Best for highlighting and notes

Wed, 21 Jun 2017 18:34:36 GMT

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong section. Can’t believe the amount of knowledge regarding the different ebook readers. I’m looking for some expert opinions on the best ebook app for ease of highlighting and exporting notes. I’m mainly considering Mapleread, Marvin and Hyphen but open to any others. Thanks for any feedback.

BookBrowser 2.0

Thu, 15 Jun 2017 16:09:43 GMT

I have released BookBrowser 2.0. I have rewritten BookBrowser in go, making it run faster, on all platforms, with no dependencies. I have redone the web ui as well. BookBrowser is an easy-to-use tool to generate a web-based epub book browser. All you need to do is download it (https://github.com/geek1011/BookBrowser/releases/latest) into the folder with your ebooks, and run it. Changes: * New UI * Improved page load performance (now uses thumbnails for covers) * Improved speed for indexing * Improve metadata collection during indexing * Rewrote in go * Improved search Features: * Search * Responsive web interface * Browse by: * Author * Series (from calibre metadata) * Web based reader * Custom fonts, colors, sizing, spacing * Remembers your position * And more * Search * And more * Easy-to-use * Fast * No extra dependencies Screenshots https://geek1011.github.io/BookBrowser/ More information https://geek1011.github.io/BookBrowser/ Source Code https://github.com/geek1011/BookBrowser/ Download https://github.com/geek1011/BookBrowser/releases/latest
