568: Does your faith really benefit your life?

Wed, 18 Apr 2018 23:11:00 -0000

Today we hear a heartfelt message from Zig Ziglar on faith. But it’s not a sermon. He is hitting on the reality of how faith impacts our literal lives. From it I asked on Facebook, where you can join the discussion, just friend me at agentkmiller, this QUESTION: “How has your faith in God or a higher calling tangibly benefited your physical, financial or career/business success?” That’s a big question, and yes, it brought up some controversy. Some thinking I was pushing a prosperity gospel. But most shared events in their lives where their faith came into play and testimony to the blessings. Michelle Prince and I had a very open conversation, not giving answers, but discussing the real issues around our faith and how it relates to our daily realities and outcomes.

567: Eben Pagan - How to harness opportunity

Mon, 16 Apr 2018 14:24:37 -0000

We are talking about opportunity and having a conversation with Eben Pagan who just launched his new book, called…’Opportunity’! Eben Pagan is a guy I (Kevin) met twenty years ago amidst a new real estate marketing program. He was innovating then, and he still is today. He’s an entrepreneur and investor who has built over ten different online brands and businesses to the million dollar level. His businesses are all 100% virtual, with no office - for over 15 years now. Eben and his family spend more than six months per year traveling, and living the “virtual lifestyle.” In his new book, OPPORTUNITY, Eben explains how opportunity is changing, why it is increasing for all of us, and how to find and create more high quality opportunities for yourself and your business. The book is about how to find and create opportunities in your business and your life. It summarizes twenty years of mindsets, models, and methods for dealing with the explosion of opportunities that are coming our way in the future. Understanding opportunity is at the heart of succeeding as an entrepreneur. And Eben’s goal is to help people understand the nature of opportunity, so they can find, create and take advantage of a lot more of it in their lives. It was a great conversation and of course we started off by getting some of Eben’s background, including his hippie parents and living in poverty that motivated him to do more. The book just launched 4 days ago as of this podcast publishing date. Get it now, plus a bunch of add ons, at zigshow.com/eben

566: Do you go above and beyond?

Thu, 12 Apr 2018 14:57:29 -0000

We hear a classic message from Zig Ziglar on Priming The Pump. This message was foundational for Zig’s entire mission. If you’ve heard it once or ten times, you need to hear it again and then step back and audit yourself to gauge how well you are adhering to the principles! From the message, I asked on Facebook at my agentkmiller page where I invite you to friend me so you can join in this weekly conversation, “Will you share a story of doing more than what was required in a job and benefiting from it? Getting paid more, getting a promotion, getting a better opportunity?” Great, real life testimonials that Tom Ziglar himself and I talked through, SO inspiring!

565: Habits - Tom Ziglar’s fastest way to success

Mon, 09 Apr 2018 15:58:00 -0000

Today we go through the habits of, well, if Zig Ziglar is the king of successful habits, then Tom Ziglar is the crown prince. Tom is renowned for answering a candid question given to him on stage at a presentation of, “What is the fastest way to success”, with “Replace a bad habit with a good habit.” Straightforward and radically profound. So today we talk through the 7 spokes on the Ziglar wheel of life and hear Tom Ziglar’s daily habits for success. Such things as; he has reverted to a low carb diet and his first meal of the day is lunch. He commits to 7 hours of sleep per night and feels it is what fuels his willpower. He writes one sentence per day to his daughter, his reflections, that he will be giving her at Christmas as a gift. Every day starts off with two chairs, one for him, one for god, he talks to God for one minute and listen for four! Then he fills his mind with uplifting material (big surprise here, eh?!). Transformation is his word for the year.

564: Relationship building activities

Wed, 04 Apr 2018 09:00:00 -0000

Zig Ziglar on stage! This is a four minute clip around a personal story from Zig, on what creates strong relationships. From it I posted this question on Facebook, “What activities and experiences do you invest in for the health of the meaningful relationships in your life? This could be with your spouse, kids, friends, and family.” Don’t leave out the seemingly “little” day to day things.” Incredibly insightful comments and ideas you’ll get great value from hearing. Michelle Prince and I talked through them and now bring the conversation to you.

563: Tom Ziglar - How to transform yourself

Mon, 02 Apr 2018 09:00:00 -0000

A new message from Zig Ziglarsss - son! Tom Ziglar, CEO of Ziglar. It’s called the Trinity of Transformation. If you were just fine with your life as it is now and had no desire for any change, you wouldn’t be here listening now. We are all here because we want to be more, do more and have more. For ourselves and for others. Even if you have no personal desire for yourself and only want to help and serve others, you’ll get no further and be no help unless you better yourself. This requires...transformation. Here is who you are today, where do you want to be tomorrow? And that’s the point folks, anything you want to do and have first starts with who you are. You can’t do and have anything beyond who you are...and what you’re capable of. This is the root cause issue, and Tom brings us the 3 key ingredients he’s witnessed in his lifetime at the epicenter of personal development and human achievement. Zig Ziglar was the king and nobody saw him closer than Tom. This is powerful, equipping information.

562: Habits - Nick Vujicic dares you to write your dreams down

Wed, 28 Mar 2018 09:00:00 -0000

This is our habits show and we walk through the 7 spokes on The Ziglar Wheel of Life. Some highlights of Nick’s struggles and healthy habits: Physically he’s thankful for the holy spirit and caffeine! He only eats 2 meals per day, more veggies, but he’s an admitted carnivore. No sweets, bread or dairy. He and his family grow much of their food and live off their land. He had a pretty deep financial crisis and learned that just because you have a vision and resources from God, it doesn’t always mean you have to move forward right now. He has a 10 year plan that took him three hours to create, with help. And 3% of his life has to be a gamble! But he doesn’t invent, he innovates! It was rich, as you can tell. Nick has a new online course called “Rise Above” where he goes into further depth about how people can turn obstacles into opportunities and gives guidelines to overcome fear among other impactful topics.  The course gives people an opportunity to spend one-on-one time with Nick in their own home with over 3 hours of brand new content complete with workbooks and guided learning instruction. 561: Nick Vujicic - Is your limitation an opportunity?

Mon, 26 Mar 2018 09:00:00 -0000

A truly amazing, amazing man. We all come into or end up in this world with some challenges. Just because someone else’s challenges might seem bigger, it doesn’t negate our own. We all want to know how to deal with them better. With more joy, peace and success, right? Well, we have a guy who is flat out anointed in this area. Nick Vujicic was born with no arms and no legs. Stop and think about that for a minute. What could you do with no arms and no legs? What hope would you have. Yet Nick is one of the most sought after speakers on the planet, often getting 100 speaking requests per week. Literally. Why? Because he’s one of the most overcoming, inspirational people you will have ever heard. More than 10 million follow him on social media, and his Youtube videos have over 600 million views. But it’s real world stuff folks. He almost committed suicide. This isn’t some pollyanna face on hardship. I’d tell you more, but, trust me, you won’t want to miss this interview that Tom Ziglar and I had with Nick.

560: Feel the pain but don’t walk forward in it

Fri, 23 Mar 2018 09:00:00 -0000

Zig Ziglar talks about positive thinking. We play a clip where Zig dispels the motivational statement of “you cannot do anything with positive thinking,” and gives some funny examples to prove the point. But, he then comes back with the truth that “you can do everything better with positive thinking than you can with negative thinking,” and of course drives home a convicting message. From this I posted on my agentkmiller Facebook page, where you are welcome to friend me so you can join in the conversation, “How do you balance positive thinking and optimism with literal hard circumstances and allowing yourself to feel negative emotions?” We wanted to really hear, because we are human and even with the truth in our face, life can still be difficult, especially in a challenging moment. As you can imagine, really in depth answers that we bet you’ll resonate with. Michelle Prince and Kevin Miller talked through the comments for a rich conversation.

558: Stu McClaren - How to connect with your tribe

Mon, 19 Mar 2018 09:00:00 -0000

Stu McClaren is a primary mastermind behind connecting leaders with their audiences. Michael Hyatt has been wildly successful with his Platform University and Stu was his partner in creating it. Stu is about connection. Authentic connection. It’s hard to have a monopoly on any information and knowledge these days, but nothing can replace engagement and relationship. Stu coaches and consults New York Times best-selling authors, top-rated speakers, experts and niche celebrities on how to launch, grow and scale high-profit recurring revenue streams, primarily around profitable and fulfilling membership sites where the point is human connection and relationships. In the show we talk about Stu’s personal journey that brought him such huge success and why he’s now devoted himself in his work to helping people connect, and through that in his personal life, helping some of the least fortunate on earth, he and his wife build schools in Kenya. Stu is also the former founder of the world’s #1 membership platform for WordPress, WishList Member, where he had the chance to serve and support over 60,000+ online communities and membership sites.  Through that experience, he gained a unique insight into the subtle membership nuances that produce massive results. His new endeavor that you’ll hear about in the latter part of the show is TRIBE which you can find at zigshow.com/tribe

Fri, 09 Mar 2018 10:00:00 -0000

We listen to a presentation clip from our guide, Zig Ziglar. He’s talking about how to move from “reacting” to responding. From this, I posted on my facebook page at agentkmiller where so many of you keep friending me to join in the conversation, “What is something in your life that you used to “react” to, negatively, that now you are able to more positively “respond” to? For example, a relationship or circumstance (job, finances, handicap, etc.) that had a lot of negative control over your emotions.” You’ll be a bit surprised to hear some of the vulnerable things people shared, and Michelle Prince and I then talked through.

544 Habits - Mandy Harvey

Wed, 14 Feb 2018 09:00:00 -0000

We go behind the scenes with Mandy Harvey to hear her daily habits for success, following the 7 spokes in the Ziglar Wheel of Life. Please don’t miss our main interview with her in the last show, # 543. Some highlights coming up: To battle her connective tissue disorder and resulting bad joints and ligaments, she must work out 60 minutes per day to gain muscle. She travels so much right now she’s often only home 4 days a month, so she has to be ultra intentional in scheduling time with friends and family. She works on her music 40-70 hours per week. Her faith is the most important thing in her life but with her schedule and pace, she struggles to spend time in her bible and at church. The pace has often had her only sleeping 4 hours per night so she’s really had to dig into time management. Personally, she loves fishing and calls her family “grocery fishermen” because they fish to eat. Again, just super, super interesting and inspiring. Connect with Mandy at mandyharveymusic.com.

542: Are you doing the best job you can?

Fri, 09 Feb 2018 10:00:00 -0000

A two-minute clip from Zig Ziglar on the power of good relationships. He states that Relationships more important than anything else for your health, and of course vital for your success in life overall. From the clip, I asked this question on Facebook, “In your experience, what things hurt relationships most? We received over 70 comments, and this is just at my personal page at agentkmiller, not the Ziglar facebook page of 4.5 million. I categorized the responses into 11 headlines and Michelle Prince and I talked through them counting down to the number one thing people cited most. It was incredibly revealing.

Wed, 07 Feb 2018 09:00:00 -0000

We go behind the scenes with Skip Prichard after our main interview with him in show 540. We follow the spokes in the Ziglar Wheel of Life. Some highlights - Lifting weights makes Skip happy, he could do it all day long. But he also loves to eat, it’s his weakness. He’s a passionate believer in dark chocolate. He and his family all sing together and feel it’s a great stress reliever. Skip reads a book a day, but struggles to get adequate sleep. He likes Jim Rohr’s statement of working harder on self than the job, and admits making time for just himself is difficult. You will get much from this talk. 540: Skip Prichard - Make your future success

Mon, 05 Feb 2018 10:00:00 -0000

Today we talk with Skip Prichard, author of “The Book of Mistakes - 9 Secrets To Creating A Successful Future”. Skip is the former CEO of Ingram Content Group and Harvard Business Review labeled him as a rare social CEO and a “relentless giver.” But check this out...how Skip grew up is incredibly interesting. Both parents attended seminary. Told they could not have children, they were headed to the mission field in a Third World country. Skip's mom became pregnant, eventually having six children, so they made the mission their home. Taking in people who were abused and addicted, and Skip's fascination with success began. He was intrigued with...Why would one person succeed while another would fail? Wouldn’t you love to know the answer to that question?

539: What problem do you solve?

Fri, 02 Feb 2018 10:00:00 -0000

We are talking about serving others through Sales. If you have a product, service or idea, something that benefits people in any way, then you have a service to offer them, and there should be no sales pressure, only an appropriate desire to understand their need and discern if you really can help them. If you can help them, how do you effectively say so? The clip of Zig’s presentation is two minutes. To know how to serve someone, we need to be able to stand in their shoes and understand the problem they perceive. So, I posted on a question to my facebook page at agentkmiller.com, “What problem does your product, service or idea solve for people?” We got some great responses of course, some folks who laid out well the problem their products/service/idea solves, others who told us what their’s did and provided, but missed the problem perspective, and Michelle Prince and I offered some direction. If you’re a sales professional, business owner, entrepreneur, digital marketer, author, speaker, platform builder, or anyone who wants to build an audience, then you have to check out the all-new Secrets of Closing the Sale Master Class with Zig Ziglar and Kevin Harrington. 538: Habits - Mark Timm leading from humility

Wed, 31 Jan 2018 09:00:00 -0000

Today we talk with Mark Timm, Amazon rockstar and Executive Vice President of...Ziglar. We just had an incredible show with Mark and Kevin Harrington of Shark Tank fame on the new Secrets of Closing the Sale Masterclass, hear that in show 537 and get access at zigsecrets.com/enroll. In this show, we talk with Mark Timm on his habits for success. Mark was incredibly candid and openly shared his struggles in the 7 spokes of The Ziglar Wheel of Life, as well as the habits he employs for health. Some highlights: He’s learned not to go overboard with his tendency to be extreme with exercise and nutritional strategies, but focus on sustainability. He quit watching TV to better guard what went into his mind. He became a millionaire by age 30, then went a million in debt. It took him twice as long to pay back the million as it did to make the million. He learned the hard way that he must lead with humility, and he went deep into this issue.

537: Kevin Harrington - Secrets of Closing the Sale 2.0

Mon, 29 Jan 2018 14:10:00 -0000

This is a significant event. Zig Ziglar has influenced over 250 million people worldwide. His two best selling books are See You at the Top and Secrets of Closing the Sale. This second book on sales, in our interview with Seth Godin he says he listened to the recording over 70 times...he wore out the old cassette tapes and had to buy new ones. But the point is, as with all of Zig’s books, it wasn’t just about the topic on the front cover. It was about achieving a great life! In today’s show, I talk with two business superstars and I’m submitting you’ll hear the best sale ever - on sales. Zig has always claimed that we are all in sales. You can’t make any forward progress in life, in any area, unless you can sell someone on yourself. And in business, you won’t get anywhere without selling your skills, your product, your service or your idea. You’ll never get a date or get married without selling your value to another. You’ll never succeed as a parent if you can’t sell your kids on good choices. It’s about influence. Mark Timm is a wildly successful businessman with a company that is a top 100 Amazon reseller with over 59,000 products and growing. He’s executive VP of Ziglar, Inc and CEO of Ziglar Family. He’s partnered with Kevin Harrington, the guy who invented the infomercial and was one of the original four investors on Shark Tank, the guy with a net worth of 450 million dollars...to bring us Zig’s message from his foundational book, Secrets of Closing The Sale. Folks, it was an incredible look behind the scenes with these two guys and how they used Zig’s teaching to launch them not only into massive business success, but massive success in their lives overall. This one is a must listen.

536: Do you really have power to change your life?

Fri, 26 Jan 2018 13:37:18 -0000

Kevin Miller and Tom Ziglar cover the topic of, what power do we have to make things better in our lives, immediately? We listen to a 2 minute clip from Zig Ziglar where he deftly points out how we all understand there are things we can do, right now, to make our lives worse. But what we don’t often conceptualize near as much is, there are things we can also do, right now, to make our lives so much better. He tells it in a compelling way, of course. From the message we asked this question, “Your life is what it is today. What is a change you could make, pretty quickly, that you think would improve your life for the better? Any answer is relevant.” We got a great array of answers, from things people espoused were overall good habits, to people who had specific things they wanted to do to make their lives better, but were struggling to actually do. It was a very real conversation. Join us!

533: Howard Partridge - the vital power of community

Fri, 19 Jan 2018 10:00:00 -0000

We are talking about something that is just - vital. Community, and specifically, the power it has for our lives, and the handicap we all have without it. This is actually a special installment in place of our normal Q&A, but we recently had a chance to talk with Howard Partridge about his new book "The Power of Community - How Phenomenal Leaders Inspire Their Teams, WOW Their Customers and Make Bigger Profits.”  I just spent time in Nashville, TN with Howard and got a copy right from Howard’s hand. This is a timely, timely book. We are suffering as a culture by being uber connected digitally, but under connected personally with real relationships.  The book comes out Jan 25, 2018 but you can Pre-order now at http://www.howardpartridge.com/community. When I asked him what the catalyst was for his devotion to this topic, he cited it was church. And the LACK of real community and relationship there. Pretty interesting. If you don’t know Howard, he knocked it out of the park in business and is now  an international business coach with coaching members in over 100 industries in 9 countries. He is a best selling author of seven books and the exclusive business coach for the Zig Ziglar Corporation. Howard has a story, he grew up on welfare in Mobile Alabama and left home at 18. He arrived in Houston, Texas on a Greyhound bus with only 25 cents in his pocket. He started his first business out of the trunk of his car over 33 years ago and built it into a multi-million dollar enterprise. He has owned 9 small businesses altogether and owns 4 companies at the time of this recording. He is the proud president of Phenomenal Products, Inc. which helps leaders and business owners inspire their teams using the Power of Community.

532: Habits - Dave Ramsey still budgets

Wed, 17 Jan 2018 10:00:00 -0000

In this show we get into the personal life of Dave Ramsey. What are the daily, personal habits of America’s most trusted source on money?  Some interesting things you’ll hear, he and his wife Sharon get up at 4:45 every morning together to talk, pray and go go over plans for the day. She then works out at the gym while he uses his home gym and some running trails, he still spends time budgeting! Though it’s admittedly looking at bigger expenses and not the grocery budget. He mentors a group of local, young pastors. And he believes recreating is “re-creating” and devotes time to joys such as barefoot skiing at his lake house. It was a fun journey with Dave over the 7 spokes of the Ziglar Wheel of Life.

530: Let us not take for granted these three things

Fri, 12 Jan 2018 13:14:08 -0000

We are talking about upping your hope, joy, expectations and from that, your behavior and actions. How? By increasing your gratitude. Nothing has to change other than...your awareness of what is happening right in front of your eyes and giving it the value it deserves. We’re going to listen to a two-minute clip from the legend himself, Zig Ziglar. The message was from a presentation he called the “Oh Gosh! Attitude”. From that clip, I asked people at my agentkmiller Facebook page, where you are welcome to join if you want to join these discussions, “What is something you often take for granted that you should, in all truth, be wowed about?” I actually made the first comment to kick things off, and we got some really heartfelt comments that will make you think deeply. The vast majority of comments came under three main focal points? Think you know them??? Listen in. But we got a couple stand-alone comments on topics that were really profound. Michelle Prince and I talk through these.

Rich Roll is back with us to dig into his personal, daily habits of success following the 7 spokes of the Ziglar Wheel of Life. Some highlights: For a while, Rich journaled what he did over every 15 minute block to discover where he was wasting time in his life, so he could be more efficient. His morning time starting predawn he feels is his most creative time and sets the stage for the entire day. In his early days as a corporate lawyer he felt like an artist trapped in a lawyer’s body. He believes we are spiritual beings having a human experience and there is little in his life he gets more joy from than a bike ride. 528: Rich Roll - finding the ultra you

Mon, 08 Jan 2018 10:00:00 -0000

Rich Roll was near 40 and in horrific shape. He had a big awakening and transformed himself into not just a fit and well guy, but an elite, ultra endurance athlete. And from that, a guy who is massively inspiring hundreds of thousands of people. You may know Rich from his top ranked podcast, “The Rich Roll Podcast”. Rich is a world-renown, plant-based ultra-endurance athlete, in-demand public speaker, wellness advocate, bestselling author and inspirational hero to a global audience of wellness seekers as a transformative example of courageous and healthy living. The story is, after succumbing to the sedentary throes of overweight middle age, at age 40, Rich made a decision to overhaul his life, adopting a plant-based diet and reinventing himself as an ultra-distance endurance athlete. Just a few years later, Rich stunned the multisport community with top finishes at the Ultraman World Championships, a 320-mile, 3-day double ironman-distance triathlon widely considered one of the most grueling endurance events on the planet. Rich chronicles his journey in Finding Ultra: Rejecting Middle Age, Becoming One of the World’s Fittest Men, and Discovering Myself -- an inspirational memoir of plant-fueled athletic prowess which quickly became a #1 bestseller. In 2015, Rich and his vegan chef wife Julie Piatt released The Plantpower Way – a plant-based cookbook and lifestyle primer for the active modern family. The discussion was, well, Rich! I felt quite a kindred spirit in Rich, and from the authenticity he shares in the struggles he’s dealt with, I think you will too. 527: Is your reality real? I think not.

Fri, 05 Jan 2018 10:00:00 -0000

Your reality. Is it real? Or is it only as you perceive it and can you alter it - right now? Are you limiting yourself and merely need a paradigm shift to dramatically catapult your life for the better in a short amount of time? This is a continuation of show 524 where we listened to a clip from Zig Ziglar on our true potential. If you missed it, go listen to show 524. Today, coming from the same message from Zig, I asked on my agentkmiller Facebook page, “Do you believe reality is in fact, real? That it is concrete and black and white? Or do you believe “reality” is what we make of it?” The Facebook comments really brought up some interesting perspectives about this. Michelle Prince and I take you through them in hopes of helping you alter what you perceive as your reality. I will tell you, it helped us further change our own beliefs!

Lee spent 10 years as executive vice president of Disney where he was in charge of the entire magical kingdom, many resort properties, and 40,000 employees! He gave us a great message, don’t miss that interview. But today we walk through his habits for success, going over the 7 spokes in the Ziglar Wheel of Life. 525: Lee Cockerell - creating magic in your life

Mon, 01 Jan 2018 10:00:00 -0000

Imagine running Disney, numerous resorts, and 40,000 employees. Imagine barely making it out of high school, not having a college degree, having a hard upbringing with a mom who married and divorced five times. Being adopted twice. Having the only solid figure in your life being a grandmother who you were taken away from as a child. This is Lee Cockerell. In this candid interview he shares what helped him succeed, even as in his late 60s when his wife almost died, he suffered severe anxiety and depression. You do not expect the humility you will find here, from a guy who ran a small nation. You will be moved and motivated! Here is an interesting tidbit, in his book he talks about the value of staying in touch and accessible to people, and actually gives his personal phone number. Most people don’t believe it’s for real, but he gets calls! How cool is that? Get his four books, the online Time Management Course and subscribe to Lee’s “Creating Disney Magic” podcast at LeeCockerell.com

521: Natural potential needs unnatural work to bring to mastery

Fri, 22 Dec 2017 11:00:00 -0000

What is our potential? I think we’d all agree we have more in us. How much more? 5%? 30%? 70%? That answer is not as important as the reality that whatever potential we have, it will not add up to much if we don’t work hard at it. But in our natural skills, talents, and abilities, we find the potential for mastery. In areas we do not have many inherent giftings, it will be hard, if not impossible, to find that mastery. In this show, we listen to a short message from Zig Ziglar on finding your full potential. From what I asked my facebook page at ‘agentkmiller’, “What is a skill, ability, or talent you have, that you've worked hard to increase and grow?” The comments were significant and pointed to some truths about having potential, and clarified that they are near nothing until we grow and refine them.

Round two with Carrie Wilkerson, our esteemed guest in show 519 right before this one. She guards her sleep, especially before a speaking engagement. Financially she believes ‘upgrading’ is a disease we have to stop. She thinks multitasking is a myth and her personal vice is musicals. Wed, 13 Dec 2017 15:22:00 -0000

Here we bring you the successful habits of Michael Hyatt, our guest in the previous show #516 where we talked about making goals actually happen. My favorite line from Michael was about, “truly living the next 12 months, and not merely reliving the same year over again!” Don’t miss that show. But here we go behind the scenes to find out what Michael Hyatt’s daily habits are. One I was intrigued by was “Radical Margin”! You will get much from this show!

515: Great relationships come from intentional time

Fri, 08 Dec 2017 13:25:00 -0000

Today we are talking about marriage, and specifically, the intentional investments for the success we make in our marriages. We will listen to a short clip from Zig Ziglar on stage, talking about marriage. From his message we asked folks at my agentkmiller Facebook page, “If you’re Married, would you share - What intentional investments do you routinely make into your marriage that help strengthen it?” We received more responses than on any other question I believe and was such a rich, rich talk I had with my co-host Michelle Prince to discuss what everyone shared. If you are married or intend to be, hear what is working for people! A note, you will hear me reference a quote from Zig in the show, that afterwards I contacted his legendary assistant Laurie Magers about, and she got me the correct quote, here is what Zig said: “I’m personally convinced our divorce rate would be reduced 90 percent if men and women delivered in marriage what they sold while courting.” Powerful. Dr. Cloud is a New York Times bestselling author, and his books have sold over 14 million copies. His groundbreaking book “Boundaries -  When to Say Yes, How to Say No to Take Control of Your Life”, Has become a personal development classic, often sitting in the top 300 of overall books in Amazon, even after 25 years! 512: Changing jobs, careers and starting a business

Fri, 01 Dec 2017 09:00:00 -0000

A significant discussion for anyone desiring of, or contemplating a different job, career or business. My co host Michelle Prince and I asked this question on Facebook, “Is there a challenging area in your life where you are struggling to understand how you can change things for the better”. The responses were almost all around one issue, choosing and going after jobs, careers or businesses that are more fitting and rewarding. So we just made this the focus. If you are not in a job you love, if you are interested in going after self-employment, this show is power packed. The question came from a short message Zig Ziglar gave us, that I play at the top of the show. Thanks to BookBoundByTheSea.com and Ziglar On Demand for supporting this episode.

510: Michael Jr. - Be the punchline

Mon, 27 Nov 2017 09:00:00 -0000

A world class comedian who is not out to get laughs. He is out to “give people the opportunity to laugh” and help set the stage for meaningful, purposeful content of the heart and soul. His personal mission is to “comedically inspire people to walk in purpose”. He is accomplishing this in massive numbers while on stage with The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel, BET, Comedy Central, Oprah’s Super Soul Sunday and Tedx Talks. He will shortly be in a movie theater near you in a starring role for the feature film, “Selfie Dad”. Here is a novelty, he is a top ranked comedian who has no need or use for crude and vulgar jokes, imagine that. You will hear in the show how he views all of us, in living our lives, we are preparing and setting the stage. Why? For the punchline of our lives. The deliverable. Without that, it is simply a life of always preparing but never coming to the table with an offering. Nobody in The Ziglar audience desires this. So listen in to this interview and we believe you will be significantly inspired and empowered to do just that - Deliver. Connect with Michael at www.MichaelJR.com. 509: What helps people finally just do it?

Fri, 24 Nov 2017 09:00:00 -0000

We asked this question, “What caused you to finally start? You were going along, maybe had a wish or desire or need, but time went on and you did not act. Then finally, ___X___ happened and you started forward, took a step, leapt. What was the cause? Why did you finally go forward?” Of course we got a slew of great responses that my co-host Michelle Prince and I are about to share with you. Why? To help you in the next thing YOU want to truly get started on, but may feel hamstrung by something. A better explanation however, comes from Zig Ziglar himself, so we lead off with a two minute clip from him that will drive the message home. 507: Kevin Harrington - selling is building relationships with your audience

Mon, 20 Nov 2017 09:00:00 -0000

Kevin Harrington literally invented the infomercial, and was one of the original Shark Tank members on the hit ABC show. Kevin has launched over 20 businesses that have grown to over $100 million in sales each, has been involved in more than a dozen public companies, and has launched over 500 products generating more than $5 billion in sales worldwide   The guy knows business folks. In this show you will hear why Kevin credits Zig Ziglar’s book ‘Secrets of Closing the Sale’ as a primary tool that spawned his success. Why businesses need investment and capital now more than they used to, how audiences have shorter attention spans and want authenticity, why he considers us to be in a “gig economy” and an “idea economy”, how instead of employing people, he outsources much more these days and he wants to be known as the guy who helps others build their businesses. The dynamics involved in doing such a thing equate to someone with a profound experience and ability in things like overcoming fear and discomfort. Faith. Perseverance. Joy. And much more. 500: Q&A - What problem does your biz solve?

Fri, 03 Nov 2017 08:00:00 -0000

The question, "What problem do you help solve? If you have a business, product, service, message, what problem does it solve for an end user or recipient?” We posted this question on show host Kevin Miller’s Facebook page - agentkmiller - and received incredible responses. The question came from our interviews with Don Miller in show 498 where we discussed his book, ‘Story Brand’ - Clarify Your Message So Customers Will Listen. He took us through the structure our business message should follow - “A CHARACTER who wants something encounters a PROBLEM before they can get it. At the peak of their despair, a GUIDE steps into their lives, gives them a PLAN, and CALLS THEM TO ACTION. That action helps them avoid FAILURE and ends in a SUCCESS.” If you have a biz, product or service or hope to, I guaranteed you’ll get wise direction from this show. 498: WORK - Don Miller, how story is the key to your biz success

Mon, 30 Oct 2017 08:00:00 -0000

Here is my testimony to Don Miller; of books written in the last decade, I have heard more testimony of actual life change as a result of people reading Don’s book, ‘A Million Miles In A Thousand Years’, than any other book. Period. I have purchased three cases of the book and given them away. I attended Don’s Storyline conferences, as have much of my family and friends. Now Don has brought his expertise and insight on story to the business world with unprecedented acclaim. If you want a successful business and life, what you will hear in the following interview and in Don’s just released book, ‘Building a StoryBrand: Clarify Your Message So Customers Will Listen’, is a must read. Why? It flips our perspective of how to promote what we have to offer to the public. It’s not about your product or service, it is about the customer. Don takes us through the structure of a good storyline and how we can and must apply it to our offerings in this format - “A CHARACTER who wants something encounters a PROBLEM before they can get it. At the peak of their despair, a GUIDE steps into their lives gives them a PLAN and CALLS THEM TO ACTION. That action helps them avoid FAILURE and ends in a SUCCESS.” When you listen in, I predict two things - 1) you will realize you are violating some of these principles, and 2) you will have an aha moment you can take action on right away. You can connect with Don at storybrand.com. Thanks to EZ Metrics ezmetrics.info, Concur concur.com/ziglar and Smartbizloans dot com, promo code ZIGLAR for supporting this episode.

497: ZIGBOMB - Can you really do and be anything?

Fri, 27 Oct 2017 08:00:00 -0000

In today’s show, I posted this question on my Facebook page, “We can do and become anything we want to do and become. Do you agree?” The direct answer was almost unanimous, but the perspectives varied greatly. I feel there were three main takeaways - 1) the necessity to know yourself well, your gifts, talents, skills and abilities, 2) the reality that we are all pretty prone to limiting ourselves, and 3) anything worthwhile WILL be overwhelming and require more than we can offer solely in and of ourselves.

496: HABITS - Tom Bilyeu, do not be right, be a learner

Wed, 25 Oct 2017 08:00:00 -0000

Round two with Tom Bilyeu in the show everyone is already raving about…Habits. We take the 7 spokes on the Ziglar Wheel of Life and ask today’s biggest world influences, what their daily habits are in each of these areas.   If you didn’t catch the show prior to this one, episode 495 with Tom Bilyeu…gift yourself and go listen. It was one of more harder hitting shows on the nitty-gritty of walking out our personal development endeavors. The highlight for me was choosing to believe..it’s your fault. It’s all…my fault. Sounds terrible, doesn’t it. But it’s a massive freedom.   Connect with tom at impacttheory.com or just search Facebook, Instagram, YouTube or iTunes for Impact Theory.   In this show, you’ll hear how this legend in the wellness industry hates working out, how he had to stop working non stop for his marriage, how reading is his passion and road to self-improvement and why he loves playing video games with his wife!   If you get value, please leave a review in iTunes and tell us why so we can bring you more of the same!   And folks, while we keep this show free of any offending language, we don’t commit to this from all the content our guests put out.

495: MIND - Tom Bilyeu wants us to pull you out of the Matrix

Mon, 23 Oct 2017 08:00:00 -0000

Tom Bilyeu came on this show to help us develop an anti-fragile, unbeatable mindset.” He is the co-founder of 2014 Inc. 500 company Quest Nutrition — a unicorn startup valued at over $1 billion — and the co-founder and host of Impact Theory. Impact Theory is a first-of-its-kind company designed to facilitate global change through the incubation of mission-based businesses and the cultivation of empowering content. Every piece of content Impact Theory creates is meant to underscore the company mission to free people from The Matrix and help them unlock their true potential. Impact Theory exists to inspire the next generation of game-changing companies and creators that will make a true and lasting impact on the world. I really got interested in what Tom was doing after seeing a video of an interview he did with Simon Sinek on Millennial. The video went viral and helped bring a lot of people to Impact Theory. I’ve now watched countless interviews from Tom. If you find him on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook, you’ll see a hard-driving approach to personal development, no excuses and getting the most out of yourself. But in this interview, you’ll hear it comes from a challenging upbringing and a lot of compassion for our humanity. Tom talks at length about how average he is and had to work so hard at learning how to be more. How he built a billion-dollar company in the wellness industry but hates working out…even though he does it every day. You’ll also hear me tackle a controversial video he posted titled, “It’s all your fault” where he charges us to  take everything bad that’s ever happened to us and say, “It’s my fault.” Sound ridiculous? Listen in.  Connect with Tom at Impacttheory.com or just search Facebook, Instagram, YouTube or iTunes for Impact Theory. And folks, while we keep this show free of any offending language, we don’t commit to this from all the content our guests put out.  Thanks to Top Resume and ZipRecruiter for supporting this episode.

494: ZIGBOMB - Greg McKeown will see you at the top

Fri, 20 Oct 2017 08:00:00 -0000

In my interview with Greg McKeown, author of the book, “Essentialism”, he cited his fave Zig quote/concept was, “See You At The Top”, because 1) “There is always more room at top than the bottom" 2)“Life can be of ever increasing contribution" 3) “Our greatest contribution always lies ahead of us, not behind us.” From that I posted this question on my agentkmiller Facebook page: What role does "motivation" play in your real, day-to-day life? There is plenty of baggage associated with the word? I'm asking for some show content, so as always...looking for real feedback, not platitudes. Thank you! We got a wealth of responses that my cohost Michelle Prince and I covered…it was incredibly insightful into this world of personal development and motivation that admittedly has some differing perceptions and values to people. It ended up getting broken down into two parts, 1) motive as the core desire you have to pursue something, but then also 2) what you do to motivate yourself to take action when those times come and even though you want the achievement, you just don’t feel like doing the work. It made me really look at the topic differently. I expect it will for you too. Thanks to all of you who have been leaving new reviews in iTunes! That helps us get seen by more people. If you haven’t…will you?

For starters, he keeps a daily food journal, does a lot of trampolining with his kids, is intrigued by all that Jesus didn’t do, he fasts monthly and has compiled a journal of 10,000 items he’s grateful for. He was completely thoughtful, open and authentic. It was a tremendous joy and we shared some fun. I could tell you more, or dive in. Let’s go. He was completely thoughtful, open and authentic. It was a complete joy and we shared some fun. Thank you to Concur for supporting this episode.

492: MIND – Greg McKeown, the higher status of essentialism

Mon, 16 Oct 2017 08:00:00 -0000

Greg McKeown is the bestselling author of the book, “Essentialism” - The Disciplined Pursuit of Less. The term best seller is used a lot, so let us clarify this is the real deal. The book was published 3.5 years ago and as of this writing is ranked as the 1,289 bestselling book on Amazon. Overall. That’s a big, big deal. And now having studied the book, we know why. It’s a game changer. A life changer. As you will hear in this interview, it’s not about minimalism. It’s more about making the right and best decisions. Putting decisions to an extreme tests. Being in control. A great analogy that sets a good stage is, Greg says that in an emergency, “Everyone is an essentialist.” We get on task, on target, divest ourselves of non-necessities, and do what is most efficient, effective and successful. So can you really live every moment like that? Listen in and find out. Connect with Greg and his revolutionary work at http://gregmckeown.com. When you get value from the show, please, let us know by leaving a review in iTunes! Thank you to ZipRecruiter and Goddard School for supporting this episode.

491: ZIGBOMB – Jordan Harbinger on giving to get

Fri, 13 Oct 2017 08:00:00 -0000

Jordan Harbinger of The Art of Charm podcast and empire was on stage at a live event he was MCing in Las Vegas and he gave us his favorite Ziglar quote, and why. The quote? “You can have everything in life you want if you will help enough other people get what they want.” Then this is interesting, I had been taking our guests quotes and crafting a question around them and posting to the Ziglar Facebook page which has nearly 4.5 million fans. We get many, many comments. This time however, I posted to my personal page at agentkmiller. We’ve never gotten so many in depth, authentic comments. So much that it was really hard to filter through and decide what to bring you, as it was too much to share them all. On that note, you are welcome to friend me at agentkmiller on Facebook, as I’ll be posting a question around our guests’ ZigBomb every week. So what is the question I posted that provoked so many deep comments? I asked, “While the concept sounds all well and great, where have you had success or challenge in living this concept out? What concerns and/or feedback do you have regarding the statement? Be as raw and honest as you will.” And people were just that, raw and honest. I brought in my co-host Michelle Prince to talk through some of the comments. Thanks to Joey who just left a 5 star review in iTunes and testifying to Tom Ziglar, right after some grumpy soul left a stinger about Tom. If you want to show some support to the family and message of Ziglar, please help us by leaving a review in iTunes! Thanks to Goddard School for supporting this episode.

490: HABITS - Jordan Harbinger’s personal development highs and lows

Wed, 11 Oct 2017 08:00:00 -0000

You know Jordan Harbinger of The Art of Charm podcast fame and today he is back with us after our main interview in the last episode where we talked about social skills. In this show we are going behind the scenes with Jordan to look at his own personal development. Where is he strong, where is he week, what are his personal habits to help inspire HIS true performance? You will hear him talk about “leaving things better than you found it,” and being the guy people divulged personal things to, even if he wasn’t really wanting to hear it. He was very gifted in some social arenas as a kid, but clueless in others - like playing only boy playing a flute. He grew up as an only child and he has to remember he’s not the only person in the equation. It’s a great show folks. If you didn’t catch the first show, episode 489, make sure you get it, it’s truly significant. And if you get value, you know what to do, please leave a review in iTunes and let us know!

489: PERSONAL - Jordan Harbinger | Social Capital Necessities for Success

Mon, 09 Oct 2017 08:00:00 -0000

Back for his second time on this show, Jordan Harbinger, the rockstar podcast legend who hosts The Art of Charm podcast. Friends, “How to win friends and influence people” written by Dale Carnegie in 1936 is one of the all time business classics. You will find very few world leaders and influencers who don’t site it as a primary message that helped enable their success, just like Zig Ziglar’s “See You At The Top”. Jordan’s primary focus at The Art of Charm is social skills. Personal relationship skills. There is arguably NOTHING that impacts our lives for better or worse, than our social skills. Yet when and where are they taught? Nowhere unless you were fortunate enough to have parents like mine who had me read the book and took me to Carnegie Classes. In this show we drill down into the necessity and opportunity of social skills. There is nothing you have more control over, can take action on quicker and will produce greater results in your life. Period. Make sure you find Art of Charm where you listen to podcasts and subscribe, and you can check out all Jordan is doing at artofcharm.com. And when you get hit with a value bomb, please, let us know and give thanks to the Zig and the Ziglar Family by giving us a review in iTunes, it’s the best thing you can do for us. 488: Failure is an event, not a person

Fri, 06 Oct 2017 08:00:00 -0000

Chris cites “Failure is an event, not a person” as his most impacting quote from Zig Ziglar. That quote comes from a longer quote of Zig’s, “Failure is an event, not a person. Yesterday ended last night. Today is a brand new day, and it’s yours.” We took that quote, and Michelle Prince in a recent Facebook Live talk, asked the listeners this question, “Who of you listening have had a failure in your life that led to something great?” There were over 800 comments during her talk and we pulled a handful to discuss in today’s show. Thanks to Goddard School for supporting this episode.

487: HABITS – Chris Guillebeau’s personal development highs and lows

Wed, 04 Oct 2017 08:00:00 -0000

Chris Guillebeau leads and influences the world in nonconformity, travel hacking, business start up and now, the Side Hustle (his brand new book we dig into in show #486). But what about his own personal development story? In this show you’ll hear how Chris doesn’t like the term “balance”, he likes “alignment” and “seasonality”. Being grateful is a key goal for Chris. He worries about disappointing people and letting them down and is concerned about where he’s falling short. He’s not strong in details, follow up and building a company, but his strength is figuring out alternative ways of doing things and helping people fast track their process. His goals are not flexible, but the strategy or tactic are. He says, “I am a 100% introvert. My default mode is being by myself. I do events and look forward to them, but at the end of the night I need to go be by myself.” He talks about taking risks, but for him, only very calculated risks. Chris is as down to earth as they come and is all about practical, step by step application. 485: ZIGBOMB – Mark Sanborn on what goal setting does to you

Tue, 26 Sep 2017 08:00:00 -0000

In show 481 we talked with Mark Sanborn, author of The Potential Principal. We asked him what his favorite Zig quote and value was and he gave us this, - What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals. We then created a great, inspirational quote poster with that quote and posted it on the Ziglar Facebook page along with this question, If you understand the value of goals but have still not written them out for your life and desires, why? We got a lot of responses and picked out five we felt were highly relevant for everyone. Acclaimed Ziglar speaker Michelle Prince joins me to co-host a very real discussion on the struggles we all have with goals. Thanks to ZipRecruiter and Blue Apron for their support of this episode.

484: MIND - Joshua Spodek - Why doing the unnecessary gives you a success superpower

Tue, 19 Sep 2017 08:00:00 -0000

Joshua Spodek is a professor, astrophysicist, entrepreneur and about 20 other things. This profound conversation Kevin Miller and Tom Ziglar had with Joshua dissected a profound concept Joshua calls SIDCHA – Self-Imposed, Daily, Challenging, Healthy Activity. Ziglar fans have heard much about daily habits of success. But what came from this discussion was the healthy habit actions are far more valuable than the end result of that particular activity. We are talking about habits we do not HAVE to do. The daily habit of brushing your teeth, getting dressed, going to work, eating...those are have to habits. Healthy habits we do not have to do are things like morning devotions, exercise, journaling, working on improving a relationship. If we don’t do those things, generally nobody knows or cares and you do not have an immediate negative consequence. The power in doing those things is in choosing to do something you don’t have to do. Something challenging. Joshua’s new book, “Leadership Step by Step” – Become The Person Others Follow is unlike any other leadership book, as it doesn’t simply teach you leadership skills, it makes you take action and learn how to actually lead. Self-Imposed, Daily, Challenging, Healthy Activities. To grow into a leader, even if it’s simply learning to lead yourself!

483: Rabbi Evan Moffic – Ancient wisdom for happiness

Tue, 12 Sep 2017 08:00:00 -0000

Rabbi Evan Moffic became the youngest senior rabbi of a large synagogue in the United States, at the age of 31. He has just released his new book, “The Happiness Prayer” – Ancient Jewish Wisdom for the Best Way to Live Today. It is derived from a literal prayer recited and sung during Jewish worship, handed down from rabbis 2,000 years ago. What’s interesting is Rabbi Moffic showcases this “prayer” is just as relevant regardless of your faith, or if you even claim faith. Which in essence makes it as much cognitive training, as it might be a prayer. We dig into why “happiness” is such a big topic today and what causes our happiness to erode. The meat of the interview is in the latter half where we dissect the 10 point of structure that cause or hamper happiness. It’s not a formula per se, but it lists out the ingredients that make or break happiness in a format we can work through and address and apply in our own lives. 482: Getting past failure – a Q&A show

Tue, 05 Sep 2017 08:00:00 -0000

The favorite Zig quote from Christopher Lochhead, our guest in show 479, is this – “Make failure your teacher, not your undertaker.” We posted this on Facebook and asked for your feedback on failure; has it held you back, is it holding you back? We took five vulnerable comments and host Kevin Miller and co-host Michelle Prince walked through some of their personal experiences in their own lives, the lives of others and the principles of Zig Ziglar. You will no doubt relate and be empowered in this new episode format. Thanks to Bombfell (men’s clothing), Breather (meeting and office space) and Princess Cruise Lines for supporting this episode.

481: Mark Sanborn | Want hope? Just improve yourself

Tue, 29 Aug 2017 08:00:00 -0000

Mark Sanborn wrote the international bestseller, The Fred Factor. Now he brings us “The Potential Principal” – A proven system for closing the gap between how good you are and how good you could be. Let me tell you, this is not a ra-ra motivational speech on “we all have more potential”, nor is it an admonishment that you just need to do more, push harder and push out everything in life you enjoy to be a pure workhorse for achievement. It’s a real look at our opportunity to improve and the hope and joy that comes from it. And it’s a program to work through to effectively, efficiently and healthfully groom your own potential. As I am, and we at Ziglar are! More important than the quality of what you offer and even your brand, is understanding the category your business is in, and designing around it. 478: Find freedom from scarcity – Jack Alexander

Tue, 08 Aug 2017 08:00:00 -0000

Jack Alexander does NOT bring us a prosperity message in his brand new book, “The God Guarantee” - Finding Freedom from the Fear of Not Having Enough. But he showcases how most all of us have a scarcity mentality, whether we’re barely scraping by or we’re making millions. So how does God provide? How should we approach Him? Jack gives us some steps that he did not create. He simply takes them right out of one of the most popular stories in the Bible and it will absolutely change your paradigm, as it did mine! 477: How to gain trust

Tue, 01 Aug 2017 08:00:00 -0000

Zig teaches on a topic that I absolutely believe is more important than any topic covered in formal education. It should be a foundational topic BEFORE any other. What is it? It’s personal relationship skills. Folks there is nothing better you can do to better your life on ALL fronts, then learn how to better connect with people and gain their trust and interest. Nothing. And if you don’t know how to do that well, you are handicapping all your other efforts in the worst way possible. Zig is talking about sales. If you are new to Ziglar, then let me fill you in; we believe everyone is in sales. Actually, it’s more than a  belief, it’s a fact. So today’s message is highly relevant for all of us. If you have relationship with anyone on the earth, you need to know how to influence and care for them well. That is called sales. So whether you are actually involved in literal sales in your profession, or you are just a human, you are in sales. We listen to Zig then break down a few high points to help you apply the principles to your life, now! Thanks to Be Frugal, Princess Cruise Lines and Capterra for supporting this episode.

476: Should you be better than others? – Dr. Kristin Neff

Tue, 25 Jul 2017 08:00:00 -0000

Dr. Kristin Neff’s has a TED on self-compassion that has over 800k views. Kristin’s book is titled “Self Compassion”, The Proven Power of Being kind to yourself. You can find her at http://self-compassion.org/  What hooked us was her commentary on self-esteem. Zig Ziglar was the king of calling us to the necessity of a healthy self-image, but when Kristin divulged the research of how our culture has gone about achieving self-esteem at the sake of others and what it’s done to all of us, we were floored. Two big focal points you’ll get from this are in relation to, 1) how we tend to equate self-esteem with comparing to or being better than others, and 2) how our self-esteem is conditional. We have better self-esteem…if. This is an interview that will equip you to better address your own self-esteem in a healthy way and empower you to be and do what you need and want to do. Our point here is to bring you tools and resources to help you progress in your life, however, that looks for you. We want to eliminate the things that handicap and limit you. This issue today is huge. I watched Dr. Kristin Neff’s TED talk, then reviewed the book to pull out the big issues, and that is what Tom Ziglar and I discuss with her today. 475: Step out of the crowd and out of the norm

Tue, 18 Jul 2017 08:00:00 -0000

Zig Ziglar brings us a message on the opportunities we have and insight on the hard work and overcoming it will take. If you don’t want a normal life of mediocrity, you’ll have to step out of the crowd. And that…is hard. Harder than we realize, so we break it down today. If you believe you “get it”, of course doing something different is harder work, I’d encourage you to listen to the specific issues Zig brings us. We can better win the battle when we fully know who or what we are fighting! Thanks to HP, Freshbooks, and Capterra for supporting this episode.

474: How to make people feel appreciated with Dr. Paul White

Tue, 11 Jul 2017 08:00:00 -0000

Dr. Paul White helped Gary Chapman bring the profound message of “The Five Love Languages” into the workplace and it is powerful. More than money and promotions, people in the workplace want to feel appreciated. But many efforts to make people feel appreciated fall flat. Why? We all feel appreciated in different ways. Figure it out and you’ll be a master at giving people what they want most, and who benefits? They do…and you do too! 473: Alter your reality – Zig style

Tue, 04 Jul 2017 08:00:00 -0000

Mr. Zig Ziglar comes with a fairly brief message that has one point: making a dramatic turn around for the good when the circumstances are in the dump. He leads off with a personal story that hits the point home and leaves us fully empowered to radically change our prospects for success, right now, especially if you feel circumstances are set against you. We then take what Zig shares and show you how the crux of his message is the crux of what you and I accept as “reality”. It’s a shift that will decide if we stay in the norm, or not. I’m serious folks. It’s a simple shift that is possibly the hardest to actually make. Which is why the masses stay just that…the masses. If you wanted to be normal, you would not be here. Stick with us in this show and I guarantee we will either massively empower you, or cause you to accept that you do not want true, positive change in your life, and save you a lot of heartache and effort. 471: Do you have ability beyond your own needs?

Tue, 20 Jun 2017 08:00:00 -0000

Zig Ziglar comes to us on stage, with a compelling message on the power of reaching out to others, for two reasons. One, to go beyond just caring for yourself, so you can care for others. And two, what happens FOR you when you do so? One thing is…others reach out to help you. Zig references a charge given to him by a teacher and coach who influenced his life, and later became his father in law! The coach said, “Those of you who have an ability which goes beyond just providing for your own needs, have a responsibility AND opportunity to reach down and lift up those people who do not have that same ability and opportunity.” We have more and more people today who have great hearts, great things to offer, but they feel alone, isolated, unsupported and in many ways…stuck. If that is you, you’ll want to hear this. Or if you know someone else who may feel this way, send the show to them. Or maybe you are helping others and getting helped, this will inspire and confirm you and spur you to do more!

470: When love is not the answer – Dr. Emerson Eggerichs

Tue, 13 Jun 2017 08:00:00 -0000

Dr. Emerson Eggerichs has a life-changing message for men and women that will absolutely change your relationships. It’s so paradigm shifting and revelatory that men, yes men…want to talk to their significant other about it. We’ve painted relationships to be about “love”, only to discover that we are only speaking to one-half of the equation. Sounds odd, but the truth often is. This message will…alter your world. 469: If Zig could give you one piece of advice – this is it

Tue, 06 Jun 2017 08:00:00 -0000

Today we go short and sweet on Zig Ziglar’s #1 principle for success. You’ve heard it, but have you really H E A R D it?! Has it really taken root? Missing it would be like having a race car but missing the tires. This principle is the foundation for everything else Zig teaches, “You can have everything in life you want if you’ll help enough other people get what they want.” But let’s hear it from him, then dig in a bit.
