news papers.

Palin said that she had heels on and taking off the gloves, trying to be the hatchet person to smear Obama, yet she does not seem to realize exactly what she and McCain holds in their dirty little closets.

She seems to forget about Pastor Muthee, the witch doctor chaser and the layer of hands and prayer for her.

This seems to be about smear and not what anyone will be doing to help with our economy, you know the one, that Bush was is in charge of, the one that McCain seemed to favor de regulations over regulations for our financial institutions.

Where are we headed America and how long will we continue to eat up the smears instead of trying to get someone in the White House that might help this country, what say you?

I Guess It's Just Me That's Dumb!

2008-10-04T07:26:13.159-06:00

(image)

I know that I am not the smartest man in the world, so I need a little help to understand this bailout.

How can our House, Senate and President take the advice of a Secretary Of Treasury, who has been a CEO not just once but twice?

How can they take the money Americans give to our Government to run our country then give $700 billion dollars to Wall Street, who will loan tax dollars back to us for Homes and cars, then charge us interest on our own money?

It is also said that the $700 billion dollars will be borrowed from other countries and our kids at some point will have to pay it back. Now what sense does that make, what say you?

Since I wrote this post I read Thomaslb post called Math. Thomaslb explains it like this: "A $700 billion dollar bailout divided by a population of 301,139,947 comes to $2,324.50 per person.

Of course, not every person works. In 2007, roughly 138 million Americans made enough money to pay taxes. $700 billion divided by 138 million comes to $5,072.46 per wage earner.

The government recently handed out $600 checks to every taxpayer in order to stimulate the economy. Logically, what will sending out bills for more than eight times that amount do?"

McCain's Blame Game

2008-10-01T04:58:40.111-06:00

(embed)

Remember it was McCain who said he was going to lead the Republican charge for the bailout of Wall Street, he was going to make sure that this was a bipartisan success...he called for the charge, well what happen?

I am sure that the folks that have gotten rich stealing from us can raise enough in a fund raiser to help with their own bailout. It seems those billions in option ARMs were just too much, now their equity is about to be gone. So do a fund raser and get yourself back on your own feet, as we all do.

With the bailout that would ensure money for the already rich, we the Main Street would be giving away everything for nothing.

I do not know about you, but I am tired of being on the lowest scale in this country. Any time Americas are asked to sacrifice, it's always the poor and middle class doing just that.

Now that this bill did not pass McCain is blaming anyone he can and you know that starts with Obama.

If we elect this man as our next President, we will have only ourselves to blame. Anyone still feels that need to follow McCain because Hillary did not win, what say you?

Where Is America???

2012-06-21T13:29:49.195-06:00

From Politicartoons Is this the America that is pushed to the back of the line, the America we never see? There's nothing that this man can say for some Americans to accept him as President. This is where my vote will be going and God help us if he fails.Pissed On Politics has a great post on how some of this came to be and he links it to Predatory LendersThe Bush administration did nothing to protect consumers from, Predatory lending, it embarked on an aggressive and unprecedented campaign to prevent states from protecting their residents from the very problems to which the federal government was turning a blind eye."state attorneys general and others involved in consumer protection began to notice a marked increase in a range of predatory lending practices by mortgage lenders. Some were misrepresenting the terms of loans, making loans without regard to consumers' ability to repay, making loans with deceptive "teaser" rates that later ballooned astronomically, packing loans with undisclosed charges and fees, or even paying illegal kickbacks. These and other practices, we noticed, were having a devastating effect on home buyers. In addition, the widespread nature of these practices, if left unchecked, threatened our financial markets.""In 2003, during the height of the predatory lending crisis, the OCC invoked a clause from the 1863 National Bank Act to issue formal opinions preempting all state predatory lending laws, thereby rendering them inoperative. The OCC also promulgated new rules that prevented states from enforcing any of their own consumer protection laws against national banks. The federal government's actions were so egregious and so unprecedented that all 50 state attorneys general, and all 50 state banking superintendents, actively fought the new rules. Now we are faced with a $700 billion bailout of mortgage lenders. Financial Institutions that will find a way around the Mortgage Back Security with our very own Government furnishing said security, with no ideal about how. In other words they will be hiring the same people that got us in this mess to govern these mortgage and securities. This is what they call a tentative clearance for the Main Street? Please. This will only make matters worse for Main Street. With 535 members of both House and Senate, I am sure they could have come up with something better than this.Good bye $350 billion dollars from the start with Secretary of the Treasury Henry Paulson, former companies getting a great share of this money from the start.I have a great House for sale before it loses any value:click photo to enlargeFor Sale seven bedroom, four bathroom, theater room, game room, three car garage, and fully finished basement. I've got to get out of this mess, because that's what coming.Where is America, what say you?[...]

Hannity and ABC On William Ayers

2008-04-19T23:30:19.374-06:00

(object)
(embed)

Story From A NEWT ONE After eight years of Hannity defending Bush and going against anything that the Democrats tried to do to help this country. ABC allowed his poison to come into the Democratic debates in reference to William Ayers and his relationship to Obama. Was there any relationship with Obama at age eight and after when he and Ayers was on the same board? William Ayers is a professor of education at the University of Illinois, Chicago. He is also a former member of the Weather Underground Movement, previously known as the Weathermen, a radical 1960's Maoist movement dedicated to sparking a revolutionary overthrow of the United States government. He, along with other members of the Weather Underground, turned themselves in to police in 1981, after a series of official acts of misconduct on behalf of law enforcement officials ensured that they would never be brought to trial for their activities. Obama's connection to Ayers began in 1999, when they served together on the board of the Wood Fund of Chicago, a philanthropic foundation. Their children also have attended the same schools and Ayers is a known Obama supporter and campaign contributor. Wake up America and look at what is being done by ABC and Hannity. Was this an ambush to cause Obama to lower his guard an allow someone pass to be associated with him?

Telling It As It Is And Not Causing Hate!

As I read a lot of other blogs, I hear playing race card and race tones all over their comment sections. Are we blind to what is going on in America? Why can't we see the real issues and start from there?

Whomever gets the nomination from the Democratic party will get my vote and that is all to it. All lies and hate should be put aside and those that are starting it should really look at what is going on in the Democratic party.

Oops There Goes Another One!

First let's start with the first lie. See Hillary first lie

Yet another lie has been spreaded by our former first lady and New York Senator. According to The New York Times.

Sen. Clinton has been going around claiming that "an uninsured pregnant woman who lost her baby and died herself after being denied care by an Ohio hospital because she could not come up with a $100 fee."

"The woman, Trina Bachtel, did die last August, two weeks after her baby boy was stillborn at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens, Ohio. But hospital administrators said Friday that Ms. Bachtel was under the care of an obstetrics practice affiliated with the hospital, that she was never refused treatment and that she was, in fact, insured.

“We implore the Clinton campaign to immediately desist from repeating this story,” said Rick Castrop, chief executive officer of the O’Bleness Health System.

Linda M. Weiss, a spokeswoman for the not-for-profit hospital, said the Clinton campaign had never contacted the hospital to check the accuracy of the story, which Mrs. Clinton had first heard from a Meigs County, Ohio, sheriff’s deputy in late February."

My question is, why does she continue to make such untrue statements, what say you?

Why Bother?

2008-03-19T17:22:16.610-05:00

Why even bother to complain about what President Bush has done to this country or even the war in Iraq, when we are set on allowing John McCain to become President.

How is it that we sit around computers for days on end and talked about the lives and what this President has put this country through. We are ready once again to do the same thing if our candidate does not get the nominee for President.

How do we justify Clinton or Obama being so wrong for this country when we have spent the past seven years with Bush.

I hear how this war has been wrong and the lives it has cost and the money that has been wasted to fuel it was wrong.

Yet I hear and see everyday the followers of Clinton and Obama making statements that they would not vote for President if their candidate is not the nominee. Just what are we doing and how in the world can we fix this mistake that we are about to make for our country?

A Speech Will Not Change A Dislike!

2008-03-19T09:51:54.967-05:00

There has been a lot of talk about Obama and the speech he made today. I thought I would present Olbermanns take, then re-post what I read from JollyRogers site today. The Chimpromised MSM, Faithfully Serving Their MastersWritten by JollyRoger on March 18, 2008 – 11:31 am Barack Obama is going to have to address some hateful comments his pastor made today, and he’s going to have to do it in the context of race. The Klanservatives have been trying HARD to inject race into this campaign, and they’ve received a powerful boost from the Clinton campaign. One would have hoped that Hill would have avoided the Klanservatism, having been the perennial victim of some fairly vicious misogyny, but one would have hoped wrong. Sadly, “anything to win” now dominates in American politics. Thanks a bunch, Chimpy and Poppy (of the Willie Horton ad.)The handmaidens of the Chimpromised MSM have yet again proven their unswerving loyalty to Chimpy and his anointed successor in how they’ve chosen to cover this issue. While Obama has been pounded mercilessly by the punditry of Wingtardia (who have, in turn, been given nearly constant media coverage for their poundings,) Obama has also been forced to repeatedly disavow what Jeremiah Wright said.Contrast the Chimpromised MSM’s nonstop flagellation of Obama (who disavows the remarks) with the free pass John McCavein is getting in the media. McCavein has praised and embraced 2 of the most despicable Jesusistani elders in America today, without even a whisper from the lapdogs of our “fair” media. Here’s what McCavein had to say about the endorsement of John Hagee…Yesterday, Senator John McCain said he was “very honored by Pastor John Hagee’s endorsement.” The Republican presidential hopeful also called Hagee “the staunchest leader of our Christian evangelical movement,” citing the minister’s pro-Israel stance. And here’s what Hagee has to say about those Satan-worshiping Catholic murderers…Adolf Hitler attended a Catholic school as a child and heard all the fiery anti-Semitic rantings from Chrysostom to Martin Luther. When Hitler became a global demonic monster, the Catholic Church and Pope Pius XII never, ever slightly criticized him. Pope Pius XII, called by historians ‘Hitler’s Pope,’ joined Hitler in the infamous Concordat of Collaboration, which turned the youth of the [sic] Germany over to Nazism, and the churches became the stage background for the bloodthirsty cry, ‘Pereat Judea’[19]…. In all of his [Hitler’s] years of absolute brutality, he was never denounced or even scolded by Pope Pius XII or any Catholic leader in the world. To those Christians who believe that Jewish hearts will be warmed by the sight of the cross, please be informed-to them it’s an electric chair. (pp. 79-81) To put it mildly, this is bullshit. There are plenty of reasons to knock the Catholic Church without claiming that all Catholics are Nazis. Hagee doesn’t stop with just hating Catholics though. On the September 18, 2006, edition of National Public Radio’s Fresh Air, Hagee stated that Hurricane Katrina was an act of God, punishing New Orleans for “a level of sin that was offensive to God”. He specifically referred to a “homosexual parade” that was held on the date the hurricane struck and that this was proof “of the judgment of God against the city of New Orleans”, even though the Southern Decadence parade was scheduled for the following week and the primary [...]

Will Hillary Clinton Say Or Do Anything To Become President?

Olbermann made some very serious charges against Hillary Clinton in reference to the Nafta Criticism and just what she did or did not do during the Ohio and Texas champagne.

America knows what happens when a President keeps secrets and do not tell the people the truth about things. We do not need someone else with this type of personality.

It seems that Sen. Clinton has told America that only she and McCain had the experience to be President. Just what is it that she is saying?
