Dopamine and So on

Tue, 17 Oct 2017 07:01:49 -0500

Some time ago I woke up with the question: Why should every school pay school fees for the implementation of IT for learning? By the way, I'm on the governing body of a high school in our town and IT is my portfolio.

Check It Out

Sun, 15 Oct 2017 21:34:18 -0500

Why is our theology defined by others? Many of our beliefs are based on public acquired knowledge through verbal and non-verbal forms of communications. We believe, to a large degree, what we are taught.

How Was God Good Before Creation?

Fri, 13 Oct 2017 11:19:38 -0500

This article explores the notion of how God could be considered good when He was a standalone Being before creation. The author strives to explain how God was good even without the apparent existence of evil.

The Origin of Reason

Fri, 13 Oct 2017 11:17:11 -0500

It is widely agreed upon that reason exist. The problem is that you cannot defend reason by reason without finding yourself in a circular argument. But the origin of our reason is an important question to ask ourselves.

Sex: Stop That Nonsense

Thu, 12 Oct 2017 18:24:03 -0500

5And that means killing off everything connected with that way of death: sexual promiscuity, impurity, lust, doing whatever you feel like whenever you feel like it, and grabbing whatever attracts your fancy. Sometimes you do something wrong.

Naughty As Always

Tue, 10 Oct 2017 14:59:39 -0500

After 40 years I was back at my primary school in Somerset West where my daughter took part in an evening athletics event. I could hardly believe it, but one of my old teachers, Mr. Le Roux, was still there and was the starter for the evening. I walked over and introduced myself. With such a unique name as mine, he could still remember me. And his first words to me? "Are you still as naughty as you were then?" I found this remark by the teacher quite strange. Was that all that he could remember about me?

Equals? Surely Not!

Mon, 09 Oct 2017 14:52:10 -0500

Are we all equal? Before the law of the land, maybe we are; in other ways we are not. But being different in various ways does not make us less than equal. And in our Christian faith, most of us Western Christians who are Gentiles, or non-Jewish, often forget the wonder of our equality before God with Jewish or Messianic believers.

Proclaiming Sin and Naming Purveyors of Sin: A Requirement for Christians

Sun, 08 Oct 2017 20:57:05 -0500

If, for example, the ancient Egyptians had, at the inception of their reign over Egypt, packaged a direly poisonous substance they regarded as holy, in a purely pagan sense of the word, into a stone container and buried it with their very first Pharaoh, expecting it to be magically transformed over the eons of time into a delicious un-poisonous food consumable by later Egyptian generations, what would actually be the end result? If, in the 21st Century, a pagan Egyptian were to unearth the stone container and sample what he regarded as a magically transformed poison, he would be sadly disappointed to find that the poison is as deadly now as it was the day it was anciently buried. Sin is basically the same, and does not change with time. What was anciently sin, and crimes resulting from that sin, are the same sin, and crimes resulting from that sin in the 21st Century. The old immorality today is certainly not a new morality, but only the old immorality being called a very devious and pernicious name. To taste of the old immorality today is as poisonous, and deadly, as it was anciently.

Molding the Future

Sun, 08 Oct 2017 20:55:51 -0500

Every parent must realize the responsibility they hold in bringing up their children. If our contemporary parents fail to take up their parenting responsibility, there will be little hope that the next generation will make any difference.

The Law Versus God's Grace

Thu, 05 Oct 2017 15:43:12 -0500

Philippians 3:4-14 contrasts the Law of Moses (especially its strict observances) with God's grace. It tells us what we need to do, such as putting old lives behind us and concentrating on our new lives with Christ. Grace and a right relationship with God are more important than strict observance of the Law. God often calls us to give up something that is important to us so we can grow closer to Him in faith. What we give up pales in comparison to what we gain-eternal life.

The Focus in My Head

Thu, 05 Oct 2017 15:42:51 -0500

Each of us is being shaped by the things going on in our heads. What we permit in our thoughts determines what we eventually become.

Worship Security Teams Are Vitally Important

Wed, 04 Oct 2017 20:35:36 -0500

Two Way Radios are essential for a Church's Security Team as a tool to help prevent tragic situations from occurring. Equipping several responsible members with two way radios provides a valuable opportunity to get in front of a situation rather than simply reacting.

Once - Always?

Sun, 01 Oct 2017 19:28:18 -0500

People are in quest of "Life Insurance" that guarantees if they have a spiritual accident they will be covered by their Biblical policy. What is the status of an individual who walks away from his faith? Is there ever an opportunity to return from the Faith, or is he eternally lost?

More Disproof Of The Existence Of God

Sun, 01 Oct 2017 11:05:22 -0500

It is not possible to absolutely prove that God (or any other deity for that matter of which there are thousands postulated) does not exist. Likewise it is not possible to absolutely prove that orbiting teapots, pixies, extraterrestrials, demons and ghosts don't exist. However, the actual existence of God can be shown to be so unlikely as to be 'proof' beyond a reasonable doubt.

Disproving The Existence Of God

Sun, 01 Oct 2017 11:05:04 -0500

It is not possible to absolutely prove that God (or any other deity for that matter of which there are thousands postulated) does not exist. Likewise it is not possible to absolutely prove that orbiting teapots, pixies, extraterrestrials, demons and ghosts don't exist. Spiritual Unity

Fri, 29 Sep 2017 07:45:06 -0500

In Philippians 2:1-13, Paul talks about unity and servanthood. To live in unity, or to be like-minded, believers must practice three things: harmony, humility and helpfulness. When we value ourselves, we demonstrate Christian humility. We mirror Jesus, who came not to be served but to serve. When we take the very nature of a servant, we have the mindset of Jesus. When we serve, it takes our minds off our desire to be served. The danger of being a lover of self is inherent in each of us. As we put aside our desires and become more selfless, we will enrich those around us, show God's love wherever we are, and develop the mind of Christ. When we welcome those we consider to be below us, our eyes are opened to the stories of those we meet. It's such a simple way to love-one that changes our lives and the lives of those around us.

Thanksgiving for God's Love

Fri, 29 Sep 2017 07:43:08 -0500

The words of Moses in Deuteronomy 8:7-18 impress on the Israelites and on us the need to learn a specific lesson from the past. Their experience of God's care in the wilderness period, when they were unable to help themselves, was to teach them humility through the Lord's providential discipline. The memory of that experience should have kept them from having pride in their own achievements when entering the Promised Land. Similarly, our experience of God's care in the tough times in our lives when we can't help ourselves should teach us humility. We learn this through God's loving discipline.

The Instruments of God

Fri, 29 Sep 2017 07:43:02 -0500

How many of you know people who do nothing but complain? That would also describe the Israelites when they were in the wilderness. They constantly complained about things such the lack of food and water, and we see an example of that complaining in the passage we heard from Exodus.

What Is Truly True

Thu, 28 Sep 2017 07:42:57 -0500

Sometimes it's difficult for me to distinguish between who is actually right about God and his stuff, and who is mistaken. When two people start talking about what they believe in from different perspectives, and about what one should actually do, it sounds to me as if both are right and I want to say: Let's take hands and tackle this together.

Calling and Profession

Wed, 27 Sep 2017 08:23:28 -0500

It was laid on my heart to write on this, to correct certain impressions people have about this and bring about repentance (change of mind) to the hearts of many out there who had consciously or unconsciously mistaken their callings for a profession. I believe this words will minister to your hearts and minds as you receive these words to heart. Most times as believers we are caught in the act of "professionalism" in carrying out the very work that God has called us to do.

What Is The Very Best Way For A Christian To Pray For Another Person?

Mon, 25 Sep 2017 08:35:14 -0500

Words are powerful! They shape our life daily. Words are the start processors of life. Here's a word of advice... Never judge the size of the fire in a person, you never know what their future holds for them. God knows when they will turn around and stop listening to the lies of the devil and change and desire to hear the truth. God knows them so very well. God exist outside of our time continuum and sees the future and the present like we can see the beginning and the end of a book. There's nothing new under the sun to God. So we should give people a chance no matter who they are and pray for them. So it's best to bless them, pray for them and keep praying for them. They may be a trail blazer (in the making) that will bless you in life (and others) and they don't even know it, yet. PRAYER CHANGES THINGS.

The Third Adam

Mon, 25 Sep 2017 07:14:29 -0500

The New Testament contains the blueprint of what the recreated individual should be; yet, in vie of this faultless description, there is a creation of a new type of Believer in which man is the architect. He is called the "third adam."

God Hates Us All

Sat, 23 Sep 2017 18:59:14 -0500

Do you or do you not believe in God? If you do, then why?

Going Mad?

Thu, 21 Sep 2017 14:47:39 -0500

When do people lose it? Sometimes when your circumstances become too much to deal with.

The First Will Be Last and the Last Will Be First In God's Kingdom

Thu, 21 Sep 2017 07:40:14 -0500

How many of us have felt that someone treated us unfairly? Has someone favoured another person over us? All of us have endured some hurt when our dreams are dashed or ambitions denied. Preferred treatment can lay the foundation for bitter memories. Does our ill treatment serve a greater good? Do others in need benefit? Sometimes we endure unequal treatment in the name of justice. In Matthew's gospel, Jesus presented the Kingdom as one of justice, not necessarily of fairness. According to Jesus, the faithful, even those who practiced faith all life long, did not earn the Kingdom. God gave His children the Kingdom as a gift.

Are You Playing House?

Tue, 19 Sep 2017 07:01:46 -0500

18Don't tolerate people who try to run your life, ordering you to bow and scrape, insisting that you join their obsession with angels and that you seek out visions. They're a lot of hot air, that's all they are.

Free in Christ

Mon, 18 Sep 2017 07:20:43 -0500

Nowadays you find people who want to convince you of one or another faith principle all over the place. Just look around you on Sundays.

Jesus Lives, Jesus Heals

Mon, 18 Sep 2017 07:19:42 -0500

A day after my surgery, weary but rejoicing in my health, I learnt another truth- Jesus had borne my own sickness. And that through the singular act of atonement, He had taken upon Himself all my suffering. I was suddenly filled not just with remorse for my blinding self-conceit, but also with gratitude.

Some Anti-Theist Religious Bits & Pieces: Round Eighteen

Sun, 17 Sep 2017 09:27:41 -0500

Philosophical concepts that surround life, the universe and everything, including those realms of theology, religions and the nature of deities continue to fascinate. Opinions proliferate. There's the theist pro side; there's the atheist anti-side. There aren't too many fence-sitters. I'm still in the anti-camp as the following eighteenth helping of "Religious Bits and Pieces" illustrate.

The Bible Seems Like A Hopeless Jumble - How Do You Sort It Out?

Sat, 16 Sep 2017 09:21:30 -0500

I started to read the Bible but there was so much that seemed totally weird - a great God who created everything, but who built into the human sub-beings the freedom to go way off track. After that, all was hatred, bloodshed, incessant warring, and idol worship, strange goings on, deep discussions, a hymnbook, and prophets who seem to know the future. Then Jesus came to fix things, but was killed, and claimed to rise again. Really, how come Christianity makes so much of all these ancient writings?

True Calling On Laborers

Fri, 15 Sep 2017 09:35:17 -0500

The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few - Luke 10:2. You are either on God's side or you are on the side of the Lucifer so, tell me whose side are you? God or... ? God having made man in His own image so that man-kind will do His (God's) own will. What is God's Will, Genesis 2:15 says the Lord took man and put him into the garden of Eden to cultivate it and keep it. And God commanded man in verse 16-17 not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, but if did he'll die. The first work gave man is to labor on the vineyard of Eden because God Himself worked in Genesis chapter one so, man is to manage the created works of God The second is different from the first one, a law that must be kept without any objection '"do not eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil".

Being Nearsighted

Thu, 14 Sep 2017 21:20:46 -0500

Gideon faced insurmountable odds when the Midianites attacked his land. Instead of looking at the situation as an opportunity to see the power of God, he saw it without God being involved. What was the answer?

Street Festival

Thu, 14 Sep 2017 15:03:27 -0500

When it's time for the Olympic Games, everybody watches sport. Doesn't matter how strange or unfamiliar the kind of sport is, everybody sits glued to their TV screens.

All-Out Action

Thu, 14 Sep 2017 15:03:12 -0500

We must hear about the forgiveness of sin and what Jesus did for us on the cross again and again and in different ways so that we can really experience it. Every moment of the day we must know what Jesus did and then live victoriously.

Forgive Again, And Again, And Again

Thu, 14 Sep 2017 07:15:39 -0500

When it comes to forgiveness, how much is enough? How much do we need to forgive? How often should we be doing all we can to wash away the stains which weaken the bonds between us, which take their toll on our own sense of well-being - our very own peace, not to mention the peace between us?

Keeping Hope Alive

Wed, 13 Sep 2017 08:26:46 -0500

Proverbs 13:12 "Hope deferred makes the heart sick..." - An experiment was done by Curt Richter in 1950. He did series of experiment to test how long rats could swim in a high sided buckets of circulating water before they drown. Dr. Richter found out in a normal circumstance that a rat could swim for an average of 50 minutes before giving up and sinking. However, if you rescue the rat just before drowning, dry them off and let them rest briefly then put them back in the same bucket of circulating water, the rat could swim for an average of 60 hours.

Some Anti-Theist Religious Bits & Pieces: Round Seventeen

Wed, 13 Sep 2017 07:09:30 -0500

Philosophical concepts that surround life, the universe and everything, including those realms of theology, religions and the nature of deities continue to fascinate. Opinions proliferate. There's the theist pro side; there's the atheist anti-side. There aren't too many fence-sitters. This festival of breaking of the fast, is an important religious holiday celebrated by Islamic worldwide that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting. The holiday celebrates the conclusion of the 29 or 30 days of down to sunset fasting during the entire month of Ramadan.

Tear Up Those Overdrafts

Mon, 11 Sep 2017 06:45:39 -0500

People are so used to having accounts - we actually love accounts. I don't know if this is because it makes us feel important to open our wallets and pick and choose which card to use.

To See God Through Your Actions

Thu, 07 Sep 2017 07:24:10 -0500

What makes our faith different from other religions? God climbed off his throne and came to live among us.

The Fruits of an Intimate Relationship With God

Thu, 07 Sep 2017 07:24:01 -0500

Let's look at our relationship with God again. We must be singled-minded in our pursuit of an intimate relationship with God.

God's Truth or Not

Thu, 07 Sep 2017 07:23:51 -0500

Each of us has a personal responsibility to test whether the information we hear and see fits within God's truth. So many people spread their own understanding of the Bible as the only correct way of understanding.

Roots of Faith

Thu, 07 Sep 2017 07:23:38 -0500

I've found that faith is never an issue until we face some kind of trouble. Then, suddenly, a whole lot of questions pop up and before we know it, doubt comes knocking on the door.

Like a Tree With Deep Roots

Thu, 07 Sep 2017 07:23:35 -0500

This is your instruction: 6You received Christ Jesus, the Master; now live him. We must stop living like children of God only now and then.

Pushing Against the Gate

Thu, 07 Sep 2017 07:23:34 -0500

We've been living in this house for 10 years and we really like living here. The house has a flat roof with concealed guttering (the gutters are hidden behind the facia boards to make the house look prettier).

All You Need

Thu, 07 Sep 2017 07:19:55 -0500

We don't have the skills to walk through life on our own. Just look at our track record, it doesn't look good.

The Passover Meal and the Lord's Supper

Wed, 06 Sep 2017 20:51:50 -0500

God cares for us just like he cared for his children in Egypt long ago. In fact, He made a way for us to get out of our messes too. Just like Pharaoh, we have our ups and downs, but Jesus died on the cross for all the wrong things we have done. If we believe in him and ask him to come into our hearts, he makes a way for us to go to Heaven.

No-Go Zones for the US and How Militant Islam May Be Neutralized

Wed, 06 Sep 2017 09:14:39 -0500

With Europe being trashed by Muslim immigrants, many wonder what's coming to the US. We have some no-go zones, but here is a prophetic picture that's right on target.

In and Out the Casket at Our Funeral

Tue, 05 Sep 2017 11:54:36 -0500

In Colossians 2, Paul tells the people clearly and persistently about Jesus' death on the cross and what it means for sin. We are going to look at this subject a few times.

Hurricane Harvey And The Religious Right Wing

Mon, 04 Sep 2017 08:23:30 -0500

Are 'natural' disasters (like Hurricane Harvey) acts by Mother Nature or acts by God? If they are acts by God then they are signs of God's wrath against the wicked. God's wrath is the position taken by the extreme elements of the religious Christian right-wing fundamentalists and evangelists. It's hogwash.

A Mystery Revealed

Mon, 04 Sep 2017 08:17:10 -0500

Paul was chosen to reveal a mystery (secret) that would engulf every human being. No longer would God's people be limited to the Jews, but an "open adoption" was offered to anyone who accepted His Son.

Final Cut

Mon, 04 Sep 2017 08:16:34 -0500

Sometimes my wife gets quite upset when I forget to bring what she asked for from the shops. Many are the times I've been sent to get bread only to return with everything but bread.

Do the Work God Assigns to You - No Excuses Accepted

Fri, 01 Sep 2017 07:19:26 -0500

It's often in wilderness experiences that we really see God at work, and the events Exodus 3:1-15 are a good example. Moses grew up in a position of privilege in Pharaoh's palace, but because he killed an Egyptian, he fled into the wilderness. Forty years later, we see him tending his father-in-law's flock when God gets his attention. God appeared in an ordinary way that was extraordinary at the same time.

The Truth About Islam

Thu, 31 Aug 2017 09:56:46 -0500

Throughout the centuries of religions, Islam has perceived to be one of the most renowned religions of all time. Through its rivalries against Christianity and Judaism, Islam has made a huge impact today as it has created over 1.5 billion followers, many of them originally being non-Muslims. Islam was well put together for many centuries but all of that changed on September 11, 2001. Islam was never treated the same by non-Muslims. Islam is currently in a state of controversy today as most of you non-Muslims are misguided or confused by what you see in the media. I am here to correct you non-Muslims misconception about both women treatment and violence in Islam.

Money-Minting Tirupati

Wed, 30 Aug 2017 08:11:37 -0500

Way back in 1970, the agnostic Khushwant Singh carried an intrepid article in 'The Illustrated Weekly'. It was on Tirupati temple in South. The article was based upon devout people's collective stupidity to donate money and also their hair. Khushwant added a very pertinent statement: 'Bribery is so deeply inveterate in the consciousness of Indians that we nonchalantly bribe even our gods and they too happily get bribed!'

How to Survive the Storms of Life

Tue, 29 Aug 2017 21:11:16 -0500

The story of Paul's voyage to Rome, part of which we heard in Acts 27:27-44, with its trials and triumphs, is an example of the way of faith all through the story of human life. Its remarkable feature is the hard and narrow places which we find intermingled with God's most extraordinary plans and providences. It's full of examples of night and day experiences.

What Your Pastor May Not Tell You About Miracles

Mon, 28 Aug 2017 06:56:22 -0500

Sunday last week, I attended a church service in one of the pentecostal churches in Lagos, Nigeria. A friend, who claimed to be born-again and spirit-filled, was the one that invited me to the church. He is a member of the church.

Sitting, Standing, and Walking

Mon, 28 Aug 2017 06:55:40 -0500

The Christian life is a life of progression. It is more than simply confessing what we believe; rather, it is a continual life-changing experience that pursues the on-going revelations of the Holy Spirit.

To Whom Is Revelation 17:1 Referring To?

Sat, 26 Aug 2017 07:41:16 -0500

We are told that she sits upon many 'waters', and that means 'seas'. Religion is a sea which spreads over the land and soaks into the ground, which is a metaphor for people. The Catholic Church identifies itself as the 'Holy See', although it's changed the noun from 'sea'.

Faith Makes the Impossible Possible

Thu, 24 Aug 2017 15:29:54 -0500

Have you ever noticed that some people are threatened by the prosperity and success of other people? If you're looking for a good example of this, you don't have to look any further than the passage from Exodus 1:8-2:10.

Why Uncovering Religious Deception Is Important

Wed, 23 Aug 2017 21:05:10 -0500

With people rampaging and killing many so they can get to heaven it has created an urgency to expose the organisations that support these things. Islam is the culprit because it started as a violent and hate filled religion whose roots are in Babylon, its original home. This is what most people don't get because the many branches of it have refined their doctrines to the point where there is no obvious connection.

Salvation Gospel: God Is Worthy To Be Praised

Wed, 23 Aug 2017 10:44:00 -0500

God is worthy to receive all the Glory, Honour and Power. He alone is qualified to receive all of it. None other person (living or dead; physical or spiritual; visible or invisible; etc) is eligible to take an infinitesimal part of the glory. God's glory should not be shared by any other.

Citizens of Zion

Wed, 23 Aug 2017 09:15:44 -0500

Ephesians 6: 19 "Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God's people and also members of His household". Life is spiritual like it is always said. In other words, life begins from the spiritual realm, the realm that can't be seen with the human eyes but through the eyes of faith, we see it.

More Counter-Arguments to Christian Theist Arguments

Tue, 22 Aug 2017 06:51:43 -0500

Theists in general and Christians in particular have put forth dozens of arguments and written thousands of books as to why God exists, why Jesus was resurrected, why the Bible is a true account of God's word and divine plan, and so on and so on. Atheists don't believe a word of this but of necessity have to put up some counter arguments. Here's another round of arguments atheists can use against theists when you ask them what they believe and why, or they ask you why you don't, and why.

Criticism of Behaviour Is Not Hate When It's the Truth

Tue, 22 Aug 2017 06:43:49 -0500

How many think that criticism of a religion or system proven to be incorrect is hate? Religions that worship the sun and moon as gods are among the evil things of the world. Neither of the celestial bodies can be considered divine when they are only inanimate objects that perform in the universal structure.

Name Them One By One

Mon, 21 Aug 2017 08:02:15 -0500

Believers are the most blessed people in the world, at least according to Biblical script. Yet in reality, our behavior seems to conflict the evidence of spiritual blessings. We are so blessed, yet we don't act like it.

What Is Sharia Law and How Is It Infiltrating Western Democracy?

Sat, 19 Aug 2017 09:43:55 -0500

It is supposed to be the law of Islam, that is as cast from Muhammad's words. He supposedly dictated the Quran. It regulates public and private behaviour and even private beliefs.

How Closely Aligned Is the Islamic Faith With Christianity?

Sat, 19 Aug 2017 09:43:41 -0500

Most people would be horrified at the suggestion and yet they are not only closely aligned but the Christian Faith was born directly from Babylonian Islamic religion. While the incorrect stories of Jesus Christ and the virgin birth have been brain-washed into just about everyone in the west, it never happened. This event was the brain-child of Constantine, Roman Caesar and murderer of hundreds of thousands, and he is 666 (Revelation 13:12-18) The deception that the Catholic Church has engaged in since he established it in 325 AD is mind-blowing.

Those Tens of Thousands of Young, Frenetic, and Deceived Mormon Missionaries

Fri, 18 Aug 2017 19:08:25 -0500

From early 1961, the six-discussion-toting Mormon (LDS) full-time missionaries began to exude, by the thousands, from the LDS Mission Training Center, on the BYU campus in Provo, Utah, to be sent all over the USA, Canada, and most of the free-world, to barrage unwitting Christians with a standard uniform presentation of Mormon theology, doctrine, and history containing deliberately prepared misrepresentations and outright lies about real Mormon theology, doctrine and history. Decades have passed since 1961, and now their are approximately 90,000 full-time Mormon missionaries ubiquitously working throughout the world, especially the in the USA to lead struggling Christian souls into a web of theological and doctrinal deception for the purpose of deceiving them into believing that Mormonism is Christian and totally biblical in theology and doctrine. But Mormonism is not Christian to any degree, but a cult dedicated to a theology of pagan polytheism. The purpose of this article is to educate those Christians who have been led to believe that a Mormon knock on their doors is an invitation to learn about Christianity. It is not! Read on for an explication of these issues...

The World Blinded by Religious Deceit

Fri, 18 Aug 2017 08:34:50 -0500

The depth of lies and misinformation by religious organisations is so great that it has boxed everyone inside it. There is no escape as any attempt to correct it is instantly thwarted by rhetoric and threats that lead to a fear so horrendous that no one wants to go there. That is called 'hell' and an eternal fire of pain and suffering.

Why Is God A Powerful Spirit in the Old Testament and a Male Trinity in the New Testament?

Tue, 15 Aug 2017 22:30:41 -0500

Genesis Chapter 1 verses 1 and 2 describes God as the Great Creator and Spirit. This is repeated throughout the Old Testament (OT) but in the New Testament (NT) things have changed. God is suddenly a male entity of three parts, which is foolhardy and unacceptable to rational readers of the bible.

Why Is God Concerned With Israel in the Old Testament and the World in the New Testament?

Tue, 15 Aug 2017 22:30:36 -0500

There is a great divide between the two gods of the bible. In the Old Testament (OT) it is the Great Spirit of the Universe while the New Testament (NT) is an invention of Constantine, who is 666 in Revelation 13:18. The religion of the latter is the Catholic Church from which all of Christianity arose.

'Vashikaran' is comprised by joining of two words- 'vashi' and 'karan'. It literally means to control someone else's thoughts and actions. Vashikaran is also a science and is very much true.

Stumbling Faith

Tue, 15 Aug 2017 07:03:27 -0500

The Colossians' faith was something special, an example even for Paul: 5... I am delighted to hear of the careful and orderly ways you conduct your affairs, and impressed with the solid substance of your faith in Christ. Even though things weren't going that well for them, even though they were by far in the minority, even though they were sometimes persecuted simply for believing in Jesus, they did not turn their backs on Jesus. Nothing they had to face could steal their faith in God.

Pictures From the Heart

Tue, 15 Aug 2017 07:02:44 -0500

People don't always realise that the way they act reflects what is going on inside their hearts. Your actions are linked directly to your heart.

Back to the Nets

Sun, 13 Aug 2017 16:07:27 -0500

How many Believers are in self-imposed exile? We are harder on ourselves than Jesus would be. Jesus knows that we love Him, no matter what we have done. He still has things for us to do, but we must first surrender our "nets" of entanglement.

Richest Treasures

Sat, 12 Aug 2017 10:03:00 -0500

Every day we see shiny treasures being advertised on television, on billboards along the road, and in catalogues left in our mail boxes. Shiny, expensive diamonds in rings and necklaces looking so very appealing.

Arguments and So On

Sat, 12 Aug 2017 10:02:35 -0500

I don't like arguing. I suspect it's because I'm too dumb to understand everything at once.

Is Religion a Thinking Tool for The Spiritually Uninformed?

Sat, 12 Aug 2017 08:12:06 -0500

While they are strong words the undeniable fact puts religions of all persuasion into the category of being thinking tools for the spiritually uninformed. They are all products of sun-worship. The systems are born of ancient practices at a time when the earth was flat, the cosmos was a continuation of the ocean, and creation happened in six days.

False Healers Versus Jesus, the True Healer

Fri, 11 Aug 2017 11:44:06 -0500

Have you ever wondered if people who claim to heal in Jesus' name are true healers or fake healers? If so, you're not alone. People have had the same question throughout history, and we see that in the passage from Acts 19:11-20.

Not Even Jealousy Can Stop God

Fri, 11 Aug 2017 11:43:37 -0500

Have you ever been so jealous of someone that you couldn't speak to them or perhaps you even hated them? This envy comes from deep insecurity and has led to the downfall of many people. The passage from Genesis 37:1-4,12-28 reveals the dangers of playing favourites. God constantly uses the lives of Bible characters to teach us, encourage us and warn us.

Crime Is a Tool Used by God

Fri, 11 Aug 2017 09:31:44 -0500

The evil in the world is such that it has plunged the planet into extreme darkness. People kill each other and the world stands now on a precipice waiting for the conflagration that may end everything. As the threat of nuclear war looms larger and is possibly closer than at any other time many are reflecting on why it happening.

Angels of Light or Dark, Twisted Minds

Thu, 10 Aug 2017 06:47:42 -0500

Having never heard of the expression 'angels of light' it was run into the Search Engines and the result was extremely confusing. It appears that it is a description of Satan and others who do its work. Well, that leaves me stunned because it was posted as a comment on an article in which my reincarnation was mentioned.

Does God Exist? And The Great Intellectual Trap

Tue, 08 Aug 2017 14:39:38 -0500

There is proof of the existence of God. But the real question we must ask isn't if God exists. It's what is the nature of God?

Threads of Love

Mon, 07 Aug 2017 06:54:05 -0500

Some Anti-Theist Religious Bits & Pieces: Round Sixteen

Mon, 07 Aug 2017 06:53:39 -0500

Philosophical concepts that surround life, the universe and everything, including those realms of theology, religions and the nature of deities continue to fascinate. Opinions proliferate. There's the theist pro side; there's the atheist anti-side. There aren't too many fence-sitters. I'm still in the anti-camp as the following sixteenth helping of "Religious Bits and Pieces" illustrate.

The Difference Between Sins And Sinfulness

Mon, 07 Aug 2017 06:51:45 -0500

According to conservative Christian doctrine we have a sinful nature from conception. Yet humans are capable of good, as the Lord shows when He states that no parent will give a stone for a bread. There is also much difference between Catholics and Protestants as to the doctrine of being born again.

Why Are Catholics So Vulnerable and Accepting of Their Faith?

Mon, 07 Aug 2017 06:41:13 -0500

It's a question that has puzzled me all my life. Watching them perform their rituals while willingly accepting the many lies and false messages tha church leaders dish out leaves me stunned. With memory of my reincarnation and knowledge that everyone has returned the same way and that there is no heaven or hell made me aware of the myths they take for granted.

Whose Way?

Sun, 06 Aug 2017 18:09:32 -0500

The key to success in our Kingdom journey is to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. Sometimes the Believers want to see the result before an action is initiated. What it comes down to, is whose way to we choose to follow?

Why Is Sunday the Holiest Day For Christians?

Sun, 06 Aug 2017 08:32:30 -0500

How many Christians regularly go to church on Sunday and never question why? What is different about this day than any other? Who made it the holiest day and when?

The Origin of the Muslim Claim of Seven Virgins in Paradise

Sun, 06 Aug 2017 08:24:57 -0500

A documentary on the archaeology of the Tower of Babel led me to the conclusion that it was used for producing the sun-star. This was shown to me in a vision when commissioned by the Spirit of the Universe to tear down the wall of blindness and expose the roots of religion. My reincarnation confirmed that religions are based on myths as there is no heaven or hell, while devils, angels, and saints are part of the window dressing.

My Power Source

Sat, 05 Aug 2017 10:04:50 -0500

In the previous section we heard that like Paul, we must go all out to share the Gospel. Like an athlete goes all out to win a race, we must use all our energy to make a difference wherever we go.

Jesus According to the Gospels

Sat, 05 Aug 2017 10:03:01 -0500

Jesus was either a supernatural entity, a mortal human, or purely mythological. There's no independent non-Biblical source that can be verified for a supernatural Jesus and nothing that's contemporary with the actual time of Jesus to verify even his mortal status. The gospels are so inconsistent that it is hard to believe they are recording actual events, so I conclude in all probability that Jesus is a mythological being, like Hercules, thus accounting for why his actual existence can't be historically verified, nor can his alleged miracles.

Having a Heart for Others

Thu, 03 Aug 2017 12:02:52 -0500

One day when I get to heaven one of my first appointments will be with Paul. I would really like to get to know him personally; he was such a remarkable man.

Misconceived Love

The Sophistry of Mormon Apologetics, Nephite Coins, and One Apologist's Utterly Confused Dilemma

Tue, 01 Aug 2017 06:56:24 -0500

What if Edgar Rice Burroughs had, in 1912, used his vivid and creative imagination to fabricate a book about a man in Africa, Tarzan, regarded as a god by all the indigenous black tribes, and given super-human powers by the pagan gods of the earth? He could have easily done this with his profound ability to contrive believable fiction. Could he have possibly created a religious following by producing such a version of "Tarzan of the Apes?" A good and wise person once responded to my claim in 1976, as a Mormon missionary, that Joseph Smith, Jr. had done something humanly impossible by creating a book about ancient America called the Book of Mormon, about the ancient indigenous inhabitants of America. He simply replied that Edgar Rice Burroughs had done it more correctly than Smith. I had then arrogantly disregarded what he had said, but later realized that while Smith had concocted an unbelievable anachronistic story about the Native Americans by not doing his research about Mesoamerica, Burroughs had done his homework about Africa. Smith and his literary cohorts were inventive, but very wrong about Ancient America, especially about religious and cultural details. Read on for an explication...

Bible Prophecies Deny the Christian Trinity and the Existence of Heaven and Hell

Sun, 30 Jul 2017 20:03:19 -0500

The hiatus in religious beliefs came about some 2,000 years ago when Christianity came to life and the work of 666 took hold. Yes, the two things are linked because the latter established the Catholic Church and built the first Christian places of worship. He invented Jesus Christ and recycled the Islamic religion and Mother God of Babylon in such a way as to hide the roots.

Draining The Swamp

Sun, 30 Jul 2017 20:03:11 -0500

Political and Religious corruption has been an issue of concern for generations. Almost every newly elected politician faces the challenge to eradicate the quagmire of self interest groups in the political arena. Sadly with the religious community there also is a swamp of corruption.

Go to Zarephath (2)

Sun, 30 Jul 2017 10:39:23 -0500

The 'brook' may cease but our source is unstoppable! When the brook at Cherith dried up, God opened another channel at Zarephath. The brook was just a channel but heaven was the real source. Maybe your brook, the channel, the instrument God has been using to sustain you has stopped or is about to, don't panic yet, because there is another, greater door that is opening for you today! You will see it! As you read and believe this message, the doors are opening for you in the name of Jesus! God is our actual source and He never dries up! The streams may cease, the ravens may fly away, the meat and the bread may stop, but our divine source, the ocean of wealth - Jehovah will never run out of supplies.
