Please the css removed the button that said check for existing request in the form page which i wanted, but then the page i placed [wsdesk_support display=check_request] is no longer showing users already submitted tickets, why?

my intention was to remove the link that says check existing request from the form but i will output the result in a separate page which will show only submitted tickets

Hi Predrag @wpmudev-support1,

I have similar situation as quikleo, I pasted your code into the custom CSS section under “appearance” but it didn’t seem to remove the close “X” I then installed the Simple Custom CSS plugin and pasted the custom code into it with no luck. Sorry, I’m really new to this, but any idea what I could be doing wrong?

Unless you provide some details, no one can help you. I use it all the time and email redirect does indeed work correctly.

That is very old. Can you upgrade to 4.9?

Is this issue resolved, or did you abandon the question? Your About page has been removed or been renamed.

We would rather avoid adding more WP plugins at this time, and have instead switched onto non-FA font based buttons for now.

Thank you for your assistance.

No, the original site must be up and running.
You must put the live URL in the URL field, even if you do the import in local.

Reply To: Installing Donate Button Code

Thank you Steve. I’ve used Chrome Developer Tools to inspect the button code and have replaced the broken code you pointed out with code for a DONATE button taken off the Internet. It works fine. Of course in Chrome DevTools I can’t save the replacement as edits there are temporary. So here’s my continuing problem, I can’t locate the index file that Chrome DevTools indicates the button code and third-party payment code resides in. I’ve looked through many many of the likely files from my website’s theme file editor and can’t locate this section of code. How can I find the index file I need?
