Man City 5-3 Chelsea: Ultimate Respect from City

Mon, 27 May 2013 09:06:28 +0000

17yr old Reuben Loftus-Cheek received the ultimate respect from Man City late on Saturday night in New York as he was cynically kicked out the game by Messrs Toure, Kompany and Barry. A groin injury forced the youngster off before half-time after he gave City’s international midfield the complete runaround.

Chelsea 3-4 Man City: Fatty Shuffles Wrong Pack

Fri, 24 May 2013 15:13:27 +0000

In the first of the two ‘waste of time’ post-season money spinning American friendlies in the impressive Busch Stadium of St Louis, home of MLB St Louis Cardinals, Chelsea contrived to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, conceding four goals in the final twenty nine minutes in the early hours of Friday morning, UK time.

Jose to Leave Real Madrid

Mon, 20 May 2013 18:40:06 +0000

In the last few minutes Real Madrid’s President Florentino Perez announced that Jose Mourinho will be leaving Real Madrid at the end of the season.

Chelsea 2-1 Everton: 23 Travel to America

Mon, 20 May 2013 18:10:48 +0000

A squad of 23 flew out of London this afternoon to America for the ‘promotional’ double-header against Man City in St Louis and New York. Money-spinner you mean?! Waste of time and this after a season lasting sixty-nine games… 69!!!! The owner and the board seriously couldn’t organise a p**s-up in a brewery.

Everton Preview: Last Day - Finally!!

Sun, 19 May 2013 07:44:20 +0000

Finally at last The Fat One is leaving. At a few minutes to six this evening the Fat One can pick up his hat and coat, board the bus from the Fulham Road and ride off into the sunset (via America). November seems a fair distance away now since The Fat One took over the job – the job he once said ‘He would never take,’ and now finally, the ‘hardcore’ can celebrate The Fat One’s departure and then sit back and wait for confirmation of ‘The Special One’s return.

Benfica 1-2 Chelsea: Super Frank Signs New Deal

Thu, 16 May 2013 17:05:01 +0000

Fresh from leading Chelsea to a historic victory in the Europa League final in Amsterdam last night – yep – historic – Cup Winners Cup Winners, Champions League winners, Europa League winners and not forgetting UEFA Super Cup winners, Chelsea announced this afternoon that Super 203 Goal Frankie Lampard has signed a one year extension on his contact that will keep him at Chelsea until the Summer 2014.

FA Youth Cup Final 2nd Leg v Norwich City LIVE from 7.45pm

Mon, 13 May 2013 15:26:29 +0000

After conceding a last second, last kick of the game penalty at Carrow Road two weeks ago, Chelsea have it all to do in their quest to retain the FA Youth Cup at Stamford Bridge later on this evening. THERE WILL BE LIVE UPDATES ON THE MESSAGE BOARD BELOW and TEAM NEWS WILL BE PUBLISHED AS SOON AS IT BECOMES AVAILABLE.

Aston Villa 1-2 Chelsea: 'Super 203 Goal Frankie Lampard'

Sun, 12 May 2013 16:33:16 +0000

A wonderful acheivement reached and breached at Villa Park yesterday as ‘Super 203 goal Frankie Lampard’ scored two second-half goals to equal and break Bobby Tambling’s long standing all-time goalscoring record. Not too shabby for a fat footballing midfielder signed from West Ham twelve years ago.

Aston Villa Preview: Will It Be Done Today?

Sat, 11 May 2013 08:21:17 +0000

Chelsea travel to Villa Park at lunchtime looking for the win that will secure Champions League football next season. Villa will be looking to secure their Premier League status albeit with a point or two . They are currently on 40 points, five points clear of the relegation trap door then they travel to Wigan next Sunday in the final game of the season.

Chelsea 2-2 Spurs: Says It All Really!

Thu, 09 May 2013 19:32:10 +0000

In ten days time Fatty will ‘interim’ us no longer. Get your coat and your hat and get out of the Cobham door via America. Sunday 19th May will be a day of ‘celebration’ knowing that fatty will ‘lead us’ no more. He is not us he is he – ex-Liverpool, a Chelsea hater ‘I will never take the Chelsea job.’ plastics flags, fans. I really don’t  need to remind you.

Tottenham Preview: A Must Win!!

Wed, 08 May 2013 04:19:42 +0000

Three points tonight and Chelsea’s place in next seasons Champions League will almost be cemented like slow drying filler, regardless of the results in our final two games, away to Villa then home to Everton. Goal difference could play a part in the final assessment  – As it stands at the moment – Chelsea +34, Arsenal +31, Tottenham +18.

Man Utd 0-1 Chelsea: Howard Webb Bites Back!

Mon, 06 May 2013 08:00:11 +0000

After the game I received a text simply saying ‘Howard Webb has lost his end of season bonus.’ For every onlooker and pundit it was too easy to jump on the anti-Luiz bandwagon, although it did concern me he was going to get into serious trouble after his volcanic explosion over a throw-in which earned him a yellow card three minutes earlier, when he and Rafael clashed in the corner at the Stretford End.

Man Utd Preview: Come On Chelsea

Sun, 05 May 2013 05:55:13 +0000

Ha. Still chuckling about Fatty’s Manager of the Month award and SAF being overlooked despite Man Utd winning their 20th League title and with the ‘curse’ that travels with the award, it’s sods law Chelsea have to travel to Old Trafford this afternoon at the start of another vital week.

Chelsea 3-1 FC Basel:Into the Europa League Final 5-2 on agg

Fri, 03 May 2013 18:12:45 +0000

A nine minute second-half cruise saw Chelsea overcome a 1-0 half-time deficit (late goals at important times are becoming back in vogue and with SAF time and Webb in charge on Sunday… who knows?!?) against a fearless FC Basel side at Stamford Bridge last night as Torres, Moses and a stunning  pearler from David Luiz splashed the cruise as Chelsea progressed to Amsterdam to face Benfica in the final of the Europa League.

FA Youth Cup Final 1st Leg v Norwich City LIVE from 7.45pm

Mon, 29 Apr 2013 16:37:06 +0000

The FA Youth Cup holders face a difficult 1st leg away at Norwich City later this evening in what could be the biggest crowd some of these boys have played in front of as 20,000 plus are expected at Carrow Road. The game kicks-off at 7.45pm and there will be LIVE updates on the board below and team news will be published as soon as it becomes available.

Chelsea 2-0 Swansea: Almost There Super Frank

Mon, 29 Apr 2013 04:26:31 +0000

Bobby Tambling, Chelsea’s all-time record goal scorer on 202 goals was in attendance at The Bridge yesterday and at half-time when he was presented to the faithful, he had witnessed Super ‘201 goal’ Frankie Lampard edge even closer to his long-standing goal-scoring record.

Swansea Preview: And What Do Points Make.....?

Sun, 28 Apr 2013 08:02:14 +0000

With one North London team dropping two points yesterday and the other North London team at home to the newly crowned Champions, Chelsea have a great chance of regaining third place with a win, only a win against Swansea City at The Bridge this afternoon but it doesn’t bode well where on many previous occasions, Chelsea have failed to capitalise on other teams misfortunes.

FC Basel 1-2 Chelsea: It's Now Chelsea's To Lose!

Fri, 26 Apr 2013 16:07:46 +0000

Zenit St Petersburg, Man Utd, Bayern Munich and Tottenham (after a penalty shoot-out), all illustrious names in European football, have succumbed to Basel in the St Jakob-Park in recent months and the expectant capacity crowd – lively, noisey and vociferious – were hoping Basel could add Chelsea to that list as they appeared in their first ever European semi-final.

Liverpool 2-2 Chelsea: Ain't No Friend of Ours!

Mon, 22 Apr 2013 17:32:33 +0000

Bite me, bite me. Last Sunday David Luiz endured a pair of studs down his back from Aguero, the ref did nothing, neither did The Sweet FA. Yesterday Sturridge went in on Bertrand’s ankle studs up, Friend and his mate (closest to the incident) did nothing. Suarez the cannibal, reprising the role of Hannibal, tried to take a chunk out of Ivanovic’s arm failing dismally.

Liverpool Preview: Please Leave Him There?!?!

Sun, 21 Apr 2013 09:14:48 +0000

Prepare for a red-hot rocking atmosphere this afternoon at Anfield on the scale of the night in 2005, the night of the ‘ghost’ goal…. Spooky. Wherever The Kops love-fest for Fatty stands on the love-fest scale they will make sure their voices are heard to the current Rodgers crop of Red as they attempt to put one over their former boss and fallen former idol, Fernando Torres.
