Heidi we would love to send you a sample of our baking flour blend. You can substitute it cup for cup in most any recipe and no one will know it is gluten free. Joyce

One of the first ready made breads we tried when 5 members of our family were diagnosed with Celiac was Betty's. Then we tried others mixes and ready made breads. None of them did we find worth eating. That is why in 2007 started our own gf baking mix company and launched our first product that makes great bread and also pizza crust. Let me know if you would like me to send you a sample of our bread and a sample of our gf baking flour blend.

Thanks for your comment! I do have a complete overhaul if this blog layout planned. My husband switched it up at my request and then it sort of dropped off the radar. I will move this up on the todo list, along with adding some current posts and recipes. Time for a cherry post since we are in cherry harvest.

Love the pictures especially the hens during winter. I have seven Rhode Island hens. They crawl into my car when I come home and think they should live in my kitchen.

Sorry to take so long, I thought I already responded. It's not worth the pain to eat gluten. When I first knew I had to go gluten free, I did think that I might do that to try something when traveling. Say a croissant in France for example. But I didn't and I won't for two reasons. 1. The longer you go without ingesting gluten the more painful it becomes when you do mistakenly eat some. 2. The damage that it does to your digestive system is bad and longer lasting than the pain you feel after eating something. Your entire gut becomes inflamed and this can affect other parts of your body too. I learned this the hard way recently after getting glutened several times while traveling.

I admire your persistence. You are not cheating you are being innovative. I use a cake mix for many things. Naomi Poe founder of Better Batter has hundreds of recipes using a mix. Her birthday cake rice crispy are great.
