Venom Saturday Night

Fri, 19 Jan 2007 05:22:00 +0000

Typically not a fan of the Venom crowd I have a feeling that could change. Saturday nights two of the hottest DJs in town will be spinning through the night. Hit it up to hear DJ Faz and DJ Brett Michaels.

Back on the Train – Or for this blog the Plane

Wed, 10 Jan 2007 17:54:00 +0000

It's true; I have been MIA for the past few months, but fear not because I'm back! Let's start with today. While traveling for work on business in Atlanta, GA I was lucky enough to fly 10 hours roundtrip for a six-hour meeting, stay at the Ritz Carlton and meet some of the Charlotte Hornets. Not a bad gig, by any means. However, the flight home is a whole different story.

Spotlight in Review

Fri, 10 Nov 2006 09:50:00 +0000

I'm not sure if this was one of the worst club openings or clubs I've been too. It's a toss up at this time. Other than the presence of ZipFizz and DJ Josh the place was a bust.

Grand Opening Not to Miss

On Thursday, Nov. 9 Seattle welcomes the club Spotlight to the downtown, Pioneer Square area. This Vegas style club features two floors, two styles of music and a variety of features to be discovered.

Eye Candy

Mon, 30 Oct 2006 10:49:00 +0000

It's not often that women head out on the town and aren't hit on for all the wrong reasons. I mean if you get a cocktail or two in most straight men you're doomed to fall prey to the bad pick up lines. What happen to the good old fashioned, "start a normal conversation?"

Pirates and Hoes Dance Party

Thu, 26 Oct 2006 04:59:00 +0000

It's that spooky time of year again when all of the goblins, ghosts, naughty cops and slutty costumes come out! Good times, good times! This year celebrate Halloween a little early at the War Room. Friday, Oct. 27 DJ Curtis, CHris Tremens, Julie Herrera and Wesley Holmes will be rocking the place out from 9PM to close. Cover is only $5 all night - that's cheaper than a cocktail!

Happy Hour with the Office

Mon, 23 Oct 2006 05:09:00 +0000

There's nothing like working in an environment where you like your colleagues. I mean these are the people you tend to spend the most time with; fortunately I'm very lucky in this aspect.

Go DEEP for your next party!

Mon, 16 Oct 2006 12:47:00 +0000

Friday, Oct. 13 some of Seattle's biggest socialites celebrated one of their owns birthday's. Sea Sound's VIP room (DEEP) was rented, the bartender, DJ and photographers were hand picked and the crews of people nothing but top notch.

Weekend in Review

Sun, 08 Oct 2006 16:49:00 +0000

Friday night one of my best friends started her new weekend job with Napkin Nights, a club/bar/event photography company. She had her schedule and we hit the ground running. To our surprise the Seattle Scene was quiet, unusually quiet. Amber was our first stop, one cocktail, pick up her business cards, take some photos and disappear to another hot spot, Sea Sound. Much more hopping with the glitzy, glitz of Seattle and a great atmosphere already going by 10PM. Our last and final stop of the evening was to be Last Supper Club (LSC).

Wednesday at the W

Fri, 29 Sep 2006 10:46:00 +0000

Looking for a hot spot? The W Hotel is the place to be on Wednesday nights. The DJs are awesome, mostly house music, the drinks top shelf and the patrons couldn't be more stylish. This week was no exception - with an Orthopedic Surgeon convention in town there was a plethora of good looking, smart, well dressed men perusing through the bar. My girlfriends definitely had a grand old time.

An Un-fashionable evening

Wed, 27 Sep 2006 11:22:00 +0000

It troubles me to say that one of my favorite bars in Seattle lacked its usual luster last evening. A group of friends and I attended a poorly planned fashion show at Amber. To our surprise it took an exceptionally long time to get drinks and there wasn't a lot of people there - it's faster to get them on a Friday or Saturday. We were disappointed in the service and lack of attention to customers. On nights they're hosting an event you think there would be more staff.

Two Hot (Hottie) DJs – This Friday

Tue, 26 Sep 2006 06:58:00 +0000

Who can resist two hot DJs playing hot music? Johnny Fever & Miguel Alvarado are ripping it up again this Friday, Sept. 29 at 10PM at Sea Sound Lounge. This is one of the hottest lounges in Seattle. Always classy, fun people with good cocktails.

Random night of bar hopping

Sun, 24 Sep 2006 07:39:00 +0000

After a busy week at work friends and I decided we were going to hit up several places for a few cocktails and some dancing. We began at Havana, which I've said before is fabulous! As we headed to the War Room we stopped by Manray to see one of my dearest friends and his friends. Manray was my favorite bar of the night!! The music good, the company friendly, maybe that's cause I was one of two girls in the place an I knew that I wasn't going to be hit on! Manray is one of the few bars in Seattle that carries Bombay (the original), which is my favorite gin. As we all bounced to the War Room for one of KiKi's famous parties we found that it wasn't busy and the music wasn't exactly what we were looking for. We made our way up to the upstairs deck and enjoyed the good company of each other. The night was winding down and we still needed to make a stop at Element, only because two of our friends were DJing that night and they're two (Miguel and Johnny Fever) of the best in town.

Observations in Belltown

Tue, 19 Sep 2006 06:19:00 +0000

Another weekend has come and gone and the Fall weather has come with it. This past Saturday proved to be full of fun and insight into the football season taking full swing and the weather turning chilly. The bars and clubs of Belltown were filled with WSU fans and the typical "Saturday Night" crowd.
