Crews had the blaze 60 percent contained Thursday night, and police were on alert Friday to evacuate eastern Colfax if winds shift for the worst.
Wed, 23 Aug 2006 05:38:00 +0000WSU President V. Lane Rawlins announced his imminent retirement at the end of this academic year (May). Due to miscommunication with sources, WSU's newspaper, The Daily Evergreen, has had some difficulty clearly reporting the search process for Rawlins' replacement.
