A new Corona

Thu, 22 Jun 2017 21:40:04 +0000

The day has arrived: Corona Enterprise is now free too! Now it is just one Corona. Integrating with native C/C++/Objective-C/Swift/Java code is now available to everyone. Sat, 05 Sep 2015 16:47:50 +0000

Thanks to hackers from around the world, this site was hacked and code was injected into the blogging system. Spams were sent from my server and I finally found the source of the problem. ZeroBrane Studio updated to 0.90

Mon, 10 Nov 2014 19:43:34 +0000

The excellent ZeroBrane Studio for Lua development has been updated to 0.90, download it here or check out the source code at github. This open source and free IDE is the best I’ve used for Lua / Corona SDK development. Support from the developer is also quick and excellent. What else can one ask for? … Continue reading ZeroBrane Studio updated to 0.90

EventDispatcher update

Sat, 04 Oct 2014 04:32:59 +0000

Just a quick post that EventDispatcher has been updated with new features including new methods on(), emit(), once() that are similar to Node, a new method removeAllListeners(), and a debug function printListeners(). The on() and emit() methods are actually aliases to the addEventListener() and dispatchEvent() methods. Chris Byerley (aka develephant) who developed and … Continue reading EventDispatcher update

ZeroBrane Studio

Fri, 12 Sep 2014 23:52:48 +0000

For Lua development, whether it is for plain Lua or platforms such as Corona SDK, ZeroBrane Studio is an excellent open-source IDE (written in Lua) for Windows, Mac OS and Linux. I still use Sublime Text with the Corona Editor plugin but ZeroBrane Studio is my first choice for Lua development. This IDE is updated … Continue reading ZeroBrane Studio
