What Is Sin When Men Who Commit It Are Able to Forgive It?

Fri, 21 Jul 2017 08:29:08 -0500

Religions which preach sin are fraudulently misleading their followers because there is no such thing in the eyes of God. It is something that has emerged as a result of the dreams of ancestral beings who brought about a scenario that they can rise up and become gods. While it is impossible for anyone to accomplish that the way they brought it about was to make everyone else believe it.

No Doubt About It

Wed, 19 Jul 2017 15:30:38 -0500

Business people are often overcome by stress. But they are not the only ones.

Hope in a Hopeless Time

Wed, 19 Jul 2017 15:30:12 -0500

There is always a crisis lying in wait for all of us. Life out there is not easy.

Back to God's Drawing Board

Wed, 19 Jul 2017 15:29:48 -0500

These past few days we've been confronted with our own responsibility in respect of our faith in God. Paul shows us a template of a true child of God and we have to see whether or not we fit into that template.

Forgiveness of Sins and the Increase in Crime

Wed, 19 Jul 2017 06:58:48 -0500

With a link to the Spirit it showed me many visions to explain the role of religion in bringing the world into crisis. In one of these a ribbon stretched from Rome to Sicily and then wound itself around the planet until everything was black. In another vision I saw that black as something that nothing could penetrate.

What I Really Think of Jezebel

Tue, 18 Jul 2017 14:56:24 -0500

This article tries to analyze the life and death of Queen Jezebel of Jezreel-the infamous wicked female character in the Bible. The author wishes to shed light to her already tarnished image by a feminist's viewpoint.

Where The Sun Is Still Chief God

Tue, 18 Jul 2017 07:04:39 -0500

The celestial body that shines all day and is responsible for the essential things of life was considered a god by the ancients. But it maintains that role in religions to this day. One may ask how that can be possible but ignorance and a lack of understanding has enabled religions to get away with such fraud for centuries.

The Crushing of the Assyrian on God's Mountain

Tue, 18 Jul 2017 07:03:16 -0500

The identity of this guy is well protected not only by those who cover over his work but by the Spirit of the Universe, the real God. He was given the power over all tongues and nations to do his worst, and that has been accomplished. The problem is that men who added to prophecies in the bible have helped to cover over the crimes of his organisation and, thereby, increased them.

How 666 Assumed the Role of God

Tue, 18 Jul 2017 07:02:43 -0500

One might consider that this would be impossible. How can a man become God? The answer is not only surprising but says a lot about the gullibility of people who are pushed psychologically to their limit.

How 666 Passed on His Power Through Popes

Tue, 18 Jul 2017 07:02:13 -0500

Roman Emperors considered appointed by God were gods in their own right. Constantine, who bears the number 666 on his name, claimed he was the son of Apollo. This image, invented by the Greeks, was a personified version of the sun.

Basing Decisions On Truth Allows People to Take Responsibility For The Outcome

Mon, 17 Jul 2017 09:01:13 -0500

People faced with decision making need to know the facts on which to base their decisions. They need to know their options in order to make the best possible choices. After they know the facts, they are responsible for their decisions and the outcomes. They have no one to blame but themselves for untoward outcomes. On the other hand, if their decisions are based on partial truths, they could be surprised by the outcome and may even feel that others are to blame for their predicament.

How the Temple of Jupiter Became the Church of St Peter

Mon, 17 Jul 2017 07:02:34 -0500

In the Roman Empire Jupiter was the head of the Trinity gods, along with Juno and Minerva. It was always the way in ancient religions that there were three persons in the god-head. This is something religions born of the Romans could not escape and Christianity is one of them.

The Window Dressing and Weapons That Religions Depend on For Survival

Mon, 17 Jul 2017 07:02:32 -0500

Religious institutions are businesses that depend on the public for survival. Their wares include promoted advantages such as eternal life in heaven, favouritism with their gods, and communities of like-minded people. They trade these things for money and power while they threaten eternal damnation to those who oppose them.

I Want A Miracle

Sun, 16 Jul 2017 20:57:18 -0500

When does a supernatural occurrence qualify as a miracle? All all miracles supernatural manifestations? Does our faith move God, or does God move independently of our faith?

Men Who Preach Religion Don't Speak for God

Sun, 16 Jul 2017 20:35:25 -0500

Claiming that they speak for The Almighty is one thing, proving it is another. The basic human act of marriage is a case in point whereby the preacher claims that two people are joined together by God and that no one will be allowed to separate them. This is typical hocus pocus and nothing for the couple has actually changed.

The Abracadabra Words of Religious Hocus Pocus

Sun, 16 Jul 2017 20:35:01 -0500

While magicians try to fool their audience into believing that they have supernatural power religious preachers are of the same ilk. Not one of them speaks or acts for and on behalf of the real God. They don't even know who the Great Power is and they avoid any contact with the Spirit of the Universe.

Which Taskmaster Would You Like - Harsh Cold Legalism, Or Our Gracious Loving Forgiving Christ?

Sun, 16 Jul 2017 13:44:40 -0500

Paul was delivered from the LAW, and he was delivered from SELF! He had been confronted by the risen and living Lord Jesus Whom he did not believe existed! Many have found themselves in that situation over these past two thousand years. He was baptised in water and his former legalistic religion was killed off and he died to these old ways and habits. The law is a hard harsh taskmaster. Do this. Do that. Sacrifice these. What a 'taskmaster' we have now - One who loves us - who gave His Life for us - Who shed His blood to wash us - One who heals - protects - preserves - guards - guides - forgives. Which 'taskmaster' do we wish to have? We will have one or the other!

Dangerous Theocracies That Prevail in the World: Roman Catholicism, Mormonism, and Islam

Sun, 16 Jul 2017 08:38:24 -0500

The issue of "who speaks for God" has been a matter of controversy among religious sects ever since Cain killed his brother Abel and went off to create his own disparate following in a land called Nod. Especially after the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus, millennia later, man has sinfully created his own pagan gospels for the purpose of controlling the lives of those human disciples who are persuaded to follow the commandments of men, and not of the true living God of heaven and earth. There are three religions existent upon the earth today that are basic theocracies, which proclaim that God tells only one person on the earth, an oracle, what all other human beings are supposed to know. These dangerous religions are Roman Catholicism, Mormonism, and Islam, and the oracles for each of them are popes, prophets, and caliphates. These theocracies deny that Jesus Christ can reveal to any Christian, by the power of the Holy Spirit, what is, supposedly, revealed only to Catholic popes and Mormon prophets. The heresy of Islam totally denies the Savior Jesus Christ and places the power of the Islamic Allah in the hands of presiding caliphs. Read on...

The Magic in Religions and Those Fooled Into Believing It

Sun, 16 Jul 2017 07:05:33 -0500

Religions are full of magic. Most wouldn't even know but the abracadabra words and phrases said at rituals, such as weddings, are designed to change one's perspective of reality. 'Those whom God have joined together' are fake words designed to empower the church to dictated how people use their sexuality.

Farming God's Way

Sat, 15 Jul 2017 12:36:04 -0500

How many of you have planted a garden? If you have, you know that there is a lot of work involved such as preparing the soil, pulling weeds and watering the soil. Perhaps the most important task is planting seeds. There are at least two ways to plant the seeds. One is to kneel on the ground and plant the seeds. Another way is to walk along and scatter the seeds, and that's the example Jesus used in Matthew 13:1-9, 18-23.

Can We Learn Deep Lessons About Spiritual Faithfulness From the Farmer Who Could Not Sell His Milk?

Sat, 15 Jul 2017 10:45:00 -0500

Might it be becoming more difficult in these days to remain faithful to Almighty God, and to remain, loyal, and true to Jesus Christ, the Son of God, when some in positions of 'leadership' in the visible church are turning away from the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments? There is a massive difference between what we see as the visible church, and the Church of Jesus Christ. How can we remain faithful, and loyal, and true to Jesus Christ and His Word, in a day of spiritual treason? Our faithfulness as disciples of Jesus Christ will be tested.

Why Are Catholic Priests Married to Mary?

Wed, 12 Jul 2017 19:52:38 -0500

My research uncovered shocking and quite disgusting evidence of practices within the Catholic Church. From its establishment in 325 AD it has covered over its roots and buried the facts that it is the recycled Islamic religion of Babylon. Through tricks, mysteries, and magic it continues as it began and Mary, its principal object of worship, is none other than the stylised female image of the sun.

Hypocrisy in Islam

Wed, 12 Jul 2017 13:39:53 -0500

One of the bad and despised conducts not wanted in people is insincerity. Can't is to try to gain people's appreciation, by making oneself pleasant in the works related to this world and the hereafter.

Why Would Someone Need a Degree to Understand God and Biblical Teachings?

Wed, 12 Jul 2017 06:57:03 -0500

The answer to that question is rather obvious. Only through studies designed to support the lies within the New Testament and the changes and additions to the Old Testament could anyone make sense of them. The conflicts, contradictions, and straight out improbable and exaggerated claims makes the bible a closed and incomprehensible statement.

Did Jesus Christ Exist in Light of Modern Knowledge and Old Testament Prophecies?

Wed, 12 Jul 2017 06:57:00 -0500

The claims of his coming to earth as the Son of God and that he is part of a Trinity is as weird, wild, and inconceivable as any of the lies and hype of religious origin. Some note that he died on a cross to shed his blood to wipe away sin and that only through blood can such be forgiven. To top it off they purport that he arose after death and then ascended into heaven were he sits on a throne on the right hand of God.

Did Jesus Carry His Crossbeam or His Entire Cross?

Tue, 11 Jul 2017 20:30:35 -0500

Every good Christian is familiar with the story of Jesus Christ's Passion. If you are not a Christian, but have seen the movie, The Passion of the Christ, it's difficult to forget the gruesome parts - His brutal chastisement, the arduous way to the cross, and the horrifying crucifixion. Most forms of media from early medieval paintings to modern movies show a fatigued, hunched over Jesus carrying the wooden cross to Golgatha (the place of the skull) where He was crucified.

A Holy, Impeccable, Unblemished Life

Mon, 10 Jul 2017 07:29:56 -0500

If your child or a loved one came to you asking the following question, what would your honest answers be: Are you holy, impeccable and unblemished? Well, I know myself very well and, unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to answer yes to any of the three.

They Missed It

Mon, 10 Jul 2017 07:21:11 -0500

The Bible is not a Lego manual, whee man builds his own theology. It is not a book to pick and choose what we think will satisfy our spiritual lives. It is God's Truth that needs to be discovered.

Religious Hate and Power Built an Impenetrable Wall of Lies and Deceit

Mon, 10 Jul 2017 06:59:45 -0500

Terrorism born of religious hate is one of the reasons for the world's decline. It has given power into the hands of dictators who for some decades have used it to suppress their people and increase their wealth. Leaders in such places do not necessarily become such by peaceful means.

Religious Laws Oppose Natural Instincts

Sat, 08 Jul 2017 08:13:38 -0500

The weirdest thing about religion is how much of it opposes natural instinct and sexual drive. The entrapment is designed to bring people into situations of control and power by the establishment. Making them feel guilty because they are outside of what their pastors claim is God's will, is abuse of human rights.

Religious Teachings and Traditions Behind Community Hate

Sat, 08 Jul 2017 08:11:51 -0500

Countries globally are subjected to the hate bred into their subjects and impacting on societies. The irresponsible and inconceivable attitudes of governments towards tolerance of such is bringing the world to an end. This is the work of the Second Beast of Revelation 13 who has control on the World Order even though he died almost 2,000 years ago.

Do You Realise What Was Really at Stake When This Amazingly Accurate Letter Was Written?

Fri, 07 Jul 2017 08:53:04 -0500

Do you realise that what was at stake then is at stake today? It is as serious as this in the ethical and moral and political and religious and spiritual arenas. Man likes to separate these into different arenas but basically there is one arena. There is one compartment and if we get it wrong in one area we can soon get things wrong in other areas of life. One just has to think of the moral and ethical mess mankind is in just now over the matter of abortion. What is it that makes a man turn away from the Scriptures, and from Jesus Christ, and from Almighty God? It is nothing other than sin, and that is the word which is seldom used in certain circles today. I wonder why? Who do you think is behind that?

How to Be a Success

Fri, 07 Jul 2017 08:18:28 -0500

We lead to believe having wealth, high social status or prominence in business is what success is all about. Real success is accepting the Christian Gospel and peace with God.

Spiritual Tug of War - God and Us Versus the Devil

Thu, 06 Jul 2017 11:24:57 -0500

How many of you have ever played a game of tug-of-war? If you have, you might be able to understand the conflict Paul is talking about in Romans 7:15-25, because we as Christians are in a spiritual tug-of-war. Our old, sinful nature is not removed when we accept Christ as our Saviour. That old-sinful nature fights against our Christ-filled nature.

Where Is Intelligence and Logic in Religious Claims?

Thu, 06 Jul 2017 06:56:01 -0500

My experience and memory of reincarnation leaves me to wonder why so many believe in and accept an alternative. It does not take a genius to know that heaven and hell are non-existent. One has only to look into the universe beyond earth to know that.

A Few Mini Religious Shorts

Wed, 05 Jul 2017 07:23:24 -0500

Of all of those Big Questions central to philosophical concepts that surround life, the universe and everything, the realms of theology and religions and the nature of deities continue to fascinate. There's the pro side; there's the anti-side. There aren't too many fence-sitters. I'm in the anti-camp as the following mini religious short pieces illustrate.

There Is No Judgement After Death and No Such Places As Heaven or Hell

Mon, 03 Jul 2017 20:20:44 -0500

As a child the stories of heaven and hell left me wondering whether those around me would ever know what was clear to me. My reincarnation provided awareness that neither place exists. Memory of my between lives journey was preserved by a language that was different to my parents.

An Existential Analysis of Tropes in the Book of Job

Sun, 02 Jul 2017 21:57:22 -0500

It's an existential analysis of the Tropes in the Biblical Book of Job. The analysis pertains to the Philosophy of Literature.

We Are God's Welcome Mat

Sun, 02 Jul 2017 21:50:12 -0500

In the passage we heard from Matthew's Gospel, Jesus talks about welcoming people. Generally, Matthew emphasizes the disciples being good hosts, but in this passage, he turns that around. The disciples are the ones being cared for by others. Similarly, as modern-day messengers of God, we need to be gracious guests and accept help from others.

There's No Such Thing As The Devil

Sun, 02 Jul 2017 21:48:10 -0500

Here, there is a challenge to the traditional concept of The Devil. Explored is the reason for the creation of the Devil by religions.

Millions Remember Reincarnation, So Why Is It Ignored by Religious Groups?

Sun, 02 Jul 2017 21:20:38 -0500

Floating, standing, or simply being above my body looking down on a man of around 45 years slumped on the seat of a dray in a paddock is not something I can forget. The horse stood patiently in the sun as darkness overtook me and the Universal Spirit and I became one. The feeling was incredible and the power indescribable.

Women Discriminated Against in Mainstream Religions

Sun, 02 Jul 2017 09:40:53 -0500

While it is an appalling fact that women are discriminated against in societies and employment it is the religions that are most at fault. One after the other targets them as being lower than men in all aspects. In early Christianity, as with Judaism, they were deemed not to have souls or to be condemned by God as mere chattels of men.

Why God Kept Secrets and Hid Behind a Web of Deceit

Wed, 28 Jun 2017 20:34:16 -0500

Chief among the secrets that God kept from us is reincarnation. We have all returned over and again and in each life we were pushed, pulled, tested, and sometimes brutally murdered. Those who have a link to the Spirit of the Universe grew stronger while others weakened.

God and the Holy Spirit Are for Everyone

Wed, 28 Jun 2017 11:17:52 -0500

There is a difference between the Lord being on our agenda and us being on His agenda. God urges us to keep our focus on Him. God is preparing the next step for each of us. God will move us on in our growth. He won't let us stay where we are. He will gently nudge us and give us the desire to receive what He wants to give us. He will involve us with people who need Him more than they need their next breath.

Images and Man's Imagination Built the Wall of Deceit Against the Universal Spirit

Tue, 27 Jun 2017 21:24:15 -0500

Religious stories of prophets and the so-called Sons of God pervade the cultural framework of man's existence and are responsible for the state of the world. As the planet sinks into decline the hope of many is that after death they will live in luxury in heaven or paradise. This is the folly as they have pinned their dreams on myths.

Why the Romans Were Islamic in Their Beliefs and Why the Real God Is Outraged

Tue, 27 Jun 2017 06:46:04 -0500

This fact has been hidden by religious leaders and governments to protect them from the scandal that must now ensue. Following my reincarnation, the Spirit of the Universe, the real God, with whom I maintain a link, commissioned me to unravel the mysteries that have prevailed. It ordered me with great power to 'tear down the wall of churches and bring in the harvest.

Who Is God in Man's Eyes and Which One Is Real, If Any?

Mon, 26 Jun 2017 10:56:33 -0500

Every religion has its own god or gods and ways of worshipping them. From the costumes on display and the colours they exhibit to the variety of performances in rituals they demonstrate that no two are the same. From pre-historic times until now the growth of such has left the world reeling in a maze of deceit and confusion.

What About Those Asleep?

Sun, 25 Jun 2017 21:40:31 -0500

Are those who have died, still in the grave? Is there a resurrection? When does that take place? What is Paradise? What about Heaven? What is Hades? This article attempts to address these subjects.

Dr D Martyn Lloyd-Jones on Sufficiency and Efficiency

Sun, 25 Jun 2017 10:37:36 -0500

That the Atonement has become a controversial doctrine no one will deny. That said, it is a fact that all theologians agree that the Gospel is to be proclaimed to all nations. But what does that mean?

Christians And Overwork - Strategies For Restoration

Sun, 25 Jun 2017 10:30:03 -0500

Some Christians, whether in full-time service or not, are inclined to overwork. Occasional overwork is not unusual, and is not my focus here. Many Christians enjoy enormously what they are doing; feel a huge drive to live for Christ, and in the process use up large reserves of mental and emotional energy. But then, something happens, and over time, everything begins to look dull and dreary. Are there any insights or strategies that may help towards a recovery?

Preachers Taught by Men Do Not Work for God

Sun, 25 Jun 2017 08:12:30 -0500

It's outrageous to put someone on a pedestal and claim that he works for God when, in fact, he has been taught and conditioned by others into the role. Universities conduct degrees in theology and related subjects for the sole purpose of producing such people. In the fulfilment of their dreams to serve God those who undertake and complete the courses are proud to be doctors in and graduates of religious studies.

A Message of Salvation

Sat, 24 Jun 2017 09:45:41 -0500

A MESSAGE OF SALVATION I pray that you can pass this Message on. Most Religions don't seem to be able to tell us where EVIL or SIN comes from. They know it exists, but where it comes from is not really that important to them.

Counter-Arguments to Christian Theist Arguments

Sat, 24 Jun 2017 09:41:38 -0500

Theists in general and Christians in particular have put forth dozens of arguments and written thousands of books as to why God exists, why Jesus was resurrected, why the Bible is a true account of God's word and divine plan, and so on and so on. Atheists don't believe a word of this but of necessity have to put up some counter arguments. Here's a sample of those kinds of counter arguments.

You're Never Alone - God Is Always With You

Thu, 22 Jun 2017 13:12:18 -0500

What happens on the day that you realize that you can do something the boss can't? What happens when someone who works for you suddenly surpasses your ability or status? I'll tell you what happens-instant conflict and role reversal. In the passage from Genesis 21:8-21, Hagar starts looking down on Sarah, and in turn Sarah becomes abusive to Hagar.

This Is My God

Stars Became Human Souls in Ancient Religions That Recycled Into Modern Ones

Wed, 21 Jun 2017 06:51:18 -0500

Ideas of heaven and its opposite component hell resulted from a gross misunderstanding of stars and other celestial bodies. With nothing more to go on than observations of the sky the ancients dreamed up stories about what each element supposedly was and of its role in human existence. That was at a time when the earth was thought to be flat, the oceans were an extension of the cosmos, and the rush for power was all important.

TrumpCare and Religious Discrimination Vs WWJD

Tue, 20 Jun 2017 07:58:18 -0500

What would Jesus think of Donald Trump's actions on healthcare and religious freedom? The correlation between stories in the Gospel and today are clear. The message and actions of Jesus are being ignored by advocates of religious liberty and TrumpCare.

Difference Between The Law Of Moses And The Grace Of Christ

Tue, 20 Jun 2017 07:43:10 -0500

There is a terrible mix-up of Mosaic Law and Christian Grace, ranging from hypercalvinism to modern evangelical theology; making Grace as it were the pursuit of the Holy Grail. Others turn Grace into a cheap cover for their own desires. The one turns Christ into a bogeyman and the other into a Saint Nick.

Reproving Sinners and Their Sins Means Openly Discussing the Evil Practice of Sin

Mon, 19 Jun 2017 08:03:42 -0500

Some Christians like to express an aphorism that cannot be found anywhere in the New Testament of the Holy Bible, "Hate the sins, but love the sinners." This bit of advice did not come from Jesus, but from some Christian who defined love, or charity, as an all healing balm, which is not true under all circumstances. Yes, Christians should despise all sins and love all sinners enough to call them to repentance, and show them the error of their ways. But what if the sinner laughs and scorns the Christian who calls him to repentance? Are Christians commanded to continue their association with those sinners? Are their sins too dark and heinous to openly discuss? Are Christians commanded to openly talk about the sins and the sinners, to convince those people that they are openly rebelling against the laws of God? Are parents commanded to discuss these sins with their children to let them know of their evil nature, and are husbands and wives commanded to discuss the disgusting wickedness of those sins? This is what the process of reproof means. Read on for a delineation of these issues...

Being Spiritually Smart

Jesus and God Together Are a Mean Team

The Word of Wisdom: The Not-So-Wise Mormon Health Code Pitted Against the Will of God

Thu, 15 Jun 2017 20:54:58 -0500

When the Son of God, Jesus, came in flesh to the earth, he came to free all mankind from the dictates of the law of carnal commandments. And when he died upon the cross for the sins of mankind, the veil of the temple was rent in twain, which meant that there was no longer a need for a temple and mortal high priests. Jesus became our one and only high priest and mediator with God, and he abolished all codes and requirements that were formerly required by the law, but left intact the Holy Law, the Ten Commandments. After Christ's death, man was no longer bound by codes and laws regulating what he should eat, drink, and wear. The inner man, what is thought and done to, either, glorify God or to sin by making the temple, or the body, impure was Jesus' and his apostles' concern. Nothing that a person could eat or drink would defile the human body. Sexual immorality and other evil acts, evil thoughts, and an evil tongue were the basis for such impurity. Read on about the evil health code of Mormonism given by Joseph Smith.

Spreading the Good News of the Gospel

Thu, 15 Jun 2017 15:14:36 -0500

Just as Jesus called the twelve to deliver the good news, he has also called you and me to deliver the good news. If we don't do our job, someone won't get the good news today.

A Commission for All of Us

Thu, 15 Jun 2017 15:10:41 -0500

The nourishment Jesus offers us as the Bread of Life provides us with the fuel we need to serve others, and that's what the life God gives us is about. God has given us the message and commissioned us to take it to the world. He has given us the methods. All He needs is for us to work together and do our share to reach the world for Christ. Will you make a commitment to help spread the Gospel and thereby be a part of what God is doing in the world today? I urge you to get out of your comfort zone. I urge you to care. I urge you to share. I urge you to pray, and I urge you to ask God for the boldness you will need to carry out His orders.

The Blood of Jesus

Wed, 14 Jun 2017 06:50:10 -0500

Another very powerful weapon that God has given to us is the blood of Jesus Christ. When a believer pleads the blood of Jesus, he/she is automatically protected from the attacks of Satan and his agents. His blood reminds Satan and the demons of their defeat on the cross. The shedding of Christ's blood on the cross, His death and subsequent resurrection brought us back to God and also sealed the eternal doom of Satan and his fallen angels. Sure, taking Jesus to the cross remains one of the things that the devil will eternally regret.

Does God Exist? What Proof Is There?

Tue, 13 Jun 2017 14:46:14 -0500

Proof of the existence of God is always requested. But the question we must first ask is what kind of proof would be enough? While many people believe the best proof God could give is to "do something only God could do" they haven't considered what it is that only God could do! So this article will help define what proof could be enough.

Without Baggage

To God All Glory

Mon, 12 Jun 2017 07:47:25 -0500

Often our prayers sound like shopping lists. Some people's prayers sound different, but if yours sound like mine, it's mostly a list of things I'm asking for: Please keep that or this one safe, please sort out this problem, heal him or her, and so we keep on asking God for one intervention after the other.

The Upper Room Experiences

Sun, 11 Jun 2017 19:58:17 -0500

The Upper Room experiences were life changing for the Disciples: from the Passover Supper and foot washing, to experiencing the resurrected Jesus, to understanding prayer and its potential, to conducting business, and finally, to receiving the promise of God. The world would soon feel the impact of a generation of Spirit filled people, who had a message to share.

Dr D Martyn Lloyd-Jones - The Biblical Theologian

Sun, 11 Jun 2017 10:15:21 -0500

With John Calvin, Lloyd-Jones believed that Christ died for all, for all men, for humanity, for the whole human race, for mankind, and that He was the world's Redeemer. That Christ was the 'Saviour of the world' (John 4:42) was a necessary and basic conviction if the Gospel was to be properly declared. Lloyd-Jones shared the soteriology of Calvin and Baxter.

The Power of the Trinity

Sat, 10 Jun 2017 06:58:32 -0500

The doctrine of the Trinity is a confession, not a definition. Who can define God? We can only confess our history and personal encounters with God.

Some Anti-Theist Religious Bits & Pieces: Round Fifteen

Tue, 06 Jun 2017 07:22:21 -0500

Philosophical concepts that surround life, the universe and everything, including those realms of theology, religions and the nature of deities continue to fascinate. Opinions proliferate. There's the theist pro side; there's the atheist anti-side. There aren't too many fence-sitters. I'm still in the anti-camp as the following fifteenth helping of "Religious Bits and Pieces" illustrate.

World Out Of Control

Mon, 05 Jun 2017 20:57:54 -0500

There she goes, spinning wildly out of control - going, going gone! No, not quite, but in other ways I believe our world, or at least the lives of very many people, are drifting without hope, wandering aimlessly. Anyway, what does it matter, and in what way might people be out of control?

By the Power of the Word of God, the Holy Scriptures of the Bible, Which Are Spirit

Mon, 05 Jun 2017 07:00:27 -0500

In the Holy Bible, in John 6:63, Jesus is recorded as saying, "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you are spirit, and they are life. In this scripture, Jesus equates the words of spoken and written scripture with spirit, and this basic truth continues through the New Testament as his apostles, and the recorders of their words, convey the gospel of Christ through the use of the written word. Therefore, the answers that God gives to Christians who seek his wisdom and direction through prayer are given through words to the mind, not ambiguous visceral feelings, which may be misunderstood. These words are the product of the Holy Spirit. By understanding and receiving the salvation offered by Jesus, Christians may begin to receive concise understandable answers to their prayers in abundance. This is only the beginning to a fruitful and eternal relationship with God almighty. Read on for a discourse on receiving answers from God.

Let's Get It Right

How to Survive Opposition When Doing God's Work

Sun, 04 Jun 2017 21:09:02 -0500

When we do God's work in our world, there is always a chance that we will face opposition, including persecution. How can we handle opposition when it arises? The best way is to follow the example of the apostle Paul, especially the example we find in 2 Corinthians 6:3-13.

The Joy of Giving According to Paul

Sun, 04 Jun 2017 21:06:25 -0500

Did you know that giving can be exciting? It certainly is! It's like a competition to out give God. We give and God provides. We sow into our local church and God sows into our lives. God's blessings are not always financial, but they are always greater than what we expect. A good example of this in 2 Corinthians 8:1-16.

The Star of Bethlehem

Sat, 03 Jun 2017 07:06:09 -0500

The birth of Jesus Christ in the books of Matthew and Luke in the New Testament are not only conflicting but mythical in nature. Nothing points to this fact more than the so-called Star of Bethlehem. It guided the shepherds to where the baby was born, according to Matthew 2:1.

How to Neutralize Curses - Why Are Curses So Powerful?

Fri, 02 Jun 2017 14:04:06 -0500

1. Curses are powerful because Jesus taught us that we can have what we say. Jesus said "you can have what you say" (Mark 11:23).

What Is Salvation? Part 6

Fri, 02 Jun 2017 09:13:55 -0500

No riches, no power, no wisdom, no fame can bring the depths of peace, love and joy we can have as when we truly understand what salvation means. The heart and mind of God is truly amazing. God is the most logical person we can ever know!

What Is Salvation? Part 5d

Fri, 02 Jun 2017 09:13:02 -0500

Grace Was From The Beginning It is the worst doctrinal error to misunderstand what grace is about. God granted grace to Adam, and grace was from the beginning (Gen 6:8 KJV). Righteousness was by faith (justification), and was from the beginning (Gen 3, 4; Lev 4, 6 KJV).

What Is Salvation? Part 5c

Fri, 02 Jun 2017 09:12:31 -0500

The bible tells us how salvation can be lost. "Once saved always saved" is a myth, and is serious error.

What Is Salvation? Part 5b

Fri, 02 Jun 2017 09:08:25 -0500

Christ said He was sanctified by The Father, and that this was for our sake. He said that unless He goes back to The Father, The Spirit of Truth will not come to us. The Holy Spirit was sent for our sanctification, because flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. This is the mystery of the Gospel.

What Is Salvation? Part 5a

Fri, 02 Jun 2017 09:08:06 -0500

Sanctification: After justification, we still live in our sinful flesh; the serpent (Satan) is still alive and has power over our weak sinful flesh. Therefore, we still live in the presence of sin, and are vulnerable to the pleasures of sin. The Apostle Paul referred to himself as a wretched man for this reason: "17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

What Is Salvation? Part 4

Fri, 02 Jun 2017 09:06:58 -0500

Salvation In-Christ is Threefold, and involves justification, sanctification and glorification of man by God. The process results in being saved from the penalty, power, pleasure and presence of sin. To stop at justification is to lose one's salvation.

What Is Salvation? Part 3

Fri, 02 Jun 2017 09:06:24 -0500

Righteousness Through Faith: After the sentence of death was pronounced at the 'first' judgment, God banished Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden. Before their banishment, God did something profoundly significant for all mankind: Gen 3:21 KJV "Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them." God provided them an acceptable atonement for their sin with the first blood sacrifice (a sin offering), and showed them a pattern to make them temporarily righteous through faith until final redemption by the blood of Christ.

What Is Salvation? - Part 2

Fri, 02 Jun 2017 09:05:39 -0500

Our soul is not immortal. The bible tells us exactly what happened when Adam and Eve sinned.

What Is Salvation? Part 1

Fri, 02 Jun 2017 09:05:35 -0500

Introduction: Salvation means to be saved from the 'final' judgment of God. It is a serious matter of life (immortality) and death (mortality), and is not a matter of heaven and hell, as many would like you to believe. God is a logical God, and speaks to us in contrasts; unless we understand God's use of opposites, we will not understand God's awesome plan for mankind.
