I buy it carryout from a restaurant up the street. They may use frozen, but they like to do a lot by scratch, so I doubt it. I've only used the TJ's frozen for tempura, and I can't recall if I tasted much flavor or not, hahaha.

Stel, sarap naman niyan, laluna at may almonds pa. Mai-try nga minsan, laging plain calamare lang ang naluluto ko meaning iyong breadcrumbs at egg lang ang halo (hehehe). Pwede ring i-substitute ang iba't ibang nuts para naman magkaroon ng crunchiness talaga. Tagal din akong di nakadalaw at itong PC monitor ko nagluluko, kabagu-bago, kainis.

hola hola JMom i saw Alton Brown make mahi mahi with macadamia then i saw this recipe....it went well i thought! once in a while lang deep fried dapat but it's so yummy... :fryingpan hi joey it sure was easy to eat, like popcorn! thanks for hopping by... cacofifi oo nga ang daming nag-hiatus at nag spring break heehee mga busy busy mommy mga amigas eh...but i'm glad you're posting again, we're so intrigued by Cuba! bawal bawal lang eh, but years ago we got a taste of some coffee via Quebec City! layo ano? keep on blogging... :wizard: ces!walang kapantay ang pusit ng Pinas, but in NYC Chinatown puwede na! sige na... :chef: MPSdear--is it like the frozen Trader Joe's you have in mind? i tried those at a party and no matter how much i ate there was no squid taste at all! sad... :melodramatic: it's well worth the frying and the washing up...thanks for visiting again! :highfive:
