Andrew, Very nice textbook examination. Math can be so confusing, and that can be compounded for students by an instruction manuel that is beyond their reading abilities. I like the dark grey backround. Did all of the Math people get together and choose to use it? If not, what are the odds that all the math people did use the dark grey backround without consulting with each other? Steve

Nice podcast. I never really thought of how hard it is to write a textbook considering all the factors that you mentioned. I think it's important to keep in mind the readability level as you're writing, so you can effectively teach across a broad range of reading levels.
