Wed, 19 Oct 2016 01:26:18 GMTIn Sigil, Preferences>Spellcheck Dictionaries, I have added a dictionary called "Sanskrit" by selecting "Add" and pasting the words from a .txt file. Since these words exist in the various .xhtml files, now I would like to italicize them. How to do it? Could the said dictionary file be used to find and italicize the words?
Mon, 17 Oct 2016 22:45:31 GMTGreetings from Warsaw :wacky: I have started reading ebooks on my first iPad long time ago. But even with night mode on, I got headache after a dozen of pages :brood: To much light... One of my friends was ebook early adopter and he got first two or three e-readers. But they were not very good or convenient. It was my first Kindle Paperwhite, that was "it" I needed something bigger, so I have bought Kobo Aura H2O as soon it was available on the market (I LOVE global village ), now I am temporarily using Kindle Voyage, I got for my husband, because he almost drowned it :shocked2: I will get Kobo Aura One soon :D I'm using Calibre to manage my library. I read a lot, mostly fantasy and SF :vulcan:, but not only. What I also love in XXI century, is that people devote their time and skills to improve products on the market. I have flashed my router with such software and my camera as well. I have installed KOReader on H2O, because it has features, my husband whined about :rolleyes2: I have been reading this forum for a while and finally decided to register :beam: who knows, maybe I could contribute somehow and stop being a parasite :smug2:
Sun, 16 Oct 2016 07:37:31 GMTFor the last 2 days I have read nothing but this site. I found it in a response from google for info about the new Kobo Aura One. I have had a Sony PRS650 since 2010, and when it became apparent that the battery was dying, I organised to have the battery replaced, but because it was taking so long to happen, I started to investigate the new Aura One. This site has opened up a complete new planet for me with devices, words, ideas and how to do things that I didn't know existed. Being an old girl with no computer skills whatsoever,(I get by just doing what I know and that's pretty much how to buy from Kobo, download to Sony book library then transfer to my Reader). Oh, and Facebook. And navigate my iPad. Thank you very much for accepting me to your site. Clare. P.S. I hope to do a 400km round trip tomorrow to collect my Aura One, if it arrives in store.:)
Fri, 14 Oct 2016 10:30:06 GMTOr in greek-lish Kalispera. I've been a long time Calibre user and apparently had a forum account but today is my first post. Nice to "read" you guys
Thu, 13 Oct 2016 13:22:02 GMTHi, I'm Moony, I'm Italian, and honestly I didn't see whether introducing yourself was mandatory and if there was a recommended list of info to provide. There's not really much to say about me except that I like books, particularly fantasy/scifi. I read on a Kobo Aura HD and sometimes I like it a lot and sometimes I don't. Digital certainly made my life easier, though. (I don't have any more space for physical books in my house :p)
Wed, 12 Oct 2016 13:05:19 GMTHi Everyone I am really pleased I found this forum, and looking forward to getting to know everyone. I am an avid reader, and especially a fan of historical romances. I also enjoy horse riding, and have my own gorgeous 6 year old thoroughbred gelding, called Happy Go Lucky. Best wishes, Chantel (KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa)
Tue, 11 Oct 2016 11:01:40 GMTHello, Mordor, Morden, same difference really (heating's down and my fingers're a bit numb ;) Anyway, I've come here seeking help for a relative with a half-dead e-reader (my kobo works fine, for now... I've just had to check if it REALLY is kobo, it'd be embarrassing if it were something else). Regards, n.
Sun, 09 Oct 2016 19:54:02 GMThello, I'm from Georgia in the U.S.A. I am a 38 years old who has been an avid reader since I was 11 years old. I have been a loyal nook patron for 10 years but because of my dissatisfaction with b&n this week I have found this forum and joined it hoping to find like mind people. I have collected thousands of ebooks over the years and my friends and family consider me extremely compulsive about keeping my ebooks organized by author and series and keeping up to date files on my authors and what they have written. Currently I have Samsung Galaxy S2 Tab Nook that I read on.
