Bus Riders Should Prepare for Detours During Dallas YMCA Turkey Trot on Thursday, November 23, 2017

On Thursday, November 23, the 2017 Dallas YMCA Turkey Trot will place a number of bus routes on detour. The race begins at 9 a.m. Bus routes affected include: 1, 2, 11, 12, 19, 21, 26, 29, 35, 42, 52, 59, 60, 76, 110, 111, 161, 164, D-Link (722) and 749. The Trinity Railway Express (TRE) will not operate on Thanksgiving Day. Thanks for riding DART.



Thanksgiving schedule for DART and TRE

It may seem like it was just yesterday that you were carving pumpkins and taking selfies, but Thanksgiving 2017 is one week away! If your holiday plans include taking Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) or the Trinity Railway Express (TRE) be aware that schedule changes start Thurs., Nov. 23, and continue until regular scheduled transit service resumes Sat., Nov. 25. DART buses and light rail trains will operate on a Sunday schedule Thurs., Nov. 23, and a Saturday schedule Fri., Nov. 24. The TRE will not operate on Thanksgiving Day and will operate Saturday service on Friday. More holiday schedule information is available at www.DART.org/RiderAlerts



Start Date Change: Second Construction Phase to Close Down APT Service In Irving, Effective Monday, November 20, 2017

With construction resuming on the Las Colinas Area's Personal Transit System (APT), service will again be provided by DART shuttle buses, this time for an estimated five weeks beginning Monday, Nov. 20, 2017. Note: due to the Thanksgiving holiday, the shuttle will not operate Thursday, Nov. 23 or Friday, Nov. 24. As during the initial shutdown earlier this year, buses will serve the Orange Line's Las Colinas Urban Center Station and operate in a counter-clockwise loop over Lake Carolyn Parkway, Riverside, Las Colinas Boulevard and O'Connor Boulevard. Hours of operation will be 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekdays. Frequency will be approximately 15-20 minutes. The shuttle, like the APT, will remain free to customers.



Spring Valley Customers Could Encounter Delays During Street's Upgrade, Effective Monday, May 15, 2017

Customers should expect bus stop adjustments and possible delays on Route 463 along Spring Valley Road between Coit and Weatherred. The City of Richardson, Dallas County, and contractors are working on improving street pavements, curbs, approaches and sidewalks. Construction is set to begin May 15, 2017, and continue through the end of this year. The project will be in various phases and some bus stops may be adjusted, depending on sidewalks and street conditions along this corridor. There will be no alignment or schedule changes to routes 360, 451 and 463.
