For the first time since moving to Arizona in 2003, the Rangers will not be opening their Cactus League schedule against the Royals. Instead the Rangers' first game will be on Saturday, Feb. 24 against the Cubs in Mesa. The Rangers' first game in Surprise will be Feb. 25 against the Rockies. The Rangers will have a day/night doubleheader against the Royals on March 17. The Rangers will finish their Spring Training schedule with two games against the Reds on March 26-27 in Arlington.
