When Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I premieres this November, audiences will get all juiced up with no pay-off when the film breaks for Part II, set to be released eight months later in July, 2011. In the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly details, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows director David Yates describes where they have made the cut.

Now available on the internet are three brand new behind the scenes photos from the upcoming film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I. The include Harry, Hermione and Ron in dramatic, outdoor scenes from the movie. The first of the final two Harry Potter films is due to be released in theaters on November 19.



Matthew Lewis announces Harry Potter exhibit

Matthew Lewis, Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter films, was on hand earlier this week to announce that Seattle would be the final stop in the traveling tour known as Harry Potter: The Exhibition. The exhibit is currently in Toronto, and will makes its way back to the States to reside at the Pacific Science Center in Seattle from October 23 until January 30, 2011.

Durham University in England is to run a Harry Potter course. The university will offer a second-year undergraduate module entitled Harry Potter and the Age of Illusion from the next academic year. The course's professor says study of the social and moral issues raised in the children's book series has great relevance to today's society.



Universal or Disney considering Lord of the Rings theme park?

They must be having a lot of success with their recently opened Wizarding World of Harry Potter, because they're now trying to test the waters with a potential Lord of the Rings attraction.



Japanese audiences to get exclusive Deathly Hallows preview

It is being reported that on August 11, fans at several movie theaters across Japan will be able to see an exclusive preview to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The preview will be shown as part of a marathon event, in which all six Harry Potter movies will be shown. No word yet on whether a similar event will take place in the States.



Rumor: Daniel Radcliffe to star in comedy horror movie

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe is reportedly in talks to star in comedy horror movie Jay and Seth vs the Apocalypse. Knocked Up star Seth Rogen and The Sorcerer's Apprentice actor Jay Baruchel are remaking the short they made in film school for the big screen, and Radcliffe is said to have asked to audition for the lead role.

Dan Radcliffe to guest on Simpsons next season

Homer Simpson was last month named the greatest character created for television and film in the past 20 years by Entertainment Weekly. Radcliffe was No. 2.
