From Medic Loretta: anyway once a person becomes infected, Herpes ...

Thu, 11 Jun 2009 06:31:51 +0000

anyway once a person becomes infected, Herpes Simplex Virus lies dormant in the body, waiting for just the right conditions to become active again. There can be many triggers which activate the virus, such as eating arginine-rich foods (like chocolate, cola, beer, seeds and nuts); the onset of a cold or fever; sunburn; the menses cycle & any physical or emotional event that introduces stress to the body. Each person's triggers are different, but all herpes sufferers have one thing in common--worrying about the next outbreak adds even more stress, which just feeds the vicious cycle and makes it worse! And there is no real treatment that can cure herpes, but antiviral medications can shorten and prevent outbreaks during the period of time the person takes the medication. For example Herpeset is a good (probably the best) product. It works by stimulating your immune system to fight the HSV virus. It worked and is working for me! I do not know if any pharmacies carry Herpeset but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here . In addition, daily suppressive therapy for symptomatic herpes can reduce transmission to partners...! since 2005 I got 5 outbreaks! every outbreak every ~6 months. every spring and every autumn! that was very hard time for me! then I started to use the proper diet for me and some herbal treatment and listen "Bobby McFerrin - Don't Worry Be Happy" . Now I don't have any outbreaks for about ~2 years! good luck! Working in women's health + personal experience

From Martie: I got diagnosed with the herpes simplex virus ...

Fri, 01 May 2015 17:42:38 +0000

I got diagnosed with the herpes simplex virus (type 2) about 5 years back, when I was still in college and had a stupid one-night stand. I understand a lot of young ladies will say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a huge mistake that one time and all of a sudden I felt like I was going to have to live with the consequences for my entire life. The hardest part was feeling I could never date guys again. In the end, who wants to go out with a girl that has sores around her you-know-what? But since a friend shared this video everything changed. Not only was I able to eradicate all traces of the herpes simplex virus from my system in less than 3 weeks, but I was also able to begin dating once more. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so blessed to write that just last week, in front of everyone in a crowded cafe, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!! This method gave me back the chance to be happy and experience true love. Now I want to enable you too by sharing this with the World.

If your having sex with your boy friend the you most likely got it from him. You could have gotten herpes from a past partner too. You should tell him so he can get tested too. He could have herpes and not even know it. You don't have to tell your parents if ou don't want to. You have the right to tell who ever you want but it may feel a little less like you're hiding some thing from your parents if you do tell them. I'm older then you are but I have herpes too and told my parents about it last year. They still love and accept me. It's not the easiest thing to deal with but you should tell your boy friend at least. Here is a site that can help.

Sorry for your recent finding. Were you diagnosed by a doctor. If so, they should be able to help you with some options to deal with the herpes. It is devastating, but its not the end of the world. I got herpes back in college over 20+ yrs ago and I'm still enjoying life ans sex. First of all, your 18 so you don't have to tell your parents, unless you begin taking medication and their insurance is paying for it. You need to talk with your boyfriend. He may be where you contracted your herpes. For me, it was a girlfirend at the time. She had contracted it from a previous boyfirend. There are medications you can take to reduce the outbreaks and the severity of the outbreaks, but there is no cure.
