Brown, at least for me, remains the greatest thinker of the 20th century. One critic said he was the heir to Blake and Nietzsche with which I wholeheartedly agree. From the first day I started reading Life Against Death in the early 1960s, I have never stopped rereading it; the same for Love's Body.

Brown's Resurrection chapter in Love's Body influenced me. My personal understanding is that 'Historical' faith needs to be uplifted to the 'Mystery' of faith. That needs to be treated as alive today. One's consciousness needs to be uplifted actively to realize the blood of Christ in the present, the 'now' in the 2nd coming, which is all within us.
