Pop: LET IT BE ME - cover by Lagusaya2

Wed, 07 Dec 2016 18:37:00 -0500

(image) I visited Ken Lee in Godmanchester (near Cambridge, UK) a few days ago. We had a week of fun singing and composing. Among the pieces we recorded was this cover by the Everlys.

The great backing was done by Ken.

Hope you like it!

New Age: Violet Reign by Paigan0

Wed, 07 Dec 2016 17:30:15 -0500

(image) If Prince met Pachelbel, and Canon in D was smashed with Purple Rain, you'd get this totally original piece called "Violet Reign," featuring the chords Bflat sus 2, Gminor7, F, and Eflat, and little else in common with either song. Piano, strings and bass. Stephen Sink and Paigan Productions.

Rock: Tomorrow Never Comes by ConcordiaDiscors

Wed, 07 Dec 2016 13:23:39 -0500

This is a rather old song, written whole six years from now, back when we used to work on music as a duo. For some reason, it took us this long to record it.

Artyom created melody and lyrics for this one, I provided the arrangement and recorded the instruments. We both sing on it.

I hope this song sounds good to you people, 'cause I've spent waaay too much time mixing and mastering it to be able to tell myself.

However I got distracted and made something completely different
Like the other song I am releasing today definitely brings out my poppier melodic side
Hope people feel like bopping to it!

Rock: Korea makes nice guitars by irok

Tue, 06 Dec 2016 17:23:27 -0500

(image) 120 BPM i really like the sound of this new guitar, it was hard getting this down cause the action was way to high for my play, but i gave it a go and this is it, it's like when you get new toys you can't wait to play.... I'm getting my hex keys home tomorrow and then i'll adjust the heck out of it.
Ehm i only had 013 strings + high action and 013 is serious wire.. i took the challenge... in regular tuning haha

vocals, keys and other stuff are welcome as add-ons, enjoy (image)

The guitar may be from the mid 1980's, it's a Pacer (not Kramer) from the Cort or Samick factory which made the amazing JV & A series of Squier Strat models back then.. No wear or tear on the frets or fretboard and it may be because the strings are so dang high nobody had wanted to play it, it's awesome (image)

*Posting here because NOBODY looks at the Collab Forum. (image)
I replaced lead (I don't like), with Square Tremolo synth which is what I totally want to change (i.e., this is where you come in).
I am open to any lead instrument, even a vocal w/your lyrics. Also open to changing tempo, possibly style.
Message me if interested. I can send you the file w/o this downloadable reference lead.
Bass progression: F-C-D-F-Bb-F-C-F-C-D-Bb-F-C-F-Bb-F-C-F
Currently: 110bpm

(image) A person I know broke up; it was a bad one; and I wrote this song. The two things may or may not be related.
More interesting might be the intro. It's a phrase I ripped off from the oldest piece music known to mankind, recreated with original instruments. This phrase kept coming back as a refrain so I thought, "that must be the oldest story in music, How appropriate that I appropriate it for the oldest story that keeps repeating itself. So, here it is!"

(image) "Of all the endless variety of phenomena which nature presents to our senses, there is none that fills our minds with greater wonder than that inconceivably complex movement which, in its entirety, we designate as human life; Its mysterious origin is veiled in the forever impenetrable mist of the past, its character is rendered incomprehensible by its infinite intricacy, and its destination is hidden in the unfathomable depths of the future. Whence does it come? What is it? Whither does it tend? are the great questions which the sages of all times have endeavored to answer."

This one here is one of my favorites. It features a good friend of mine that also appeared on another song I've uploaded called Peach Tree. Most of the songs featuring him were the result of too much Jager, which I can't even drink anymore. It's really takes me back to listen to all these old songs I made all them years ago. I still have many more I plan on uploading so be sure and check in every Monday!
