i use Venus Optics 'Laowa' 60mm f/2.8 2:1 Super Macro Manual Focus Lens with my Nikon d5300 and so far getting good results. 2.1 macro for £160 is not bad. but the fast and scared bugs, i will need a macro with more reach.

I use a Takumar 55/1.8 with extension rings on my D5200, that works quite well.

Reply to DOF... 24 megapixel on crop vs 24 megapixel on FF

I don't profess to understand any of this but was always led to believe that Fx had shallower depth of field than Dx, hence preferred by portrait photogs, a consequence of its larger sensor. Medium format cameras with even larger sensors have very shallow depth of field and camera phones have such small sensors that almost everything is in focus all of the time...

actually, you are not getting closer to anything with DX, it's just the angle of view that is narrower that gives the illusion that you are "zoomed-in".

Bonjour et bienvenue au groupe .
Macro est certainement une dépendance.
Attendez-vous à voir vos photos.
