Hey Guys, A great show as usual. Just had a thought. Jack's Dad seemed a bit sinister this episode. There seems to be alot of mixed messages about the island. Is Jacob the bad twin?

Hey Aaron!

Thanks for clearing that up. I hadn't remembered that, but it has been a long time since I've seen that episode. I'll make sure to say a correction on Monday's podcast.

Hey guys, looks like my last theory got shot to sunshine (to quote Ben), but I wanted to clarify one thing. From the Season 1 episode "Solitary", we know that Rousseau removed the firing pin from the gun Robert tries to shoot her with. That is why he couldn't kill her, it wasn't course correcting or the island keeping her alive because she had work to do. Check out the lostpedia.com page for Solitary if you want.

From Lostpedia: Sayid and Rousseau cross paths as Sayid is trying to escape. They point their guns at each other, and Sayid pulls the trigger. To his surprise, however, he finds that the firing pin has been removed. Danielle says that Robert never noticed it either, before she shot and killed him.
