I am inspired and depressed by your post! I am sitting here with 7" of snow and my tomatoes and other flowers and veggies are about a 1/2" high under lights in the house. I envy your stroll through the garden. There is nothing I love more than to sit outside in my garden. It will be a month before that happens so I was happy to stroll through yours. Thank you for sharing. It is beautiful.

Nice garden Jennifer! I don't have anything from seed up yet but have planted 30 tomato plants, two rows of corn, two rows of beans, beets, potatoes, 18 pepper plants, cabbages, broccoli, cauliflower and onions! Boy, will I have a lot of work this fall canning all that stuff but it will be good this coming winter! ;-)

Ok, lots similar with us again - we have a half acre yard that is fairly new to us (moved in last summer) and I also walk around each morning to see what surprises the plants have in store for me. Also, hubby is the radish eater in this house too, lol.

My lilacs are juuuuuust about to bloom, I can't wait!

And I didn't know that was your froggy pic that Melody referenced, how cool!!!

Wow, what a fine garden! I think I'm still about a month away from any lilac blooms here, sure will be nice. I think your struck tree will be OK, hopefully it can recover. Maybe an arborist would suggest painting that wound? That flowering tree is fantastic - guess it took a year off? Let's call it a sabbatical!! Have a great day - Bonnie

Your garden is lovely Jen! And it looks huge too!
I have tomatoes planted in my greenhouse, but not outdoors yet!
Wandering round the garden with a cup of tea, and looking to see what has new buds is one of my greatest pleasures at this time of year.
