"Let no freedom be allowed to novelty, because it is not fitting that any addition should be made to antiquity. Let not the clear faith and belief of our forefathers be fouled by any muddy admixture." -- Pope Sixtus III

Fyodor explains that fake news is nothing new.

Actually, it is the norm and always has been.First, find below my thoughts on "objective journalism". Second, some links to articles about the history of American journalism that no one alive today knows anything about because it happened before they were born. Last, I offer the most horrific fake news ever, the story of Walter Duranty's cover-up of Stalin's Ukrainian genocide, which won the bastard the Pulitzer Prize. The conceit of modern journalists and scholars is that in the olden days newspeople were partisan and biased, skewing their writing to advance their political agenda or that of their employers. Then, the 20th century arrived, and magically, so did "objective journalism" which was the rule until Rash Dimbulb and Fox News appeared and started spewing right-wing "propaganda" while calling it news. And that made the lumpenproletariat vote for Orange Clump. What miracle occurred in the early 20th century to change partisan yellow journalism into a crusading force for truth, justice, light, and niceness?Nothing. Not a single, solitary thing. There was no change whatsoever. "Objective journalism" was invented to protect journalists from anyone who dared question their fairness and objectivity. Anyone who did so was shouted down as a crank or an un-American fascist. "How dare you question the integrity if the Press, sir? We are the defenders of freedom. We are the First Amendment incarnate!"Today, the progeny and heirs of this 20th century fairy tale fear they have lost control of the "narrative" and with it, the lumpenproletariat. (Defined as anyone too stupid and/or evil to agree with them.) These citizens don't like where the fairy tale peddlers are leading them and therefore choose to listen to sources they like. Same as it ever was. In other words, there is now an "anti-Establishment press" press.Make no mistake, kiddies, the media is an Establishment in and of itself. It has a philosophy, an ideology, and interests it promotes and defends at all costs. These can be summed up in one word - power. Grasping it, consolidating it, getting more of it, and destroying any person or institution that threatens it's power are the priorities of any Establishment or elite. If you believe the fairy tale (or lie, or, dare I type it, fake news) of the creation of "objective journalism" out of the morass that was 18th and 19th century partisan journalism, you are most likely someone who supports the Establishment media and it's political and social agenda. Of course, such a person would also vehemently deny their biases and constantly repeat the fairy tale verbatim.I am posting this in the (probably) vain hope that some folks may ask themselves if it is possible they too suffer from "confirmation bias".The Fall and Rise of Partisan Journalism – Center for Journalism EthicsHistory of American newspapers - WikipediaPartisan politics? After 2,000 years, you'd think the Catholic Church would learn that the world HATES her.

The One True Church cannot win by playing by the world's rules. She can never do enough to satisfy that which opposes her mission of love. Her enemies do not care about victims of abuse, or the poor, or the oppressed. They only care about destroying Her.Pope shocks Chile by accusing sex abuse victims of slander - Washington's other other newspaper ...All that being said, Pope Francis seems ill-equipped for the task of defending the Faith. Pray that God the Holy Ghost will strengthen him so he may successfully wage the never-ending war.Pope Francis accused victims of Chile’s most notorious pedophile of slander Thursday, an astonishing end to a visit meant to help heal the wounds of a sex abuse scandal that has cost the Catholic Church its credibility in the country.Francis said that until he sees proof that Bishop Juan Barros was complicit in covering up the sex crimes of the Rev. Fernando Karadima, such accusations against Barros are “all calumny.”The pope’s remarks drew shock from Chileans and immediate rebuke from victims and their advocates. They noted the accusers were deemed credible enough by the Vatican that it sentenced Karadima to a lifetime of “penance and prayer” for his crimes in 2011. A Chilean judge also found the victims to be credible, saying that while she had to drop criminal charges against Karadima because too much time had passed, proof of his crimes wasn’t lacking.“As if I could have taken a selfie or a photo while Karadima abused me and others and Juan Barros stood by watching it all,” tweeted Barros’ most vocal accuser, Juan Carlos Cruz. “These people are truly crazy, and the pontiff talks about atonement to the victims. Nothing has changed, and his plea for forgiveness is empty.”The Karadima scandal dominated Francis’ visit to Chile and the overall issue of sex abuse and church cover-up was likely to factor into his three-day trip to Peru that began late Thursday.Karadima’s victims reported to church authorities as early as 2002 that he would kiss and fondle them in the swank Santiago parish he ran, but officials refused to believe them. Only when the victims went public with their accusations in 2010 did the Vatican launch an investigation that led to Karadima being removed from ministry. The emeritus archbishop of Santiago subsequently apologized for having refused to believe the victims from the start.Francis reopened the wounds of the scandal in 2015 when he named Barros, a protege of Karadima, as bishop of the southern diocese of Osorno. Karadima’s victims say Barros knew of the abuse, having seen it, but did nothing. Barros has denied the allegations. His appointment outraged Chileans, badly divided the Osorno diocese and further undermined the church’s already shaky credibility in the country.Francis had sought to heal the wounds by meeting this week with abuse victims and begging forgiveness for the crimes of church pastors. But on Thursday, he struck a defiant tone when asked by a Chilean journalist about Barros.“The day they bring me proof against Bishop Barros, I’ll speak,” Francis said. “There is not one shred of proof against him. It’s all calumny. Is that clear?”Francis had defended the appointment before, calling the Osorno controversy “stupid” and the result of a campaign mounted by leftists. But The Associated Press reported last week that the Vatican was so worried about the fallout from the Karadima affair that it was prepared in 2014 to ask Barros and two other Karadima-trained bishops to resign and go on a yearlong sabbatical.According to a Jan. 31, 2015, letter obtained by AP from Francis to the executive committee of the Chilean bishops’ conference, the plan fell apart and Barros was sent to Osorno.Juan Carlos Claret, spokesman for a group of Osorno lay Catholics who have mounted a three-year campaign against Barros, questioned why Francis was now accusing the victims of slandering Barros when the Vatican was so convinced of their claims that it p[...]

The Tiny and Terrible Clump also spoke to today's March For Life "live"! (Well, as "live" as It can get.) Ain't it grand having a dictator who pretends to be conservative?Health Workers Who Oppose Abortion Get New Protections - Ibex ...The Trump administration announced on Thursday that it was taking new steps to protect doctors, nurses and other health workers who have religious or moral objections to performing abortions or sex-change operations, or providing other medical services. The move, one day before the annual March for Life in Washington, was a priority for anti-abortion groups.Administration officials urged people to report discrimination to a new unit of the federal government: the conscience and religious freedom division of the office for civil rights at the Department of Health and Human Services.Roger Severino, the director of the civil rights office, promised that he and his staff would thoroughly investigate every complaint. For too long, Mr. Severino said, the federal government has ignored such complaints or treated them with “outright hostility.”Supporters of the new office, like the Family Research Council, welcomed it as a way to protect the rights of health care professionals.Critics said the administration was giving health care providers a license to discriminate, and they raised the possibility that some doctors might deny fertility treatments to lesbian couples and that some pharmacists might refuse to fill prescriptions for certain types of contraceptives. In such situations, patients could suffer, and health care workers could violate professional or ethical obligations.“Donald Trump’s administration is handing out permission slips for hospitals and providers to deny individuals, including women and LGBT patients, access to a full range of health services including life saving emergency care,” said Dawn Huckelbridge, director of the Women’s Rights Initiative at American Bridge, a Democratic advocacy group. “If there is any doubt about how morally repulsive, politically unpopular, and far-reaching the consequences of this rule will be, crafting it in secret behind closed doors and without public input says all you need to know.”Eric D. Hargan, the acting secretary of health and human services, said the new initiative carries out an executive order issued last year by President Trump, who said that people of faith would no longer be bullied or silenced.Representative Vicky Hartzler, Republican of Missouri, who attended an event announcing the new office, said, “No nurse or doctor should lose her job, her livelihood or her profession because of her faith.”[...]

Golly, kiddies, you'd think with AmeriKKKa infested with nazis and rampaging penises, that womyn of the commie persuasion would welcome an attempt by the police to protect other leftist females who want to exercise their First Amendment rights. You'd be wrong. From grow for protest of Philly Women's March over security measuresA social media campaign calling for a boycott of Saturday’s Women’s March on Philadelphia is quickly spreading. Its rationale? The march organizers’ perceived collaboration with police.I know this demonstration should be called BabyDeath 2018, but free speech is important so real men can know which females to avoid like the clap.“The Women’s March of Philadelphia thinks it’s OK to collaborate with the police department to set up security checkpoints and conduct random searches on march attendees, ostensibly stopping and frisking them, putting those already targeted by law enforcement at an even greater risk,” reads a message that started spreading on Facebook Wednesday. “Forget that. Don’t attend the Women’s March.”People sharing the message on social media are asking friends to share it further. While it’s unclear who started the campaign, its message gained steam after it was shared by activists with large social media followings, including George Ciccariello-Maher, an outspoken ex-Drexel University professor known for his controversial tweets, who has more than 6,000 people following him on Facebook.Johanna James, a black woman and an organizer with a local group that advocates for people of color, transgender women and other marginalized groups, attended last year’s Women’s March on Philadelphia, but won’t be going Saturday because of the police presence, which she said invites “trauma on our already traumatized people.” Memo to someone's daughter holding the big white (Racist.) sign in the middle of the photo:Sweetie, men can't get pregnant. That is why they invented contraception and abortion, so they can fuck women with impunity, and then fuck them over with impunity. (I'm not afraid of losing my Man Card for divulging that. Sadly, women are almost as stupid and evil as men nowadays and stubbornly refuse to get it.)“One of the biggest antagonizers of the black community, specifically, is the police,” said James, a co-organizer with the Womanist Working Collective. “Inviting them into that space ultimately means you’re not taking our feelings concerning them into any sort of consideration.”Other organizations have said they’re no longer supporting the event, including the Philadelphia-based Women’s Medical Fund, a nonprofit that aims to expand abortion access for low-income people. Executive director Elicia Gonzales said staff members decided Friday they would not be part of the demonstration after hearing from people in communities they serve who were “saying that they didn’t feel welcomed or reflected by the march.”“We didn’t take this decision lightly and really thought about all the ramifications of both walking and not walking,” she said, “but we stand by our decision.”The boycott campaign began after Women’s March organizers indicated on the event’s Facebook page that attendees will be subject to search by police.“Due to the projected size and scope of the 2018 Women’s March on Philadelphia on January 20th, 2018, the City will be implementing some additional security measures in order to ensure the safety of all in attendance,” according to the Facebook page. The organizers listed prohibited items, including weapons, fireworks, drones and “illegal or illicit substances of any kind.”Organizers are expecting more than 50,000 people to march on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway on the one-year anniversary of President Trump’s inauguration. In response to questions about the boycott campaign, Phil[...]

Tonya Harding, feminist icon...Or, Hoperah 2020!

Before you praise the Hollyweird perverts too loudly for their blackout at the Golden Bolus awards, ask yourself why they gave Tonya Harding a standing ovation. These elitist hypocritical shits are ALWAYS performing. They cannot be real decent people because inside of them there is nothing but self-loathing which can only be temporarily silenced by the sound of applause. If they didn't spread so much evil and hate, I would pity them.BTW, kiddies,  if you believe that any of these heroes and heroines of yours didn't know Harvey Weinstein was raping his way through their ranks for decades, you just might be a dumbass. And now, the star of EVERY show, Okra Whingefree!Aha! Democrats and their Oprah moment - John Kass - Chicago TribunePresident Oprah Winfrey.Aha.In ancient times, that’s what you may have said — if you were still alive — after being struck in the forehead by one of Zeus’ thunderbolts. But now it’s what the Democratic Party is saying after they’ve had their Oprah “aha” moment.Because after her presidential-ish speech at the Golden Globe Awards the other night — and please don’t play the fool and pretend it wasn’t a presidential-ish speech because it was — everything becomes clear. And there is nothing, really, that the Democratic Party can do about it.All Oprah needs to do is reach out her hand for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, as if it were a warm piece of White House pie. It’s on her plate. It’s done.Because if she is denied her pie — as reportedly happened during an awkward visit to the Obama White House — we may witness a disaster.Oprah Winfrey is an expert when it comes to celebrity and marketing. And she’s an artistic genius when it comes to public feelings and public emoting. So when she delivered that speech at the Golden Globes, so folksy, so stirring that Hollywood actors cried real tears and political journalists felt the tingles run down their legs once again, you knew it was her moment.“For too long, women have not been heard or believed if they dare speak the truth to the power of those men,” Winfrey said to the crowd on national TV. “But their time is up. Their time is up.”I’m not making light of her speech. It was a serious talk in prime time to a friendly audience, about racism and sexism and the sins of the past and her hope for the future. It was remarkable. It was a speech of a smart woman testing the presidential waters. But what’s even more remarkable than the speech is what bloomed afterward. The Democratic Media Complex is in love again. They’ve been out in the cold so long, desperate to belong, and now they have their champion. It’s a beautiful thing, really.WARNING! HERE COMES KASS SWALLOWING THE PARTY LINE AND THEN VOMITING IT ONTO YOUR SCREEN.President Donald Trump became president by bashing down the establishment gates. But the Democratic Media Complex, which at its core is establishmentarian, loathed him for it.Trump threatened their seats at the banquet, their position as guardians of empire, but Oprah?Pity. The rest of this makes sense. I guess he doesn't want to get audited by the IRS.Oprah is their moveable feast. And they will open the gates wide for her.NBC, obsequious as ever, did so by endorsing an Oprah presidential run on its verified Twitter account. “Nothing but respect for OUR future president,” it said. Then NBC realized that an endorsement, even before Oprah asked for it, might suggest media bias. So NBC deleted the tweet, though obviously the love still throbs.Actress Meryl Streep is the grande dame of Hollywood now. She loves Oprah.Yes, Streep also once idolized sex harasser/assaulter and producer Harvey Weinstein, or at least she thought so highly of him that she once publicly declared he was “God.”But Streep loves Oprah now.“I want her to run for president,” Streep said.Streep was clearly overwhelmed, as were many in the audience[...]

Even people with vaginas can be real shits.Girls' JV basketball coach arrested on sexual assault charges ... - Fox43DOVER, YORK COUNTY, Pa. -- Police in York County arrest a girls' basketball coach on charges of institutional sexual assault, as well as unlawful contact and communication with a minor for sexual offenses. Both charges are third degree felonies.Dover Area High School's girls' junior varsity team is up against Northeastern High School Wednesday night, but they are without their coach. The Dover Area School District recently suspended 23-year-old girls' JV basketball coach Aignee Freeland. Now, she's been arrested on charges related to an alleged sexual relationship with one of her players, a 16-year-old girl.York County Children's Advocacy Center executive director Deb Harrison is familiar with helping families through cases like this."These things always occur in a culture of secrecy, and teenagers are already secretive from their parents. So, really encouraging parents to find ways to be parents," Harrison said."Often the temptation with teenagers is we want to be their best friend, and encouraging parents to to step forward, and say 'I'm the parent here, and I need to see your phone, I need to know who you're texting, I need to know who you're in communication with,'" Harrison added.Court documents state that Northern York County Regional Police received reports of a relationship between the coach and the student.A police investigation found 18 video calls made, received or missed on the victim's phone on two dates in late December."The coach should be able to communicate with parents about what's going on. There shouldn't be a need to text a child," Harrison said.Court documents state the victim told investigators that she and the coach first chatted through social media, then through phone calls or text. The victim also stated that she would meet with her coach at various locations after practice, sit in her car and talk, and that coach Freeland would touch her sexually, all over her body.Police said both coach Freeland and the victim knew this could get Freeland in trouble, and that they agreed to keep their relationship a secret.Whether their alleged relationship was consensual, Freeland now faces third degree felony charges for contact with a minor, and institutional sexual assault."It has to do with being in a position where you are in some sense, a position of power over a child. As a coach you may see yourself as their friend, but you are their coach. You are in a position where you can make decisions that impact that child," Harrison said."In terms of culpability and responsibility, we would again, point to that adult, that's the difference, it's an adult and a child, so we would really look to that and say this is an inappropriate relationship," Harrison added.Harrison recommends parents should ask about their child's school's communication policy between students and coaches. Some coaches may or may not be completely clear on that policy."They need to understand the ethics of their role. They need to understand that they're in a leadership position, and the organization that they're connected to should be ensuring that rules and understanding is in place," Harrison saidMeanwhile, Dover Area High School administrators say they are cooperating with police during the investigation, and offering counseling to students.TheChurchMilitant: Sometimes anti-social, but always anti-fascist since 2005. Fyodor has seen the future, and it is Venezuela.

The commie shits (today's theme, it seems) that rule the poor people of Venezuela might allow our brotherly love to infiltrate their socialist paradise as long as the hostages (Oops! I mean "citizens", of course.) agree to pretend their left-fascist dictatorship is okey-dokey with them. And you thought Faust's bargain was a rough one!Maduro may allow food aid into Venezuela if ... - Miami HeraldFacing an explosive crisis, Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro is considering allowing international food donations to enter his country, but wants the opposition to recognize the legitimacy of the controversial National Constituent Assembly (NCA).Maduro also wants to control the distribution of the food donations — so far denied entry by the government despite growing food shortages and looting — according to sources close to the situation. The proposal has been under consideration during negotiations between the government and opposition this week in the Dominican Republic, said three sources. Two of the sources are diplomats who have been briefed on the conversations, and the third is an opposition official. The sources agreed that the arrival of humanitarian aid and the legitimacy of the NCA are two of the key issues under negotiation behind closed doors. Also on the agenda are the U.S. sanctions on the Maduro government and early presidential elections. But the legitimacy of the Constituent Assembly would be difficult for the opposition to accept. The umbrella Democratic Unity Roundtable — known as MUD — has repeatedly called it a fraud organized by Maduro to seize total and unchallenged control of the nation.“Accepting the Constituent Assembly means surrendering the country. It is legitimizing the regime’s staying in power and driving the final nail into the casket of freedom in Venezuela,” said Diego Arias, a former Venezuelan ambassador to the United Nations who lives in New York.Opposition leader Maria Corina Machado agreed. “Any decision taken in the Dominican Republic to accept [the NCA] or even ignore it would be absolutely unacceptable to us,” she said. The Constituent Assembly is a fraudulent entity that could reverse any government decisions, including any agreement reached in the Dominican Republic, Machado added, by phone from Venezuela. That’s why any agreement reached by the negotiators must start with the dismantling of the NCA, so that the final terms can be accepted by the Venezuelan people, Machado said. The Maduro government disagrees, according to the sources. The government would be willing to allow the entry of humanitarian aid from the World Food Program, a branch of the United Nations, in exchange for the opposition’s promise to stop challenging the NCA’s legitimacy, the sources said. The government also would be willing to allow the opposition to appoint two members to the five-member National Electoral Council, according to the sources. The opposition now holds only one seat on the council.Hoping to sweeten the deal, the government also has offered to release some political prisoners and agree to legally register some political parties previously abolished.Opening the way for the food assistance might be initially portrayed as a victory for the opposition, whose popularity has been pummeled by its agreement to negotiate with the unpopular government. But the arrival of the humanitarian aid would also resolve a serious problem for the government, which has been roundly criticized for economic policies that sparked the unprecedented food shortages.Did you know Venezuela has more oil than Saudi Arabia?“Right now, Maduro is desperate because of the food situation. The country is burning up with looting, and he understands that the situation could spin out of control,” said Esteban Gerbasi, a Miami political consultant. But allowing the g[...]

President Donald Trump asked participants in an Oval Office meeting Thursday why the United States should accept immigrants from “s***hole countries”in Africa, Central America and the Caribbean, according to two people briefed on the meeting.

OMG, this is priceless! Commie stooge with a camera Morgan Spurlock confesses to being a serial sexual predator before the skeletons in his closet even get a chance to look up Gloria Allred's phone number! Will his bold preemptive strike save what he thinks of as his career? Stay tuned kiddies! From Washington's other other newspaper:Morgan Spurlock steps down from his production company...If SNL had any balls (or they weren't commies too) Spurlick's blog post would make a classic skit.“Super Size Me” director Morgan Spurlock has stepped down from Warrior Poets, the New York-based production company he founded in 2004. The announcement came on Thursday, a day after he shared a confessional blog post admitting to his long history of sexual harassment.Harassment? Says you. He sounds like a rapist to me. Or as the late Huge Hefner might call him, a "playboy".“On behalf of Warrior Poets, (Hee-hee! "His gun's a pen.") we as partners have always supported our company and its endeavors. As of today, Morgan Spurlock will be stepping down effective immediately,” a spokeswoman for the company told The Washington Post in a statement on Thursday. No further explanation was offered.Spurlock, who wrote that he “built a career on finding the truth,” (Oh, Margaret!) shared the detailed account of his misconduct stretching back to his college days in a post that he tweeted on Wednesday night with the note, “I am Part of the Problem.”The message came just months after he sold his documentary “Super Size Me 2: Holy Chicken!” to YouTube Red for $3.5 million, according to Deadline. Spurlock also has a forthcoming docu-series titled “Cultureshock” on A&E, set to premiere in 2018.“As I sit around watching hero after hero, (Who, asshole? Franken? Conyers? Clinton? Roy Moore? What a fuckhead.) man after man, (Ha! Your definition of "man" leaves quite a bit to be desired.) fall at the realization of their past indiscretions, I don’t sit by and wonder ‘who will be next?’ ” he began. “I wonder, ‘when will they come for me?’ ”He heard the fascist left's Black Mariah driving down his street and confessed like a Menshevik at a Stalinist show trial. In the blog post, he chronicled his multiple infidelities, verbal sexual harassment in the workplace, battle with depression and decades-long struggle with alcohol abuse.Booze and sadness makes him hurt girls. I see a future in Country music ahead.“I can’t blindly act as though I didn’t somehow play a part in this,” Spurlock wrote about the sexual harassment epidemic in Hollywood. “Over my life, there have been many instances that parallel what we see every day in the news.”To support this statement, he offered several examples of his sexual misconduct throughout the post, always punctuating the harrowing stories with a variation on the phrase “I am part of the problem.”The first instance he divulged took place in college, when he had a one-night sexual encounter with a girl that he thought was consensual but she later referred to as “rape.”After a night of drinking, the two went back to his room and “began fooling around,” but she pushed him off her. Still clothed, the two laid in bed for a while laughing and joking. Before long they were “fooling around” again, though this time they took off their clothes. The girl, whom Spurlock didn’t name, said she didn’t want to have sex, but they eventually did anyway. During intercourse, the girl began crying. The two stopped having sex, and Spurlock tried comforting her.“I thought I was doing ok, I believed she was feeling better. She believed she was raped,” Spurlock wrote, adding, “That’s why I’m part o[...]

BAD PENISES!I must admit this is really a lot of fun for those of us who revere women, because the left-fascist hypocrites driving this "movement" hate manly, decent, and honest gentlemen MORE than they hate the rapists and abusers. Oh, the irony! Here's the latest from The Perv Wars front:MeToo spotlight increasingly pointed at past Trump conduct - Washington's other other newspaper -Donald Trump sailed past a raft of allegations of sexual misconduct in last year’s presidential election. Now the national #MeToo spotlight is turning back to Trump and his past conduct. Several of his accusers are urging Congress to investigate his behavior, and a number of Democratic lawmakers are demanding his resignation. With each day seeming to bring new headlines that force men from positions of power, the movement to expose sexual harassment has forced an unwelcome conversation on the White House. In a heated exchange with reporters in the White House briefing room on Monday, press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders steadfastly dismissed accusations against the Republican president and suggested the issue had already been litigated in Trump’s favor on Election Day.But to Trump’s accusers, the rising #MeToo movement is an occasion to ensure he is at last held accountable.“It was heartbreaking last year. We’re private citizens and for us to put ourselves out there to try and show America who this man is and how he views women, and for them to say, ‘Eh, we don’t care,’ it hurt,” Samantha Holvey said Monday. The former beauty queen claimed that Trump ogled her and other Miss America pageant contestants in their dressing room in 2006.“Let’s try round two,” she said. “The environment’s different. Let’s try again.”Holvey was one of four women to make her case against Trump on Monday, both in an NBC interview and then in a news conference. Rachel Crooks, a former Trump Tower receptionist who said the celebrity businessman kissed her on the mouth in 2006 without consent, called for Congress to “put aside party affiliations and investigate Trump’s history of sexual misconduct.”“If they were willing to investigate Sen. Franken, it’s only fair that they do the same for Trump,” Crooks said.Franken, the Democratic senator from Minnesota, announced last week that he would resign amid an ethics probe into accusations that he sexually harassed several women. Reps. John Conyers, D-Mich., and Trent Franks, R-Ariz., also resigned after misconduct accusations. But a Capitol Hill investigation into Trump’s conduct appears unlikely. The Senate and House Ethics Committees investigate members of Congress, not presidents, and Republican-led committees are not apt to investigate Trump on sexual misconduct unless there is some sort of connection to the ongoing Russia probe.Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., said Congress shouldn’t investigate the allegations against Trump.“I don’t think there’s any forum for us to do that,” he said. “Just think about how that could be abused.”Nonetheless, several Democratic senators have seized the moment and called for Trump to step down.“President Trump should resign,” New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand told CNN on Monday. “These allegations are credible; they are numerous. I’ve heard these women’s testimony, and many of them are heartbreaking.”New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker and Oregon Sen. Jeff Merkley have also called on Trump to resign.White House aides have warily watched the movement sweep Capitol Hill, opting to repeat rote denials about allegations against the president. The president’s advisers were stunned Sunday when one of the highest-ranking women in the Trump administ[...]

SEX IS DEATH. (Part 123: #HimToo Crossover Episode!)

I came to Carthage, where I found myself in the midst of a hissing cauldron of lusts. I had not yet fallen in love, but I was in love with the idea of it, and this feeling that something was missing made me despise myself for not being more anxious to satisfy the need. I began to look around for some object for my love, since I badly wanted to love something. — St. Augustine, ConfessionsLawmaker who spun history of heroics ends life in suicide - Washington's other other newspaper ...How about Romans 6:23 for Mr. Johnson's epitaph? "The wages of sin is death."FRANKFORT, Ky. — The Kentucky lawmaker’s resume included enough material for an award-winning memoir: He was a peacekeeper at the Rodney King riots in Los Angeles, a White House chaplain to three presidents and a 9/11 first responder who gave last rites (WTF?) to hundreds of people at Ground Zero. What exactly are last rites for heretics? I know what the Catholic rites are. I have a strong feeling that Mr. Johnson is full of regrets (to say the least) now that he knows The Truth. But Republican Dan Johnson’s carefully crafted history crumbled this week following an extensively reported story from the Kentucky Center for Investigative Reporting. The story tore down his claims and portrayed him as a con man whose deceptions propped up his ministry of a church of outcasts in Louisville and hid a sinister secret: a sexual assault allegation from a 17-year-old girl.Johnson denied it all, declaring his innocence from the pulpit of the church where he was the self-appointed “pope.” (He kept moving his reservation in Hell to lower and lower circles.) By Wednesday night, he was dead, his body found on the side of a secluded road with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.Rock bottom. Let us hope he was insane as well, for the sake of his immortal soul. The death of the 57-year-old jolted Republican leaders, who were already struggling with a sexual harassment scandal that toppled the state’s first GOP House speaker in nearly 100 years plus three other Republican committee chairmen. Most in the party had already turned their back on Johnson, calling for his resignation following the sexual assault allegation and his history of posting racist photos on Facebook that depicted President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama as monkeys.By Thursday, many were offering messages of sympathy while acknowledging Johnson’s complex life.“He was passionate about others, I saw it often yet he needed help himself,” GOP state Rep. Jim DuPlessis, who sat beside Johnson on the House floor, posted on Twitter.Johnson’s wife, Rebecca Johnson, said her husband was the victim of a “high-tech lynching” and announced she would run to replace him in the Legislature.Actually, madam, it was a gunshot wound to the head, complicated by a false religion that offers no hope to sinners. Elected in 2016, he was part of a wave of Republican victories that gave the GOP a majority in the Kentucky House for the first time in nearly 100 years. But before that, he was the pastor of Heart of Fire Church in Louisville, which prided itself on welcoming “real people.”“It was a biker church, so there was lots of leather jackets, lots of long hair and people that if you ran into them on the street, you might have a different first impression,” said David Adams, a political operative who worked with Johnson on his campaign. On the church’s website, Johnson claimed to have healed sick people during a visit to South America in 1991, including the incredible story of raising a woman from the dead. The miracles were detailed in a letter from David Fischer[...]

Cal Thomas and Abe Lincoln aren't my favorites, but they'll do.

Personally, I think it is a waste of breath trying to get protestants to live real Christianity instead of the shit they make up every day to justify whatever sin they happen to be enjoying at the time, but I am not permitted to believe in invincible ignorance, so...I'd like to think the following thinking did some good yesterday in Alabama and helped 22,000 Alabamians write in a name other than that of one of the two major-party fascist perverts. The Choice In Alabama for Christians No king but Caesar By Cal Thomas In September 1862, a group of Chicago ministers sent a “memorial” (or long letter) to President Abraham Lincoln in which they made a theological argument for the elimination of slavery. Lincoln had also heard from Southern clergy who used the same scriptures to justify slavery’s preservation. In response, Lincoln wrote the Chicago group with words that today’s Christians might consider when it comes to matters involving sexual harassment and the setting aside of moral and biblical principles to achieve temporary political goals. “I am approached with the most opposite opinions and advice, and that by religious men, who are equally certain that they represent the Divine will. I am sure that either the one or the other class is mistaken in the belief, and perhaps in some respects both. I hope it will not be irreverent for me to say that if it is probable that God would reveal his will to others, on a point so connected with my duty, it might be supposed he would reveal it directly to me; for, unless I am more deceived in myself than I often am, it is my earnest desire to know the will of Providence in this matter. And if I can learn what it is I will do it! These are not, however, the days of miracles, and I suppose it will be granted that I am not to expect a direct revelation. I must study the plain physical facts of the case, ascertain what is possible and learn what appears to be wise and right. The subject is difficult, and good men do not agree.” Lincoln eventually made the right decision that culminated in The Emancipation Proclamation. The divided nation shed much blood over slavery, and the fallout from that war continues today in racial conflict. I have listened to arguments on both sides of the sexual harassment issue by “good men” (and women). There are those who believe allegations of sexual harassment of teens and young women by Alabama Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore are sufficient to deny him a seat in the Senate. Others say that maintaining a 52-seat Republican majority is critical to advancing President Trump’s agenda, which includes seating more conservative judges on federal benches. This, they say, supersedes what Moore may or may not have done 40 years ago. By cleaning house (and the Senate) of their own bad boys, many Democrats think they will gain a previously hidden moral authority to win back the House and impeach President Trump for his alleged past (and they believe more recent) misdeeds. The Democrats’ agenda might be true, but for evangelical Christians should either argument matter more than the King and Kingdom they are supposed to serve? Some biblical wisdom might be instructive. In the Old Testament, Esau sold his birthright to his brother Jacob for a bowl of soup. He later regretted his decision, but at the time he was hungry and said his birthright meant little to him. In the ultimate church-state moment where the crowd was forced to choose between demanding that Pilate give the order to crucify Jesus of Nazareth, or let Him go, there was this sobering exchange: Pilate: “Shall I crucify your king?” The chie[...]

How Orange Clump & The Establishfucks lost Alabama...

...when they could have run a criminally insane liar and thief with an "R" behind his name (Hey, wait just a minute...that sounds eerily familiar...) and won handily.Clump: 'I Said Roy Moore Will Not Be Able to Win' in Alabama - The Old Gray Whore...From Washington's other other newspaper:Roy Moore tested white evangelical allegiance to the Repansycan Party...From The Daily Bust:'I Think Bannon Made an Ass of Himself': Republicans Rejoice...Kiddies, let me cut through all the crap from both groups of fascists, left and right.1) The Orange Genius made Senator (hint, hint) Sessions AG while playing politics. (payback for Sessions being the first big-name pol to endorse it.) Hubris, as always with this clown, was also a factor(believing it is a political genius and nobody it backs could lose in a state it won by landslide)2) Mo Brooks was the Real Conservative in the primary. Clump, the Clumpskyites, McConnell, and The Establishfucks whacked him in favor of the Repansycan Establishfuck Luther Stranglove (though his love is not as strange as ol' Roy Moore's) and Alabamians said NO and picked Moore, a vile heretic who has been wrapping himself in The Ten Commandments for decades while ignoring most of them.3) Then there is the NAPZI Party's favorite trans gal, @GermaineGreerInDrag. This dumb cow charged all over Alabama, spreading methane and her faux-populism, which is nothing more than a power-mad ego trip from an ignorant nobody trapped in a donated armadillo penis.P.S. God bless the 22,000 Alabamians who wrote in "NONE OF THE ABOVE MOTHERFUCKERS", giving a giant Bronx (Birmingham?) cheer to the Repansycan right-fascist sex pervert and the Democrass left-fascist baby-eater. It seems Pope Francis needs to brush up on his Tertullian!

It has been reported (in The ChristLast Media, I must note) that the current Pope does not like the phrase "lead us not into temptation" from The Lord's Prayer and wishes it to be translated differently. (The Catholic Bishops of France have already done so.) May I suggest all these worthy prelates as well as all you good Catholic kiddies take a gander at what one of the Fathers of the Church wrote on this very subject. (It would do all you prods a world of good as well.)Everything Tertullian wrote on this prayer is germane, but I know what attention spans are like these days. The most germane is Capter 8, highlighted below. From the Catholic Encyclopedia ( FATHERS: On Prayer (Tertullian)Chapter 1. General Introduction. The Spirit of God, and the Word of God, and the Reason of God— Word of Reason, and Reason and Spirit of Word— Jesus Christ our Lord, namely, who is both the one and the other, — has determined for us, the disciples of the New Testament, a new form of prayer; for in this particular also it was needful that new wine should be laid up in new skins, and a new breadth be sewn to a new garment. Besides, whatever had been in bygone days, has either been quite changed, as circumcision; or else supplemented, as the rest of the Law; or else fulfilled, as Prophecy; or else perfected, as faith itself. For the new grace of God has renewed all things from carnal unto spiritual, by superinducing the Gospel, the obliterator of the whole ancient bygone system; in which our Lord Jesus Christ has been approved as the Spirit of God, and the Word of God, and the Reason of God: the Spirit, by which He was mighty; the Word, by which He taught; the Reason, by which He came. So the prayer composed by Christ has been composed of three parts. In speech, by which prayer is enunciated, in spirit, by which alone it prevails, even John had taught his disciples to pray, but all John's doings were laid as groundwork for Christ, until, when He had increased— just as the same John used to fore-announce that it was needful that He should increase and himself decrease John 3:30 — the whole work of the forerunner passed over, together with his spirit itself, unto the Lord. Therefore, after what form of words John taught to pray is not extant, because earthly things have given place to heavenly. He who is from the earth, says John, speaks earthly things; and He who is here from the heavens speaks those things which He has seen. John 3:31-32 And what is the Lord Christ's— as this method of praying is— that is not heavenly? And so, blessed brethren, let us consider His heavenly wisdom: first, touching the precept of praying secretly, whereby He exacted man's faith, that he should be confident that the sight and hearing of Almighty God are present beneath roofs, and extend even into the secret place; and required modesty in faith, that it should offer its religious homage to Him alone, whom it believed to see and to hear everywhere. Further, since wisdom succeeded in the following precept, let it in like manner appertain unto faith, and the modesty of faith, that we think not that the Lord must be approached with a train of words, who, we are certain, takes unsolicited foresight for His own. And yet that very brevity— and let this make for the third grade of wisdom— is supported on the substance of a great and blessed interpretation, and is as diffuse in meaning as it is compressed in words. For it has embraced not only the special duties of prayer, be it veneration of God or petition for man, but almost every dis[...]

Since when are Democrasses embarrassed to be thought of as homosexual?

And why isn't this kind of unwanted touching considered sexual assault?GOP lawmaker's 'I don't like men' comment stirs protest - Philly.comBy Marc LevyHARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) - An outspoken and conservative Pennsylvania state lawmaker has stirred calls to resign or be demoted after he interrupted a committee meeting to accost his Democratic counterpart for touching his arm and suggest the man might be gay.Hold it right there, commie pinko Philamortia (or is it Mortadelphia?) Inquirer stooge. You think homosexuality is a good thing, remember? Why would a left-fascist lawmaker be ashamed by a mere insinuation? He (and you) should be giddy to have someone think you are a sodomite. He will get more votes and you will get more readers. Or do you left-fascists secretly hate those who practice non-Euclidean sex, which is what you accuse your political enemies of doing?Democratic Gov. Tom Wolf on Wednesday called Rep. Daryl Metcalfe's comments offensive and discriminatory, and said it is "part of a disturbing pattern of behavior."Wolf is a dick.Wolf does not think Metcalfe should chair a committee that has authority over legislation to expand gay and transgender rights, his spokesman said.Wolf is a dick.House Speaker Mike Turzai, R-Allegheny, declined to discuss the issue Wednesday. Turzai, who is running to challenge Wolf's re-election bid next year, declined to discuss the subject Wednesday. The state Democratic Party called for Metcalfe to resign, while a gay and transgender rights group and a health care workers' labor union asked Turzai to strip Metcalfe of his committee chairmanship. Why? Are leftist homosexuals filled with self-loathing or are they only interested in political power?Metcalfe, R-Butler, chairs the State Government Committee, and his comments and committee meetings routinely stoke anger from Democrats. Democrats say he regularly shuts down their questions or comments and uses his committee as an ideological weapon. The hostility occasionally spills onto the House floor.I didn't know this was an editorial. In Tuesday's meeting on a bill about landlocked easements and roads, Metcalfe interrupted Democratic Rep. Matt Bradford - seated next to him - after Bradford placed his hand on Metcalfe's forearm while speaking."Representative Bradford, look, I'm a heterosexual, I have a wife, I love my wife, I don't like men, as you might, but stop touching me all the time," Metcalfe said. "It's like, keep your hands to yourself. Like, if you want to touch somebody, you have people on your side of the aisle that might like it, I don't."A visibly stunned Bradford laughed and said the meeting was "officially off the rails.""My intent was just to beg for your permission for about 30 seconds," Bradford said."Then beg," Metcalfe responded, "don't touch."Bradford - who has a wife and four children - later said he had simply sought to stop Metcalfe from interrupting him.WTF? A guy with a wife and kids can't be a homosexual? What a narrow-minded and provincial attitude. Hey, Levy! The 1950s called and they want their prejudices back!"The chairman can be volatile," Bradford, D-Montgomery, said. "I have strong views of my own, but I don't think that's an excuse to go into a diatribe. ... It's not isolated, it's not a singular incident, it's not because someone touched his arm."Metcalfe told The Philadelphia Inquirer that Bradford, for months, has been continually touching him and that he has asked him to stop."If someone touches another person, and they say, 'stop touching me,' and they don't stop, that's serious business," Metc[...]

HOLY CRAP! Nancy Pelosi turns heel! (Or took too many Ambiens.)

Common Ambien side effects may include:daytime drowsiness, dizziness, weakness, feeling "drugged" or light-headed;tired feeling, loss of coordination;stuffy nose, dry mouth, nose or throat irritation;nausea, constipation, diarrhea, upset stomach; or.headache, muscle pain.I doubt she's a pro wrestling fan, but you never know.First up, here's Jonah Goldberg before the harpy's about-face:Pelosi Displays Obvious Partisan Hypocrisy in Defending Franken, Conyers It's amazing how complicated simple principles can become when they're inconvenient to your team.On Sunday, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi created a mess for herself by insisting on NBC's "Meet the Press" that Rep. John Conyers deserves "due process" in the face of a series of accusations of improper conduct.Politically, Pelosi's performance was a gift to her many critics. For liberals who think she's passed her sell-by date as a Democratic leader, her hapless effort will now be Exhibit A in the brief against her, despite her subsequent efforts to clean up the mess. For populists on the left and right who think the political establishment is rigged to protect members of the club, Pelosi's effort to protect Conyers — and Sen. Al Franken, who has also been accused of several sexual transgressions — while at the same time insisting that we know all we need to know about President Trump and Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore is simply a naked partisan double standard."We are strengthened by due process," Pelosi insists when the topic is Conyers. But Moore is "a child molester."This raises the most dismaying gift that Pelosi lobbed to the mob. By circling the wagons around Conyers and Franken (and Bill Clinton to some extent), Pelosi is all but guaranteeing the election of Moore. It is difficult to exaggerate the anger among many Republicans who believe that liberals use the rules selectively, shamelessly invoking standards of conduct to delegitimize and destroy their enemies while exempting their own. "Zero tolerance" for thee, "it's complicated" for me.It was this belief — hardly unfounded — that let millions of Republicans dismiss allegations of sexual abuse against Trump and now Moore. Every day, conservatives angry at my opposition to Moore tell me "we" can't "unilaterally disarm." If they won't play by the rules, why should we?This isn't simply a Beltway game. Pelosi is a passionate supporter of Title IX regulations, which have been used to dismantle due process for sexual assault allegations on college campuses. When Education Secretary Betsy DeVos introduced reforms to Title IX, Pelosi denounced them as "outrageous, immoral attacks on Title IX protections" and a "shocking attack on women." Perhaps college students deserve at least as much due process as congressmen? But as someone who believes pretty much all the accusers so far, I'm not interested in pecking out another column on partisan hypocrisy. These days, that's the easiest column in the world to write.Instead, I'd like to point to a possible way out of this mess. The philosopher John Rawls famously offered a thought experiment he called the "original position." Imagine you are in some kind of limbo waiting to be born into our world. Hidden behind what he called a "veil of ignorance," you have no idea what "kind" of person you will be — female, male, gay, straight, sickly, healthy, smart, dumb, rich, poor, black, white, etc. What rules would you want for society? The point of this exercise is to make you think about w[...]

#MeToo: The end of the Fuckual (pronounced fuck-u-all) Revolution or just politics as usual?

For several generations we have been led to believe (admittedly by leftist assholes, for the most part) that only repressed Christians go around raping and assaulting women & kids because they believe they think they have the absolute right to do it...And then, suddenly, left-fascist sugar-daddy Harvey Weinstein was fair game. Did the fascist left grow a conscience and a spine simultaneously or are they just pulling a Stalin and eating their own to make way for a new generation of totalitarians? I'm not sure, but if my kids wanted to be actors or an actresses, I'd make sure they knew how to kill to protect themselves. That's actually good advice for all kiddies of all ages. Then Kevin Spacey admitted ass-raping a 14 year-old boy...CONGRATS SODOMITE AMERIKANS! YOU HAVE FINALLY MADE THE MAINSTREAM!...but he was drunk, so that makes it understandable. When will the nice homosexuals come out (sorry) in favor of a return to Prohibition and the death penalty for drug dealers? I can't wait.Of course, the professional sodomites were horrified - not because one of their own pulled a Sandusky on a little boy ("I'll bet he was sooooo cute!") but because La Spacey ('cuz he might only be a top when it comes to little boys) took the occasion of his kinda sorta confession to proclaim his enthusiasm for non-Euclidean sex. What a P.R. nightmare for Big Buggery! Yes, you heard it here last, kiddies: Kevin Spacey is "gay". Funny, but I seriously doubts he's at all happy.Of course, all this is speculation, just like the allegations against Roy Moore..."HOW DARE YOU! MORAL EQUIVALENCY? NEVER! AT LEST LEFT-RAPISTS ARE ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ISSUES!"Anyhoo, here is a partial list of the alleged pervs to date. I'm sure there will be more to come. (With apologies to Louis CK. Seriously, dude, female comics? Aren't they all lesbians? You'll know this shit has reached critical mass when some chick accuses Ellen of waving a strap-on at her.)...Some Guy from New Republic magazine (nobody knew that rag still existed, so he's probably safe & Michael Oreskes of NPR & Brett Ratner & Dustin Hoffman & Jeremy Piven & Charlie Sheen (maybe raped Corey Haim - I'll bet his reputation as an Ultra-Perv will let him skate) & Mariah Carey (eewwww!) harassed a male assistant & Jeffery Tambor (double eewwww!) & Louis CK (jerks off in front of comediennes)...I'll bet King Goober II, the "husband" of Distaff Clump, is damn glad he was impeached before Twitter became a thing or he might not have been able to rape all those fat white chicks with low self-esteem he "loves" so much. If you think left-fascist womyn will start attacking ol' Goober II and his "wife" the enabler...GUESS AGAIN! FASCISTS ONLY CARE ABOUT THEIR GOD, POWER.
