RealTime Board • Salary Cap Options

2018-01-21T12:57:42+00:00

Good day everyone;

My league is currently a salary cap league and we used rtsports salary cap figures for our players. We also use IDP which there are no figures for, will this be an option this year?

Also when trading I would like to see where a team can absorb a portion of the players salary when trading. Does this exist?

Cheers

RealTime Baseball • What's new in 2018 baseball

2018-01-11T16:20:15+00:00

Big League format is going to 12-team leagues. AL-only and NL-only will remain at 10.

Trading will be an option for Big League format. RTSports will approve/veto all trades, no league voting.

FAAB leagues will have a free-agent pickup period on Monday's from 7am-1pm (or start of 1st game of the week if it's before 1pm). This applies to Grand Slam, High Stakes, RTFBC formats (all other formats already had this). All picked up players will cost $1 against team's FAAB.

A new Draftmasters total points league style with bench players. Will be very much like football, where the system determines which of your players were best each week and puts them in your starting lineup. It will not be head-to-head, but total points for the season, with weekly lineups set by the system.

Strongly considering changing Triple Play format to 12-team leagues. Going with 10 for now, probably re-assess in February.

RTFBC is back for year 2 with it's unique scoring (OBP and Holds).

Slow drafts will continue to use some of the late enhancements from last year such as notifying team's up via text messaging as well as draft clock times of 2, 4, or 8 hours.

Enhanced ADP reports, distinguish between roto and total-points rules.

Ohtani - in managed leagues he will start out with P and OF/U eligibility. He can be either a pitcher or a hitter each week in you're lineup and will collect the corresponding stats for that position, but he cannot be played at both pitcher and hitter in a given week. In best-ball leagues (Draftmasters), he is designated as a pitcher and will only accumulate pitching stats.

RealTime Board • How to contact playoff league comissioner?

2018-01-08T23:27:43+00:00

I've receive no service/response to an email I sent rtsports Saturday. When selecting my team for the playoff challenge, I selected 3 active wild card te/wr players: Kelce/Woods/Thomas. I accidentally submitted my lineup with Gronk instead of Kelce...obviously not my intent. I realized it 1 minute after the Chiefs game start and emailed rtsports about the mistake. I would like our league commissioner to to consider resolving this obvious mistake. This is the reason, in my opinion, for league commissioners...to assess these types of matters.

Please help....thanks!

RealTime Baseball • 2 Catcher leagues?

2018-01-08T23:16:42+00:00

I never played in a 2-catcher league before. If you don't get an elite catcher, is it ever a good strategy to draft both catchers from a team that platoons them?

First under General Organization make sure you have decimal scoring set up.

Scoring - Combined Rules
CategoryCombined RuleModifiedAction
Total Combined Rushing And Receiving Yardage1 rule defined:
For position: QBs, RBs, WRs, TEs, Ks
-0.1 bonus point(s) each -1 total yards, starting with -1 yard(s).
0.1 bonus point(s) each 1 total yards, starting with 1 yard(s).

We use the combined rushing and receiving total yardage rules. I assume you can do the same with individual rushing & receiving rules.

I can start 3 WR’s this week, along with 2 RBs, and one of each: QB, TE, K, D/ST.

What do you think:

RYAN
NEWTON

GURLEY
FOURNETTE

J.JONES
M.THOMAS
____?_____

OLSEN

LAMBO

JAX

You have to start 1 of those 2 QB? If so, then Newton!

I like Gurley, Kamara, Freeman, Fournette! In that order!

I like Tyreek Hill, Woods from LA, & maybe the Panthers WR (Funchess) because they will have to throw a lot!

My kicker is the Chiefs kicker followed by Lutz from NO

Defense = Jags (they carried my ff team this yr & yes I drafted them)
After Jags I like Chiefs!

The TE has to be Kelce from KC followed by Delanie Walker!

Commissioner's Corner • Playoff League - Yards Scoring

2018-01-06T16:23:52+00:00

I am a playoff fantasy football commissioner on RTSports and am trying to create the scoring settings. If I want 0.1 points per yard rushing or 1 point for 10 yards rushing - how do I input in scorring settings? I initially tried to enter 0.1 point per yard, but the site said my numeric value was incorrect.

Currently, I have 1 point for 10 yards, starting with 1 yard input. But I am afraid this will not give fractional points and only 1 point when you reach 10 yards instead of fractional points equaling 1 point per 10 yards.

Help!

THanks,
Greg
