Wow. That is unusual. We've been visiting Angkor Wat for years and never seen any deer round about. I can imagine it did cause a stir. Now, the monkeys on the other hand, they are permanent residents and we see them every time.

Was unable to open this site the last 2 days. Great to hear about the animal life at Angkor. I didn't see much except monkeys and one huge spider. Are you sure the deer was released into the wild and not eaten for dinner? Hope it survived!
