Minaret of Masjid al-Nabawi, Madinah, Saudi Arabia

Last three weeks I was at Saudi Arabia with my father. I had got chance to visit Mecca and Madinah, the two holy places for Muslims.

Its being nearly a month from my last post. While I was at Saudi, flickr was blocked. When I came back to Cochin on last Thursday was blocked. :D
Thank god! now I can access both.

I don't have a wide angle lens. So this photo is taken in two shorts and merged.

Boring days after my classes (just finished my B. Tech Degree... still exams results are not out) made me to read this book. Usually I don't read any books, except for the text books and that too just before exams. Anyways I liked this book 'Catch Me If You Can' by Frank W. Abagnale

From my oldest collection, this is the picture of boat jetty at Periyar Tiger Reserve,Kerala, from where cruise to watch elephants and other wild animals starts...

Panorama: Cochin Bay

This one is a little lengthy (thats why very small thumbnail). Click on the thumbnail to Zoom.

Taken from Vyppin Boat ferry. You can see Marine Drive, Cochin Port Trust(Big building with Red Roof right in the middle of the photo), and right to it Hotel Taj Malabar. This panorama is composed of 12 snaps, taken without a tripod. Because of that I got a slant picture and had to crop lot of things to make it look good. :( hmmm.... one day I will buy a tripod.

This panorama is composed of 4 shots. You can see the Periyar Hydel Power Plant down in the middle. This is the power plant that takes water from the controversial Mullaperiyar Water Reservoir.
