News: USDA Invests $276 Million in Rural Electric Infrastructure

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced that they are investing $276 million in loans through the USDA Rural Development's Electric Program. These loans will be used to build new and improve upon old rural electric infrastructure and support smart grid technologies in Colorado, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Ohio, and Virginia.
