Presidential Villa and the Strange Curses (1)

Thu, 20 Oct 2016 08:18:51 -0500

First of all, to try to understand what is happening there, you must ask these questions: what is the foundation of the place? Who built the structures? What kind of sacrifice was made and still being made at the place? Who are those that visit or work in the place? And who are the opponents, forces against the occupant of the seat?? When you put all these answers together then, you will come to the conclusion that is normal for the place to be having a high-level spiritual conflagration that with be emitting those terrible curses these men have enumerated. Or how do you think the devils will be gathering and there won't be such demonic emissions? Is it possible! The place is spiritually 'overheated' and there must be toxics, releases and reactions. These write-ups reminded me of my contribution ''Nigeria: Rumbling in the Spirit' in 2010, about the plans to poison then President. The action and reactions of this was also well capture in my book Power of Midnight Prayer (Pages 162-170,, 2012). There is truly constant spiritual, diabolical plans against those in authority and where they seat.

The Media: Does The Mainstream Media Use Repetition To Control People?

Fri, 14 Oct 2016 14:04:24 -0500

In the past, one would have watched TV, listened to the radio or read a paper if they wanted to find out what was taking place in the world. Nowadays, this is no longer necessary, and this is because they can simply go online.

Has Derren Brown Turned Evangelical or Was It Just a Theatrical Stunt?

Thu, 13 Oct 2016 08:34:34 -0500

The recent Derren Brown show on TV has made me wonder if there was a hidden agenda. It was more like a Billy Graham meeting by the time it ended. A bizarre mixture of mind reading glass crunching and healing. It was entertaining as always and it certainly appeared to help many members of the audience cure their aches and pains, but it was certainly different. No doubt if you missed it it will be available on "catch up".

Sitting Out The Anthem Isn't Unpatriotic

Wed, 12 Oct 2016 13:28:04 -0500

Standing for the American national anthem used to be as automatic as breathing. That's changing now because of the stance initially taken by San Francisco 49ers' quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

How, in These Times, Can Social Justice Ever Prevail?

Mon, 10 Oct 2016 15:14:34 -0500

While it is becoming increasingly difficult to navigate the sense of faith in the current social justice upheaval, faith is the only common denominator that liberates us from the current social injustice that we are seeing, daily, on our television screens and sometimes in our very own streets. Why are we in this situation?

Help Stop Racial Profiling and Move America Forward Together

The Importance of Law Enforcement in Our Society

Thu, 06 Oct 2016 14:14:15 -0500

Without proper law enforcement, the rule of the law would mean nothing. There would be no one to protect you from harm and violence.

Something Is Fishy With All These Stupid Little Terrorist Attacks

Thu, 06 Oct 2016 07:07:35 -0500

In 2016 there were some wannabe terrorist style attacks - your basic YouTube instructional "Pressure Cooker Bomb" copy-cat inspired Islamic Jihadi nonsense. Turns out, the wannabe terrorist ended up dying in a gun-fight with police, family members fled to Afghanistan just a few days before - convenient. Still, all-in-all the NYC bombings were mere mischief with bad intent, hardly worthy of the 24/7 cable news coverage - almost as if a 'purposeful event' to distract us from something else. Like what you ask?

Lori's Heart

Wed, 28 Sep 2016 13:22:24 -0500

It's coming up on the first anniversary of Lori's passing. I'll never forget the last time I saw her, two years ago, and what she did before hundreds of onlookers...

Finding Peace and Our Purpose in Life

Tue, 27 Sep 2016 13:18:48 -0500

What has happened to the world today, wars consume and destroy large sections of our planet, whilst in the west we hurry and scurry, no time for cooking nutritious food and time to eat it. People are getting more and more stressed, working to buy more labour-saving devices! The internet is creating cyber bullying, children worry about exams, farmers worry about their livestock and livelihood, others just worry. Too many are overwhelmed and committing suicide. It seems we have all forgotten how to love and care about the well-being of others. How can we reverse this trend?

What You Don't Know About Dog Bites Might Come Back to Bite You

Tue, 20 Sep 2016 14:00:43 -0500

Dog bite attacks number over one-third of all claims filed each year by homeowners. Since there are no nationwide laws for dog bite attacks, it sometimes leads to a lot of confusion as there may be a lot of conflicting parts to an ordinance for dog bite attacks that has to be proven.

The Left Insists That Anyone Who Does Not Agree Must Be A Racist

Sun, 11 Sep 2016 09:35:57 -0500

News Flash: Just because someone disagrees with your faulty logic, failed programs or socialist agenda, doesn't make them a racist. The reality is that much of the left's name-calling is in complete hypocrisy. You see, under the Democrat leadership under Barack Obama, the former community protest organizer and now president, has set race-relations back generations due to race-baiting and purporting victimhood for anyone other than white. That may help get votes but it does a terrible disservice to a nation which is supposed to be all-inclusive and was on its way to finally realizing that strategic goal. America does not need more of the same from these current trends of divisiveness, nor does the name-calling foster a positive future towards our goals - America needs a change, not a continuation of a political dynasty, intent on the ultimate power and going global.

As Autumn Winds Blow

Thu, 08 Sep 2016 07:51:04 -0500

Seasons come and go but it is always at this time of year when the sun sets a little earlier those gentle summer breezes always fade away. As Autumn winds replace that summer breeze there is always a sadness that overcomes the soul. I have always noticed that at this time of year memories of past summers have always brought me to tears.

American Freedoms In The Hands Of Buffoons

Thu, 08 Sep 2016 07:31:12 -0500

Pictures of people stomping on the American flag and athletes sitting out the national anthem have been an increasingly frequent part of news reports lately. Many of us are unhappy with this. Here I tell you why I am not happy and never will be with such acts of protest. Yes, it's a free country, but why use your freedom to be stupid so freely?

My Heart Will Go On And On

Tue, 23 Aug 2016 15:12:09 -0500

After a day of giving psychic and mediumistic readings, it's nice to relax with an avocado smoothie (great for the heart), and a Nora Roberts novel. My friend Rochelle's face popped into my mind...

Are Terrorists Using Arson to Attack Us?

Thu, 18 Aug 2016 06:28:23 -0500

Who is causing these terrible fires in California (Summer of 2016)? Occam's Razor would suggest it is mentally problematic arsonists and a string of copy cats with the same 'love of fire' or need to project themselves and cause harm to all of us. Nevertheless, what if it were an act of terrorism? After all, these terrible wildfires do indeed terrorize us all. Each time we turn on the TV set and see people evacuating in fear from their homes, wondering if they will still be there when they return - it makes us all think about our own vulnerabilities. What if, international terrorists were starting these fires?

Why I Purposefully Lied To A CNN Pollster Who Asked About My Voting Preferences

Thu, 18 Aug 2016 06:27:36 -0500

Well, what do you know? I finally got a chance to get back at the leftist media today during this final home stretch to the 2016 Presidential Election. You see, I know that CNN has been lying and manipulating our society to the leftist agenda for years. So when they ask me who I would vote for, I just acted like a brain-dead CNN left-leaning viewer mirror and repeated back to them the same sort of rhetoric they air on Cable TV. I told them that I thought Hillary was qualified, but I didn't say for what - my thinking was to go to prison.

Tell Your Stories

Tue, 16 Aug 2016 13:05:25 -0500

The only one thing more important than knowing who we are: Being aware of where we came from. I realized that recently, when I was giving messages from spirit as part of the holiday service at our Spiritualist church. As I said a quick, silent prayer for guidance, I felt the presence of a grandmotherly energy who wanted to speak.

Americans Should Be Allowed To Have Guns To Protect Themselves - But Why?

Mon, 15 Aug 2016 06:45:59 -0500

Not long ago, there were a string of home burglaries near me, just down the street in fact. On one occasion, the police were called, they caught one of the burglars cuffed and stuffed him in the car, then started looking for the next two who were also reported in cahoots. A neighbor had called and the police responded quickly, but the home backed up to the golf course so of course, the suspects fled making it hard to catch them. Turns out the burglar they caught broke out of the police car and took off running too, thus, they had no suspects - so much for good police procedures.

Tue, 09 Aug 2016 12:35:22 -0500

This article is regarding the jury duty service, a duty that currently no other country, except for the US and the UK, poses to its citizens. Other countries saw the need to abolish it (or they never had it) partly because of the unreasonable burden jury duty poses on jurors.

When Disaster Strikes, Not Everyone Is Surprised - Message to Humans Doomed to Repeat

Fri, 05 Aug 2016 06:32:44 -0500

Message to Humans Doomed to Repeat, don't be so duped by politicians, or leadership who says; "no one saw this coming" after a terrible disaster, usually they are just covering up bad judgement and inept decision making - often conclusions which came out of a bureaucratic group think committee. No one wants to own up to their disregard for Murphy's Law, Physics, Probability, or those who recommended against it. Our think tank over the years, has studied disasters of all types, natural and man-made, most of the deaths were preventable and most of the real problems were predicted and forewarned. Let's talk.

Think Tanks Only Work When People Are Allowed To Think and Have Credible Things to Say

Thu, 04 Aug 2016 06:51:51 -0500

There are lots of Think Tanks in the World, some say too many, others say not enough - those who say too many can't keep track of them all or they are policy planners and don't like dissenting opinions. Those who say there aren't enough realize that the world has so many problems there is just too much work to do and not enough people deployed to do them. Then there are people like me who note that there are too many politically motivated thinking groups who have agendas and use their influence to grease the skids for their dictatorial policy direction. Yes, let's talk shall we?

Superdelegates Of The Big Socialist Government Party - The Democrats Of America

Mon, 01 Aug 2016 07:02:07 -0500

Just how bad is it for Bernie Sanders' supporters? Well, in this historic election, both sides saying it's most likely the most important election of our time, it seems the Democrat Party claims to want to do the right thing. No, not right now - rather, next time. Yes, how convenient indeed. Does that sound fair to you after all this email scandal and censoring of the Bernie Sanders' supporters? It sure doesn't seem right to me, and mind you, I am not a Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders voter, but I know a bad deal when I see one and I can see someone is getting the shaft for political expediency of crushing one opponent for another. Let me explain.

The Mob Justice Mentality

Tue, 26 Jul 2016 15:05:07 -0500

How does mob justice happen? You may question yourself. You are in a busy street going about your daily activity. You hear a shrilly sound from most probably a lady and a heavy commotion follows shortly. There is tension in the air. You turn back to see what is happening only to find a group of three or more roughing up a young man. Your curiosity makes you to get closer to witness the scene. By the time you arrive the number of people have increased, the young man is already drowning into his pool of blood and the people around him are using any available objects to hit him. You come across a young lady and panic is written all over her face and she can't force back her tears. The atmosphere forces you to ask her what is going on. She struggles to speak but after gaining composure she tells you that the young man being beaten thoroughly had tried to snatch her mobile phone and after screaming people came from nowhere and cornered the man who was trying to run for his life.

The Brighter Side of Slum Life

Tue, 26 Jul 2016 09:54:47 -0500

I appreciate most of the Government's efforts to upgrade the slums into modern houses but as long as the slums do exist in this modern world, we should understand that a lot of positive energy always goes on in these areas. Ambition, hard work, resilience, patience and sheer determination can be best illustrated when you visit any slum across the world.

Full Court Press - The Media Mess

Mon, 25 Jul 2016 09:38:55 -0500

Journalists are expected to honor a creed that has long been recognized by their industry and respected by Americans. They are charged with the responsibility of accurately and concisely presenting the facts of affairs both foreign and domestic to their citizens. There was an understanding that they stood as the guards at the gates of our freedom by virtue of their accuracy and lack of bias in their presentation. So long as they honored this duty Americans were able to make clear choices about events that affect their future, safety and security. They earned the respect that was afforded to them through their integrity. Something has happened; the effects of this present dangerous consequences to the very fabric of the American people.

Unmasking the African Abstentions

Thu, 21 Jul 2016 13:16:45 -0500

Irked by the violence especially silent deaths against the LGBT community around the world, the United Nations Human Rights Council decided to appoint an independent watchdog to focus on the investigations of violence against people strictly on grounds of sexual orientation. The tenure of this investigator is for three years. No African country voted in favour of this appointment with them either voting against it or abstaining totally.

The Need to Save a Life

Thu, 21 Jul 2016 13:03:09 -0500

Why Nigerians Need a Female President

Wed, 20 Jul 2016 13:16:54 -0500

Nigerians should start to think of having a female president for our country in the nearest future. This is because from all indices, which are available to the public, it seems our male leaders have failed the country. Nigeria, with an estimated population of 180million people, spread across 35 states and Abuja and 774 local government areas, is a big attraction to local and foreign investors.

Crystal Blue Persuasion - When the Law Walks

Tue, 19 Jul 2016 14:41:10 -0500

'Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness... ' Inalienable rights of the American citizen detuned in the Declaration of Independence. Entrenched it is in the memory of impossible dreams that became a reality as a fledging, cold and ill equipped army stood with God and faced the most powerful military force on the planet, and won. It was the humble beginning of the city on the hill whose beckoning light would shine for more than 240 years, penetrating the darkness of humanity through the will, strength and faith of her people. This is America... the champion, the defender, the caregiver to those who cannot see the light. God's hands reach out through the touch of America; it is the land of the free, the hope of humanity, still. Liberty is precious and walks hand in hand with law enforcement.

The Great Shame Game

Thu, 30 Jun 2016 15:25:49 -0500

A rather novel game has been steadily growing in popularity recently; not a new game but one that has been transformed from its ugly roots of bullying into something chic and alluring to many. It's called the 'Great Shame Game,' now carefully shrouded under a veil of superiority and intrigue. The game comes complete with a label maker allowing the players to easily assign a brand to identify their opponents, lest they forget why they have been deemed unacceptable.

Does The Brexit Vote Send A Message To Large Bureaucratic Socialist Style Government Power?

Fri, 24 Jun 2016 06:22:35 -0500

When the British voted to leave the European Union it shouldn't have surprised anyone, but it surely did. The media pundits were shocked, the international community was shocked, our Obama Administration was shocked, everyone was blown away - still, I ask why? Obviously, there is incredible discontent amongst EU members. And the Eurozone is in big trouble with the PIIGS - Portugal, Italy, Ireland, Greece and Spain in financial and economic turmoil and Germany a little miffed at trying to keep the whole thing going while socialist government live high on the hog. Many have previously stated that the EU is a slow motion train wreck, it was doomed from the beginning, or it cannot survive without more power at the ECB.

Tue, 21 Jun 2016 08:22:25 -0500

When it comes to the mainstream media, there are a lot of people who believe that its sole purpose is to inform people about what is taking place in the world. Through having this outlook, one will be only too happy to accept just about everything they hear.

Ted's Music

Fri, 17 Jun 2016 15:18:23 -0500

I got to know Ted through the Genesee Chorale which he founded as well as conducted for many years. I also played with him in the Batavia Recorder Society which met monthly. We played ancient and Renaissance music for recorder and other instruments such as the rackett, shaum, crumhorn and drums.

The Bard, The Ballplayer And A Guy Called Pluto

Tue, 07 Jun 2016 06:20:38 -0500

Franklin Roosevelt was a communications genius. While broadcasting to the nation, he made listeners believe he was speaking directly to them, which is why his talks were called "fireside chats." We all sat staring at the radio in the same manner people today stare at their 65 inch, high-def television screens. Back then all you needed was a little imagination and you got the picture. Today you get the picture but it usually lacks imagination.

The Media: Do The Events That The Media Cover Happen Randomly?

Mon, 06 Jun 2016 06:43:35 -0500

If one was to pick up a paper or to go onto a news website, for instance, it wouldn't take them long to come across something negative. It could be said that this is partly because bad things happen in the world, and partly because the mainstream media generally focus on what is wrong as opposed to what is right about the world.

Guns and Drones

Mon, 23 May 2016 07:52:58 -0500

It's a horrible thought that someone can use a drone with a gun attached to shoot someone and yet that is exactly what was shown on a news broadcast in Australia on May 22nd 2016. Drones are already in use as weapons to target people for assassination in war zones. Is it a good thing that this can be done or have we are passed a point of no return and before long terrorists will use such mechanisms to kill anyone in any place once they get their hands on them?

Is the Constitution Dead for US Citizens Labeled As a Sex Offender?

Wed, 18 May 2016 15:45:49 -0500

The US Constitution, with the Bill of Rights, is supposed to protect life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness to ALL its citizens. However, for a certain section of the US citizenry, namely those labeled as registered sex offenders, any such rights become largely absent, with more restrictive laws being passed locally, statewide, and nationally. These people have served their time in incarceration and paid their restitution, and yet they are subjected to harsher social ostracism for decades, even for life in several states.

Rider on the Rain - The Storms of Change

Tue, 17 May 2016 06:02:49 -0500

Protesters have risen from the ashes of the 1960's with a renewed vigor, enhanced by the availability of social media that lends the ability to gather groups quickly and easily. Like most things of yesteryear, the younger generation has found a better way to accomplish their goal. These groups appear to be angry, incited by an injustice close to their hearts and willing to make a loud statement. Why are there so many people protesting? Ask them and they quickly reply, 'We're angry... ,' but why? What causes this kind of societal anger?

What some American citizens can freely participate in, others are going to jail for and families are being broken apart.

If you have ever studied psychology or even read about it casually, you are most likely familiar with the fight or flight response to fear. Depending on your circumstances, when faced with something fearful to you, you react by attacking the source of your fear (fight) or avoiding it if it seems more powerful than you are. This kind of fear and response to it follow a direct and immediate threat of an attack such as by a wild animal or a wild person. You don't have time to think about it but react almost automatically.

Reincarnation Proven by Memory of Previous Lives With Evidence

Fri, 08 Apr 2016 07:49:03 -0500

My reincarnation and strong link to the Spirit of the Universe, the one and only God, shows how much man is deceived to believe in a religious god or gods that are concerned only with the earth and humans on it. There is no heaven or hell and those who dream of such places are even more deceived. No one has ever returned from heaven to explain it but millions have knowledge or inkling of their previous lives and are now talking about them.

Religious Tricks Created Blindness and Deafness Among Followers (Isaiah 29:10-12)

Wed, 06 Apr 2016 14:03:31 -0500

To belong to a religion is to have your sight removed and your ears blocked to reality. Lessons taught from a young age stay usually for life and is the reason children are indoctrinated. Society is tolerant of these tactics because most are of the same ilk.

The Trap Set to Catch 666 (Job 18:4-21)

Mon, 04 Apr 2016 08:11:00 -0500

The two beasts of Revelation 13 are described in another section as the two candle sticks and the two olive trees standing before the whole earth (Revelation 12;4). As candle sticks they provided light but it was not like the sun but rather like that of the night. As olive trees they produced oil, which is better described as 'life', such as that experienced by those seeking to know God and who turn to religions to find 'him'.

How Much Can We Change Things? Should We Try

Thu, 24 Mar 2016 07:01:35 -0500

How much can we change things? With yet more suicide bombings, world peace seems a long way off! In our little bit of Spain it feels very peaceful. Shopkeepers are sprucing up their shops, and bars are pulling up their blinds ready for a new season After two days of rain, the first really wet time this winter everything seems clean and fresh. My leg plaster-cast is off and I am once again able to walk along the beach. The clear water of the Mar-Menor, ripples on the sand.

The Media: Does The Mainstream Media Cause People To Have A False View Of The World?

Fri, 18 Mar 2016 13:16:13 -0500

If one was to talk about the world, there is a strong chance that the mainstream media will have played a part in what they have to say. And this could be a time where one will talk about what is currently taking place in their own country, as well as what it is like in other countries.

The Development of Traffic Lights and Their Mighty Importance

Mon, 07 Mar 2016 10:42:23 -0600

The traffic light has many different names like a traffic signal, stop lights, etc. They are placed out there to control the traffic. The first traffic light appeared in the mid-1800's and consisted of two lamps, a red and a green one, like it is still commonly used nowadays in most countries. However, there existed no way to render it automatic back then and a person had to be present all the time to operate it. Traffic officers would turn the lantern to make sure the right light was facing the traffic. Even though this method of traffic control was believed to be successful, it did not last for a very long time. After about one year, the traffic light exploded, and it is believed that an operating officer was killed in the explosion. Everyone then started doubting the safety of the invention, and decided to stop using it until the early 20th century when an electric alternative was introduced. Since then, this method of traffic control has begun spreading throughout the world, and it is currently hard to find a place on the planet without them.

The Advantages And Disadvantages Of Installing Traffic Lights

Mon, 07 Mar 2016 10:41:51 -0600

When people think about a traffic light, there is usually the immediate association with a 3-lamp light with red at the top, yellow in the middle, and green at the bottom. However, public transport often uses a different kind of traffic light. This is in order to make sure that private traffic and public transport will not meet with a collision in terms of safety and priority. The shapes of public transport lights can vary in terms of letters and arrows, and contain different colored bars.

Shaking Up the Humanitarian Architecture - Why It Matters for Both the Donor and Recipient

Mon, 07 Mar 2016 10:11:15 -0600

Something has gone woefully wrong with the way humanitarian aid system has come to operate. Humanitarian needs have multiplied several-fold in the past two decades and humanitarian aid has at least doubled in the past five years. At over $24 billion a year, though far below what is actually needed to meet all need, it is not delivering results and outcomes for those in need, on the one hand, and those paying for it, on the other.

Fri, 26 Feb 2016 08:48:38 -0600

Nigeria is one of the most beautifully rich and diverse countries in Africa, but unfortunately it has now been plagued with negative press, although rightfully so, it doesn't do the whole country and its people justice. Facts That Will Change the Way You Approach Food Wastage in India

Fri, 26 Feb 2016 07:16:13 -0600

If you were told millions of people across the world are hungry not because we don't produce enough food, but because we waste food, you'll probably laugh it off. But then, this is a fact, an inconvenient truth to be precise, that we have long turned blind eye to. In fact, when it comes to food wastage, India is one of the major culprits.

My Faceless Role Models

Thu, 18 Feb 2016 15:18:03 -0600

Civilized behavior is one of the benchmarks of humanity. Often, there are aberrations in civilized behavior. A jilted lover may kill his beloved. It sounds strange, but it's true, when the lover believes in possessive love. A victim of terrorism may have unspoken anger against the terrorist's society, yet it may help the terrorist's society, and educate its youth to check the brain-wash of teenagers by the fundamentalists. There are brave souls amongst us, who don't give in even when they face extreme sufferings and achieve their goal against all odds. Let these noble, and brave souls motivate all youths to shed violence, and be humane, humble, and humourous.

The African-American Story and the Evolution of Black History Month

Mon, 15 Feb 2016 14:43:39 -0600

Black History Month has been recognized every February for as long as many of us can remember, but too few are aware of how it all came to be. For that, we have to go all the way back to 1915 and a gentleman named Carter G. Woodson. A graduate of the University of Chicago, with a doctorate from Harvard, he is known as the "Father of Black History Month."

Power To Nigerian People Through Impeachment & Recall

Mon, 15 Feb 2016 06:42:10 -0600

An alarming percentage of the Nigerian masses is politically unsophisticated and gullible, and one cannot blame the people, because democracy is new to them. Even after the protracted military rule in the country finally gave way to democracy in 1999, it has been difficult to get the country's ruling class to imbibe true democracy; the leaders find it difficult to shed the entrenched mentality of leadership. This is largely because the populace is largely bereft of knowledge of democratic principles, hence, hardly seek democratic rights, because, they have no idea that such rights actually exist in something else that many do not even know about-the nations constitution! Instead, when pushed to the wall, the masses resort to barbaric ways of venting anger, such as recorded in October 2015 where angry mob besieged a Muslim prayer ground on a festive Sallah Day to throw stones at Nigeria's Senate President, Bukola Saraki, defying his bogus security detail. This calls for massive campaign to put the youths of Nigeria on the right (legitimate) path to get even with our leaders and their excesses through legitimate means enshrined in Nigeria's constitution, including my examples-Recall of erring lawmakers, and Impeachment of governors and presidents.

Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr - What We Must Never Forget About the Man and His Resounding Message

Tue, 09 Feb 2016 07:16:11 -0600

The one song for this article is the iconic anthem of the American Civil Rights Movement, "We Shall Overcome." It was not so much a song as a declaration of purpose and profound resolve, one that did not merely state and celebrate the destination... but constituted a collective pledge, renewed with each singing, that adherents were united in mind, body and purpose; for they would need all that, and more, as they moved towards the inspiring goal of equality, where people who were divided by tradition, at last forged unity from divisiveness. The song became associated with the Civil Rights Movement, when Guy Carawan launched it as their soaring battle hymn. There were many heroes in those days, but not yet a Hero who would rise above the others and become the very heartbeat of the movement, its public face and voice to the world. That man had not yet emerged, but his first important moment was about to take place... in Birmingham, Alabama, where from a prison cell he was about to instruct his followers, his opponents, and a world oppressed by a panoply of civil rights abuses in what a man who believes in justice must do.

End the Cruelty

Mon, 08 Feb 2016 14:50:14 -0600

It's no secret that we all live in times of dire violence and destruction. One need only turn on the evening news to hear atrocious stories of husbands murdering wives, children horrifically abused or neglected, riots in the streets of heavily urbanized areas, and other unfortunate tragedies. It is remarkably easy to allow ourselves to become desensitized to these violent acts; indeed, what seemed horrific ten years ago might seem so very quaint today.

The Media: Does The Mainstream Media Control People By Keeping Them Misinformed?

Sun, 07 Feb 2016 15:19:12 -0600

If two friends had a multiple choice test coming up in a few weeks, it could be said that it would be a good idea for them to practice. Through doing this, they are likely to have a better chance of knowing what the answers, are and this will then give them the chance to pass the test.

Arianna Huffington: Forbes List Most Influential Women

Tue, 05 Jan 2016 07:38:00 -0600

"When you wake up in the morning, don't start your day by looking at your smartphone. Take one minute - trust me, you do have one minute - to breathe deeply, or be grateful or set your intention for the day". One day while I was reading motivational quotes over the internet I happened to read the above quote by Arianna Huffington which not only made a favorable impression on my mind but also set me thinking.

Entitlement in Society

Thu, 31 Dec 2015 06:40:40 -0600

Often I hear people talk about how some individuals think they should be given everything without having to work for it. Parents eager to be friends with their children are sometimes treated as ATMs who are expected to dispense twenty dollar bills without question. Students often think they should get good marks without handing in assignments or showing up for classes.

CO2 Is Evil Haven't You Heard - But What If I Said That Is Absurd?

Wed, 16 Dec 2015 06:12:27 -0600

There has been a lot of talk in the media, originally part of the IPCC's outreach PR campaign about each of our "Carbon Footprints" as if Carbon is evil. How can Carbon be evil if you and every other human on this planet are 17% Carbon - does that mean humans are 17% evil? Says whom? Well, some at the IPCC and UN say humans are the problem and there are too many of us, so some of us have to go? Yikes. So, what is so bad about Carbon, it's an element on the periodic table for heaven's sake, and when you mix it with Oxygen, you get CO2 a compound gas, one of the essential gases in our atmosphere needed for life on Earth as we know it.

Russia's Wild West

Fri, 11 Dec 2015 14:27:49 -0600

Whimsical as it may sound modern day Russia could offer a solution to an overpopulated overrun Western Europe. According to the Moscow Times there is a desperate need to populate regions that would benefit from cultivation. As a solution it served mankind well for a millennium and more. Forget the myth that Siberia is relentless frozen tundra. Much of South-East Russia enjoys a temperate climate similar to Northern Europe's or that of Canada. Authorities in Russia's Far East offer one hectare of land for each relocating family member. Free of all charges, the land's owners receive the title deeds to the land and buildings. The only condition is that the land is put to use.
