Comment on Getting Australia Online? MYOB Atlas is not the answer by Jodie Miners

Hi Oscar, looking at your website, you probably need a simple landing page, rather than a full website. I notice you already have an About.me page for the film. I would recommend going premium on that to add the domain to the About me page. It is $4/month. Other than that, choose a nice design on Wordpress.com and create a simple and basic website, and add the domain to that for $13/year.

This is grand, thanks Jodie. Needs one of you brainy types to explain this clearly, which you've done very well! I'm your classic Gmail user who's not aware of half of the features and probably uses about 5% of its capabilities. I am keeping this aside to study further and may have more qus!!

Can anyone help me, I have set up a website www.clarathefilm.com.au and I need to edit the home page. Editing the top half (button) works ok, however the bottom half will accept the edit changes but the save button will not work. I have tried many times, contacting any help is impossible, I guess 'what you pay for is what you get' - rubbish. Please help, if not with this problem, please advise how I can delete the lot and start with WordPress.com

Thanks for your reply. I hope that this issue is resolved over on you post on the Comalatech forums. I will be using this product again in a few weeks and if it is not up to scratch, I will definitely be getting in touch with the Comalatech team.

There is also the Confluence PlantUML Plugin which can create Graphviz diagrams.

Jodie, I must be crazy, but this is the second place I've seen you mention that Version 4 will update the Confluence WorkBox.... whaaaat? I have been using Confluence 5.2.1 and Ad hoc Workflows 4.1 and have never seen Ad hoc Workflows update the Confluence WorkBox when a task is assigned... ever.

Hi, I haven't yet had the time to work it out for Confluence 5, but funnily enough, I don't need to. Just yesterday I found this app on the Atlassian Marketplace that looks like it will do the job. Explainer for Confluence. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/1211100

You may want to add LiquidPlanner (www.liquidplanner.com) to the list. I have used it for a number of project and find it very useful for projects that have a highly dynamic schedule. I also like that it has a realistic approach to task duration estimate by allowing a range of time rather than a single point to be entered. The scheduling engine automatically uses the range estimate in conjunction with resource availability to determine when the project will be completed.
