Announcement of the USDA Rural Utilities Services Community Connect Grant Program application period for Fiscal Year 2018 prior to the passage of final appropriations. The deadline for application submissions is May 14, 2018. The final total amount of funding available through the Community Connect program will be published on the USDA Rural Development website at a later date.

In order to allow applicants ample time to submit applications, the USDA Rural Business-Cooperative Service has issued this notice of funding available through the Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) prior to the passage of final appropriations. The two specific grant programs included in the announcement are: 1)Renewable Energy Systems and Energy Efficiency Improvements Assistance, and 2) Energy Audit and Renewable Energy Development Assistance Grants. Deadlines are included in this notice, based upon funding amount requested. The final total amount of funding available through the REAP program will be published on the USDA Rural Development website at a later date.
