Ecampus Graduation Travel Award

Ecampus students graduating spring, summer or fall term of 2010 who are planning on attending commencement on June 12 may be eligible for an Ecampus travel award. Up to $400 will be awarded to students traveling from outside Oregon, with up to $200 provided for students traveling in-state. (Travel from within a 30-mile radius of Corvallis does not qualify.) OSU Extended Campus is offering a psychology minor, one of 10 minors offered online. The program provides enrichment that will supplement any field of study, especially for those looking at careers that work closely with other people. Undergraduate psychology adviser Michael Crowley says a psychology minor will provide students an "increased understanding of mental processes and behavior which can apply to your professional, social and personal life."

Master of science degree now online

Master's degrees in science and math education are designed for students with academic backgrounds in sciences, mathematics, agriculture, environmental sciences, forestry, fisheries and wildlife, oceanography, and ecology. Audiences include science or mathematics teachers pursuing advanced knowledge in their profession, or people planning careers in museums, science centers, interpretive centers and other contexts.
