Sure It's Fake - But the Hunger Is Real

Wed, 22 Mar 2017 07:35:47 -0500

Fake news invades our eyes, ears, and minds on a daily basis. How and why do they whip fake news up in the newsroom kitchen?

Charter Schools: Whether or Not They're Part of the Problem or Solution and 19+ Should-Know Facts

Mon, 20 Mar 2017 07:39:28 -0500

Ironically, it was Albert Shanker back in 1988 as president of the American Federation of Teachers who came out vocally for charter schools as a solution to the meager 20% of students benefiting from traditional public schooling at the time. Later on, so did Presidents Clinton and G.W. Bush, with Obama ultimately making them a top federal priority. Now with Trump and his Education Secretary at the helm, the push is even stronger--and more controversial than ever.

Is It Time to Dump the Elitist Term Expat?

Fri, 03 Mar 2017 07:47:05 -0600

The term "expat" - short for expatriate - conjures up the glamorous image of westerners swanning around in developing countries. They are found living in Miraflores in Lima, BKK1 in Phnom Penh and Oasis in Casablanca. There they enjoy a lifestyle with maids, private schools for their children and expensive restaurants.

The Media: Do Some People Believe Everything The Alternative Media Tells Them?

Thu, 02 Mar 2017 07:00:37 -0600

While there are people who look towards the mainstream media to be informed, there are others who are no longer willing to do so. When these people want to find out about what is taking place around them, they will look towards the alternative media.

California Failed To Protect Its Citizens, And Now The Promise To Fix Infrastructure?

Tue, 28 Feb 2017 06:46:00 -0600

When Arnold Schwarzenegger was California Governor he attempted to allot funds towards the repair and maintenance of the levee system and yet, couldn't get the democratic California legislature at the time to accept his budget, instead they had endless social programs and pet projects to fund. Some folks do not remember their history, but I am not one of them, you see here we are in 2017 and we have a dam crisis brewing at the Oroville Dam, which happens to be about 1/2 of Northern and Central California's water supply - it is the main dam with 9-smaller dams above it. As I pen this article all 9 dams are 100% full and Oroville Dam needs repairs on its spillways which are in jeopardy of total failure.

Oroville Dam Disaster

Tue, 21 Feb 2017 06:52:35 -0600

In Mid-February of 2017 we watched videos on TV and online showing just how bad our crumbling infrastructure in the US had gotten. In fact, the tallest dam in the United States had a failure of its main spillway, something that could have been fixed inexpensively turned into cost of 100s of millions of dollars in very short order. Indeed, now some are questioning if the dam can make it through the winter rainy season without total failure - which if it occurs it will be the biggest disaster in US History, with potentially the most lives lost as well.

I Am Craving for Knowledge

Fri, 17 Feb 2017 11:56:25 -0600

I am nothing but disabled without awareness of surroundings. It's amazing to know everything. On the other hand, lack of knowledge is crippling. I do not crave for any template for success.

3D Printing Can't Define The Future Of The Humanity - My Thoughts

Mon, 13 Feb 2017 11:50:28 -0600

While there is the whole buzz around citing 3D printing as the definite future of humanity, I beg to differ for certain reasons that I have penned down below. To start with, the 3D mechanism here banks on resin, and it is actually harmful to our body. You don't always need to come in physical contact with it to understand the danger- in fact; you will end up hurting your eyes even if you stare at it for long.

I Was a Female Drug Testing Chaperone

Fri, 10 Feb 2017 11:53:52 -0600

I have been in toilets all over Auckland with half-naked women. No, this is not about sex; this is about drugs. In sport. Thanks to Lance Armstrong, everyone knows about drugs in sport and drug testing, but you may not have realised that some drug testing involves testing urine. And I have done this for a job.

Leftist Cable TV News Interview So-Called Experts Who Keep Saying - I Think - Before Speaking

Tue, 07 Feb 2017 07:03:06 -0600

The leftist FAKE NEWS and socialist propaganda has hit an all-time high. Their strategies so obvious now that even a low-IQ, millennium with the attention span of a gnat can see faster than a Google search which brings back 4.5 million items to your query in 0.0054183710391 seconds - don't believe me - search Fake News and see for yourself why don't you?

Baby Boomers: Are Your Millennial Children Worse Off Than You?

Wed, 25 Jan 2017 13:17:27 -0600

Some baby boomers may be a bit dismayed by the latest study last week from the Federal Reserve data reporting that millennials actually make less money than they did at the same age. The research shows that boomers' millennial children earn 20 percent less than they did at the same stage of life with a median household income of $40, 581, despite being better educated. There's more. When baby boomers were young, they owned more homes and had amassed assets worth twice as much as young people today. What does this mean for their millennial children?

America, My Home

Sun, 22 Jan 2017 09:10:38 -0600

America, so true, Your red, Your white, Your blue, How can your children stray, Knowing what others had to pay, Answering duty's call, Where so many had to fall, That documents signed by few, Offer freedoms for me and you? How easily forgotten, those words of long ago, That set a precedent for life, that often we forego. To satisfy today, the self centered path we walk, Forgetting to stand for freedom rights, until we wake in...

If Racism Is the Sin of White America, Irresponsibility Is the Sin of Black America

Wed, 18 Jan 2017 08:35:13 -0600

There is always a sense of safety when we blame someone even if we are the ones on the wrong. Blame game is usually a self-protective response which is normally aimed at protecting our under-performance.

How Social Media Is Being Used To Assassinate a Person's Character

Mon, 16 Jan 2017 15:02:10 -0600

Social media is a faceless community. In most cases, you do not see the person who likes your photos, resents your posts or even shares your ideas. It is on social media where people tweet and sent threatening messages to strangers without a care in the world. It's just fun - they say. Let me say that it is never fun if the recipient is scared to the core or if the post involves character assassination. This post is about how social media is being used to assassinate a person character.

It's Time We Stop Ignoring Racism In America

Thu, 05 Jan 2017 12:59:59 -0600

It's Time We Stop Ignoring Racism In America. Racism has obviously disguised itself in a variety of ways. One of Racism's many personalities allows it to masquerade as justice. This is perhaps the deadliest weapon in violating African American rights.

The Media: Does The Mainstream Media Condition People To Believe That Everything Is Black And White?

Wed, 28 Dec 2016 11:50:23 -0600

When it comes to being informed about the world, it is not uncommon for someone to look towards the mainstream media. There is a strong chance that this is something that has taken place for most of their life.

What Is Fact Check Syndrome, And Is It As Bad As It Sounds?

Wed, 28 Dec 2016 07:28:52 -0600

The concept of 'fact checking' became a very popular tool of the left during Obama's first run for the presidency - the only problem was that the more these fact checkers were checking the more often it was obvious that their so-called truth-be-told motif was jaded towards the left-side of the political spectrum. Who is checking the fact-checkers? Sounds funny, but we must dare to ask. Especially in this time and era of "Fake News" charges by the left-stream Cable TV Media and social networks like Facebook.

What Is Going On With College Professor Radicalized Hate Speech?

Wed, 28 Dec 2016 07:04:38 -0600

Something is completely wrong with this picture; College and University Professors across this country are actively trying to overthrow our duly elected president and inciting protests, riots and violence against anyone and everyone who voted for Donald Trump and Mike Pence. Is academia radicalizing lone-wolf college students to take to the streets in violation? Why? Why are they radicalizing our kids, and why on Earth are we paying the high-tuition costs allowing them to have a platform to do this?

Cable News With An Agenda - Is That Fake News Too?

Tue, 20 Dec 2016 07:08:42 -0600

It is amazing the history of free press suppression amongst those who want to take or remain in control. And more than one philosopher has noted that; He Who Owns The Media, Owns The Minds Of The People. Today we see Silicon Valley, namely Google and Facebook wanting to eliminate what they call "Fake News" from their websites, namely Google News and Facebook's News Feed. Of course, this presents a rather slippery slope - one of mass censorship. Indeed, both companies have been caught suppressing right-wing news and enhancing positive news towards left-leaning politicians.

The Media: Does The Mainstream Media Edit Videos In Order To Control People?

Mon, 19 Dec 2016 07:31:39 -0600

When one wants to find out about what is taking place in the world, they can end up looking towards the mainstream media. This could be something that has taken place for as long as they can remember.

Facebook 'Fake News' Program Needs A Special Button To Choose Reading Only Delisted Articles

Mon, 19 Dec 2016 06:59:03 -0600

Apparently, our mainstream media and major search engines and even Facebook want to censor politically right-leaning speech. That's interesting considering that the whole idea of the Internet was to foster free-speech, expression and free-thinking ideas - well, I guess now it still does as long as those messages are left-leaning, politically correct, and progressive. After the 2016 Presidential Election, many people ask; How come the TV media got it so wrong with the polling results? How come the Internet giants replayed that same message? Why are the major holders of information using extreme propaganda techniques to meld society into some sort of mindless Borg?

Homeless at Christmas

Fri, 16 Dec 2016 07:28:00 -0600

Can you think of anything more dreadful than being homeless at Christmas? Walking cold wet streets with no-one to go to, nobody that cares whether you live or die, permanently hungry, wondering if you will find a bed for the night. No wonder many are turning to drugs and alcohol. Maybe a side benefit of ending homelessness and reducing prison intake would be to get these people off the streets, re-house and re-educate them before they turn to a life of crime. It is no wonder we need more police!

Should The United States Move To Online Voting?

Tue, 13 Dec 2016 07:48:04 -0600

Why can't we vote online with a voting app? Is it really that tough to secure such a system? I mean we seem to be able to secure online transactions alright? If we could do this; should we? How would it change the speed of government? Would that change move too fast and catch people and the business community off guard? "The Only Constant is Change" but would this change be a bridge too far, too fast?

News: Should Someone Always Pay Attention To The Same News Source?

Sun, 11 Dec 2016 19:07:21 -0600

As soon as Donald Trump is inaugurated, Speaker Paul Ryan will offer legislation to get rid of Medicare, and most likely, Republican legislators will vote for this bill. This means Medicare will be "privatized." The Medicare program will be ended and given to private insurance companies and millions of the elderly will lose their savings and their homes.

Mon, 28 Nov 2016 11:32:40 -0600

Adult Genetic Screening, Testing, and Intervention: What Are the Consequences?

Wed, 09 Nov 2016 15:45:45 -0600

A longstanding concern about genetic screening and testing is that people at increased risk for a serious condition could face discrimination, which prompted passage of the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA) in 2008. Lawmakers have designed GINA to prevent discrimination from health insurers and employers. There is a question of whether it can be enforced 100 percent of the time.

Tue, 01 Nov 2016 09:01:42 -0500

Have you ever wondered why it's difficult for most white people in the United States to affirm that racism exists? Well, it's because the white community is seldom on the receiving end of racist activities and as such, they never get to experience it first hand.

White People Often Disguise Their Racism

Fri, 28 Oct 2016 10:09:31 -0500

If we observe and focus on various incidents which had taken place during the dark days of slavery and even after that time period, it has been proven, on several occasions that many white people have racial issues which makes them want to stand apart instead of mixing around with black people. Apparently although the situation seems different in the present with the increasing number of interracial relationships, the bitterness within the white people still exist to some extent.

Concussion and Language Change

Wed, 26 Oct 2016 08:00:26 -0500

The story of Reuben Nsemoh, the teenager in Georgia, USA, who received a blow on the head and woke up speaking Spanish, reminded me of a similar, though less severe, trauma that I experienced in the mid-1970s in Ghana, West Africa. Reuben was playing football and as a goalkeeper he was kicked on the head as he dived for the ball. My own experience occurred while horse riding, when my mount slipped on dry grass while rounding a tight right turn at a canter, and fell, pitching me onto the left side of my head. Reuben woke up speaking Spanish, and I was reported to have spoken only the local African language, Twi, through hours during which I suffered complete memory loss.

Presidential Villa and the Strange Curses (1)

Thu, 20 Oct 2016 08:18:51 -0500

First of all, to try to understand what is happening there, you must ask these questions: what is the foundation of the place? Who built the structures? What kind of sacrifice was made and still being made at the place? Who are those that visit or work in the place? And who are the opponents, forces against the occupant of the seat?? When you put all these answers together then, you will come to the conclusion that is normal for the place to be having a high-level spiritual conflagration that with be emitting those terrible curses these men have enumerated. Or how do you think the devils will be gathering and there won't be such demonic emissions? Is it possible! The place is spiritually 'overheated' and there must be toxics, releases and reactions. These write-ups reminded me of my contribution ''Nigeria: Rumbling in the Spirit' in 2010, about the plans to poison then President. The action and reactions of this was also well capture in my book Power of Midnight Prayer (Pages 162-170, amazon.com, 2012). There is truly constant spiritual, diabolical plans against those in authority and where they seat.

The Media: Does The Mainstream Media Use Repetition To Control People?

Fri, 14 Oct 2016 14:04:24 -0500

In the past, one would have watched TV, listened to the radio or read a paper if they wanted to find out what was taking place in the world. Nowadays, this is no longer necessary, and this is because they can simply go online.

Has Derren Brown Turned Evangelical or Was It Just a Theatrical Stunt?

Thu, 13 Oct 2016 08:34:34 -0500

The recent Derren Brown show on TV has made me wonder if there was a hidden agenda. It was more like a Billy Graham meeting by the time it ended. A bizarre mixture of mind reading glass crunching and healing. It was entertaining as always and it certainly appeared to help many members of the audience cure their aches and pains, but it was certainly different. No doubt if you missed it it will be available on "catch up".

Sitting Out The Anthem Isn't Unpatriotic

Wed, 12 Oct 2016 13:28:04 -0500

Standing for the American national anthem used to be as automatic as breathing. That's changing now because of the stance initially taken by San Francisco 49ers' quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

How, in These Times, Can Social Justice Ever Prevail?

Mon, 10 Oct 2016 15:14:34 -0500

While it is becoming increasingly difficult to navigate the sense of faith in the current social justice upheaval, faith is the only common denominator that liberates us from the current social injustice that we are seeing, daily, on our television screens and sometimes in our very own streets. Why are we in this situation?

Help Stop Racial Profiling and Move America Forward Together

The Importance of Law Enforcement in Our Society

Something Is Fishy With All These Stupid Little Terrorist Attacks

Thu, 06 Oct 2016 07:07:35 -0500

In 2016 there were some wannabe terrorist style attacks - your basic YouTube instructional "Pressure Cooker Bomb" copy-cat inspired Islamic Jihadi nonsense. Turns out, the wannabe terrorist ended up dying in a gun-fight with police, family members fled to Afghanistan just a few days before - convenient. Still, all-in-all the NYC bombings were mere mischief with bad intent, hardly worthy of the 24/7 cable news coverage - almost as if a 'purposeful event' to distract us from something else. Like what you ask?

Lori's Heart

Wed, 28 Sep 2016 13:22:24 -0500

Finding Peace and Our Purpose in Life

Tue, 27 Sep 2016 13:18:48 -0500

What has happened to the world today, wars consume and destroy large sections of our planet, whilst in the west we hurry and scurry, no time for cooking nutritious food and time to eat it. People are getting more and more stressed, working to buy more labour-saving devices! The internet is creating cyber bullying, children worry about exams, farmers worry about their livestock and livelihood, others just worry. Too many are overwhelmed and committing suicide. It seems we have all forgotten how to love and care about the well-being of others. How can we reverse this trend?

What You Don't Know About Dog Bites Might Come Back to Bite You

Tue, 20 Sep 2016 14:00:43 -0500

Dog bite attacks number over one-third of all claims filed each year by homeowners. Since there are no nationwide laws for dog bite attacks, it sometimes leads to a lot of confusion as there may be a lot of conflicting parts to an ordinance for dog bite attacks that has to be proven.

The Left Insists That Anyone Who Does Not Agree Must Be A Racist

Sun, 11 Sep 2016 09:35:57 -0500

News Flash: Just because someone disagrees with your faulty logic, failed programs or socialist agenda, doesn't make them a racist. The reality is that much of the left's name-calling is in complete hypocrisy. You see, under the Democrat leadership under Barack Obama, the former community protest organizer and now president, has set race-relations back generations due to race-baiting and purporting victimhood for anyone other than white. That may help get votes but it does a terrible disservice to a nation which is supposed to be all-inclusive and was on its way to finally realizing that strategic goal. America does not need more of the same from these current trends of divisiveness, nor does the name-calling foster a positive future towards our goals - America needs a change, not a continuation of a political dynasty, intent on the ultimate power and going global.

As Autumn Winds Blow

Thu, 08 Sep 2016 07:51:04 -0500

Seasons come and go but it is always at this time of year when the sun sets a little earlier those gentle summer breezes always fade away. As Autumn winds replace that summer breeze there is always a sadness that overcomes the soul. I have always noticed that at this time of year memories of past summers have always brought me to tears.

American Freedoms In The Hands Of Buffoons

Thu, 08 Sep 2016 07:31:12 -0500

Pictures of people stomping on the American flag and athletes sitting out the national anthem have been an increasingly frequent part of news reports lately. Many of us are unhappy with this. Here I tell you why I am not happy and never will be with such acts of protest. Yes, it's a free country, but why use your freedom to be stupid so freely?

My Heart Will Go On And On

Tue, 23 Aug 2016 15:12:09 -0500

After a day of giving psychic and mediumistic readings, it's nice to relax with an avocado smoothie (great for the heart), and a Nora Roberts novel. My friend Rochelle's face popped into my mind...

Are Terrorists Using Arson to Attack Us?

Thu, 18 Aug 2016 06:28:23 -0500

Who is causing these terrible fires in California (Summer of 2016)? Occam's Razor would suggest it is mentally problematic arsonists and a string of copy cats with the same 'love of fire' or need to project themselves and cause harm to all of us. Nevertheless, what if it were an act of terrorism? After all, these terrible wildfires do indeed terrorize us all. Each time we turn on the TV set and see people evacuating in fear from their homes, wondering if they will still be there when they return - it makes us all think about our own vulnerabilities. What if, international terrorists were starting these fires?

Why I Purposefully Lied To A CNN Pollster Who Asked About My Voting Preferences

Thu, 18 Aug 2016 06:27:36 -0500

Well, what do you know? I finally got a chance to get back at the leftist media today during this final home stretch to the 2016 Presidential Election. You see, I know that CNN has been lying and manipulating our society to the leftist agenda for years. So when they ask me who I would vote for, I just acted like a brain-dead CNN left-leaning viewer mirror and repeated back to them the same sort of rhetoric they air on Cable TV. I told them that I thought Hillary was qualified, but I didn't say for what - my thinking was to go to prison.

Tell Your Stories

Tue, 16 Aug 2016 13:05:25 -0500

The only one thing more important than knowing who we are: Being aware of where we came from. I realized that recently, when I was giving messages from spirit as part of the holiday service at our Spiritualist church. As I said a quick, silent prayer for guidance, I felt the presence of a grandmotherly energy who wanted to speak.

Americans Should Be Allowed To Have Guns To Protect Themselves - But Why?

Mon, 15 Aug 2016 06:45:59 -0500

Not long ago, there were a string of home burglaries near me, just down the street in fact. On one occasion, the police were called, they caught one of the burglars cuffed and stuffed him in the car, then started looking for the next two who were also reported in cahoots. A neighbor had called and the police responded quickly, but the home backed up to the golf course so of course, the suspects fled making it hard to catch them. Turns out the burglar they caught broke out of the police car and took off running too, thus, they had no suspects - so much for good police procedures.

When Disaster Strikes, Not Everyone Is Surprised - Message to Humans Doomed to Repeat

Fri, 05 Aug 2016 06:32:44 -0500

Message to Humans Doomed to Repeat, don't be so duped by politicians, or leadership who says; "no one saw this coming" after a terrible disaster, usually they are just covering up bad judgement and inept decision making - often conclusions which came out of a bureaucratic group think committee. No one wants to own up to their disregard for Murphy's Law, Physics, Probability, or those who recommended against it. Our think tank over the years, has studied disasters of all types, natural and man-made, most of the deaths were preventable and most of the real problems were predicted and forewarned. Let's talk.

Think Tanks Only Work When People Are Allowed To Think and Have Credible Things to Say

Thu, 04 Aug 2016 06:51:51 -0500

There are lots of Think Tanks in the World, some say too many, others say not enough - those who say too many can't keep track of them all or they are policy planners and don't like dissenting opinions. Those who say there aren't enough realize that the world has so many problems there is just too much work to do and not enough people deployed to do them. Then there are people like me who note that there are too many politically motivated thinking groups who have agendas and use their influence to grease the skids for their dictatorial policy direction. Yes, let's talk shall we?

Superdelegates Of The Big Socialist Government Party - The Democrats Of America

Mon, 01 Aug 2016 07:02:07 -0500

Just how bad is it for Bernie Sanders' supporters? Well, in this historic election, both sides saying it's most likely the most important election of our time, it seems the Democrat Party claims to want to do the right thing. No, not right now - rather, next time. Yes, how convenient indeed. Does that sound fair to you after all this email scandal and censoring of the Bernie Sanders' supporters? It sure doesn't seem right to me, and mind you, I am not a Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders voter, but I know a bad deal when I see one and I can see someone is getting the shaft for political expediency of crushing one opponent for another. Let me explain.

You come across a young lady and panic is written all over her face and she can't force back her tears. The atmosphere forces you to ask her what is going on. Ambition, hard work, resilience, patience and sheer determination can be best illustrated when you visit any slum across the world.

Full Court Press - The Media Mess

Mon, 25 Jul 2016 09:38:55 -0500

Journalists are expected to honor a creed that has long been recognized by their industry and respected by Americans. They are charged with the responsibility of accurately and concisely presenting the facts of affairs both foreign and domestic to their citizens. There was an understanding that they stood as the guards at the gates of our freedom by virtue of their accuracy and lack of bias in their presentation. So long as they honored this duty Americans were able to make clear choices about events that affect their future, safety and security. They earned the respect that was afforded to them through their integrity. Something has happened; the effects of this present dangerous consequences to the very fabric of the American people.

Crystal Blue Persuasion - When the Law Walks

Tue, 19 Jul 2016 14:41:10 -0500

'Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness... ' Inalienable rights of the American citizen detuned in the Declaration of Independence. Entrenched it is in the memory of impossible dreams that became a reality as a fledging, cold and ill equipped army stood with God and faced the most powerful military force on the planet, and won. It was the humble beginning of the city on the hill whose beckoning light would shine for more than 240 years, penetrating the darkness of humanity through the will, strength and faith of her people. This is America... the champion, the defender, the caregiver to those who cannot see the light. God's hands reach out through the touch of America; it is the land of the free, the hope of humanity, still. Liberty is precious and walks hand in hand with law enforcement.

The game comes complete with a label maker allowing the players to easily assign a brand to identify their opponents, lest they forget why they have been deemed unacceptable.

Does The Brexit Vote Send A Message To Large Bureaucratic Socialist Style Government Power?

Fri, 24 Jun 2016 06:22:35 -0500

When the British voted to leave the European Union it shouldn't have surprised anyone, but it surely did. The media pundits were shocked, the international community was shocked, our Obama Administration was shocked, everyone was blown away - still, I ask why? Obviously, there is incredible discontent amongst EU members. And the Eurozone is in big trouble with the PIIGS - Portugal, Italy, Ireland, Greece and Spain in financial and economic turmoil and Germany a little miffed at trying to keep the whole thing going while socialist government live high on the hog. Many have previously stated that the EU is a slow motion train wreck, it was doomed from the beginning, or it cannot survive without more power at the ECB.
