I am absolutely terrified and I feel so alone. I just found out last week that I tested positive for hsv1 and 2. I have been with the same man for the past 10 years and within the last year found out that he has cheated on me with numerous women. I am so scared that I can give it to my children by kissing them and them eating with me...I feel like my whole life has changed. And even though the nurses, my doctor, and websites say that a lot of people have it I still feel like I am by myself. My self esteem has dropped and I feel like I have been used up. But now, My life is very happy. Fast Acting Guaranteed Herpes Treatment?

Herpes doesn't kill you. It doesn't disfigure you, and it doesn't lead to other diseases. It doesn't shorten your life or affect your fertility. In fact, in most people, it causes no symptoms at all. While it can be emotionally devestating, physically it is usually just not a huge deal. And occular herpes is quite rare - particularly since the herpes virus is SO common. 50% to 80% of adults have herpes - and most have symptoms so mild that they don't realize that they have it. The herpes virus dies very quickly away from the human body. It is almost always spread through direct contact with a sore - or a contagious body part. It's a good reason not to share a bottle of soda with someone, or a sex toy. but after a few minutes (at most) the virus is dead. Of all the STDs to be afraid of, this really isn't a major one.

Herpes is spread through contact with bodily fluids and mucuous membranes. Usually the mouth and genitals. A cold sore comes from the herpes virus, which is why you should never drink from the same glass as anyone else. The cold sore herpes can be transmitted to the genital area through oral sex. If someone touches part of the body with a herpes breakout, and then touches anything that will come in contact with any of your mucuous membranes, you probably will contract herpes.
