dewey--I feel better that we got the same answers!

jenclair--the best part is how most people think their books don't describe them at all. I've been laughing, too!

bookfool--I'd be happy with The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, too.

sfp--well, I only got Catch-22 the second time around, because I thought what I got the first time, Watership Down, was sort of embarrassing. Something about the rabbits just didn't work for me :)

I think being CATCH-22 would be cool. Being PRUFROCK on the other hand is downright embarrassing. I'm just too dreary and old to change it. . . ;)

I'm The Hitchhikers' Guide to the Galaxy. Very fitting, really, in many ways.

Ha, ha, ha! I'm as confused as all of you about my "book persona"--A Prayer for Owen Meaney--but I love reading about who all of you are and how you feel about it!

That's funny, because I took it and got this, and then retook it and got Watership Down. I guess we're twins!

stefanie--I think Siddhartha is a good one, too--I'd stick with it! I read Watership Down when I was too young to appreciate it, I think--maybe I should give it another go. But still don't think it's a window into my personality ;)

I'll stick with Siddhartha, whether or not it's actually true it's a pretty good book to be matched with. I've not read Catch-22 but I really liked Watership Down. Made me think of rabbits in a whole new way!

bellezza--well, the first time I got Watership Down, a book I didn't like, and I don't have furry feet either!

matt--I'm kind of the opposite of you--I liked Catch-22, but don't think it really describes me. But maybe I should ask my family if, in fact, it does describe me. Maybe I'm deluding myself.

j.s.--well, I never, either! That is highly unflattering, insulting, even!

my utopia--I think I'm going to take it again, too. It'll probably get worse and worse, but I'll get some laughs out of it!

LOL, that is great! I am going to go take the quiz again.

BIG "huh?" I was Love in the Time of Cholera. Not only did I not like this book, but its description of me was highly unflattering: "Like Odysseus in a work of Homer, you demonstrate undying loyalty by
sleeping with as many people as you possibly can."

Huff. Well, I never.

I'm tempted to try this again but, like litlove, I'm afraid I'll get something much worse, though I'm not sure how much worse it could get: sociopathic killer perhaps?

2007-07-16T07:20:00.000-07:00

Even though I don't like the book that I am, Brave New World, I thought it actually pretty accurately described me. Looks I'm in the minority here...

I've never read Catch 22 (Shame on me!) but I'd rather have those lovely accolades than what my book turned out to be: The Hobbit. Hey, I don't have furry feet! Among other things, like a Quest... :)

litlove--okay, this thing is a bust. All my favorite people are being mislabeled and misunderstood! It was a cute idea, but now I give it a thumbs down.

Oh definitely a 'huh?'. I was A Prayer for Owen Meaney, which makes me an annoying prophetic dwarf who SPEAKS LOUDLY ON PAPER. I don't dare do it again in case I end up with something worse...

I did it a couple of times, changing my answers, and both times it was 'huh?' so I gave up! :P
