Free Template Tuesday has returned and it is here to stay! This week I have made a cute chalkboard sign that reads "Happy Halloween". I have mine printed as an 8x10 in an old gold frame that sits atop my piano.

There are two sizes, 8x10 and 5x7. Enjoy! And please spread the love!!

Heirloom Paperie the Club Grand Opening!

Today is an exciting day! I have been working for over a year to bring you something that I think is REALLY special! It's called Heirloom Paperie, the Club. Here is a little bit about it...For only $5 a month you receive a FULL package of printables. Yes, only $5.Every month you recieve 10+ printables that include home decor, HUGE parties, gifts, stationery, tags, invitations and so much more, all meticulously and lovingly designed! Each printable is sold in the shop for at least $5 each (and they are still worth it, because they are super cute, just saying.) Every month is different and every month has it's own theme! There will never be any repeats in the club. You can count on original, on-trend pieces that you will enjoy using at your leisure. I pride myself on creating substantial packages of printables, so that you will have everything you need to host a party, shower or even a wedding. When I put it in the club, it will be designed to the nines! Print at home as much as you like, when you like!One of the best things about printables is that you can print as many as you like and use them however you want to! If I have included a gift tag in the club, you might choose to use it as a label, etc. The possibilities with the designs are endless and they really allow you to be as creative as you want to be. Plus you get INSTANT ACCESS to your files, you don't have to wait for me to send them to you! That comes in handy when you, you know, have a party the next day. The designs are EDITABLE!That means that you can insert YOUR OWN TEXT into invitations, stationery etc. It will be a professional, personalized piece that people will think you paid a designer to make for you. There are no special programs required other than free Adobe Reader! Is it really only $5?Yes, because I want EVERYONE to be able to afford great design. The End. I truly believe that you don't have to be Kate Spade to have a well put-together, cohesive event or beautiful decor. I want you to impress your friends with your 'attention to detail.' I KNOW you will love this club. Of course you can cancel your subscription any time through your own paypal, but I hope you will find these printables are well worth the $5 you would spend at the drive-thru :) How do I receive my printables?Upon signing up with Paypal, you will have instant access to your files via a username and password. Every month this file will change, so make sure you save it to your computer, or better yet, email it to yourself so you never lose it! New members also get 2 free printables! (It's Worth It Poster (in 6 colors) and 4 Hello cards!)New members also get 2 free printables! (It's Worth It Poster (in 8 colors) and 4 Hello cards!) Of course I am still going to be offering FREE printables, but I am hoping you will enjoy these practically free printables as well! I have spent hundreds of hours making everything perfect and I am SO EXCITED to share!Check out the new site, and thanks for stopping by!!--Candis [...]

FREE Template Tuesday: Easter Greetings!

Hello! I thought I would share a cute free printable this morning :) I have begun illustrating again and it makes me very happy!

I hope you enjoy these little cards. The pdf file contains 2 cards on an 8.5" x 11" paper. The cards themselves are about 4" x 5".

Happy Easter everyone!

FREE Template Tuesday: Teacher Appreciation

A cute free printable for the wonderful teachers in your life...commissioned by my good friend, Ella. She used it as an adorable label for a mini-cake box, but it would look great with any "sweet" gift. Scale up or down for your needs--just print and cut-out. Enjoy, and be creative!

FREE Template: LOVE banner

I have recently remembered that I love giving away free templates...I know, it's been far too long. Here is a little something for your last-minute Valentines decor.

The Love Banner. It takes about 5 minutes to make but adds a quick pick me up to the {dreary} February weather. I am making some of these for friends for Valentines this year. :) Enjoy!

First, you are going to need a cute little helper...In this case, my 5 year old.
Let's get started...

1. DOWNLOAD TEMPLATE HERE, and print on plain white paper.

2. Cut each sheet in half hamburger style. (Hopefully you speak my language, and know what that means, if not, cut in half the 'fat' way.)

3. Cut the long triangle (just follow the lines) for the bottom of the banner.

4. Stack together and fold back the top 3/4 inch.

5. Lay out BACKWARDS and get your spacing right. Lay out the bakers twine or ribbon.

6. Tape the bakers twine INSIDE the fold, then fold down and tape. (This keeps the individual banners from running-a-muck.)

7. Hang and enjoy!

{seen here on my ever-changing-fabric-frame. My fav.}

P.S. Feel free to share the love, and track back here, if you please :)
P.P.S. I also make these banners in any custom color for weddings, showers, etc. $5. Just email

Black Friday Sale at For Your Little Darling

My dear friend Carolyn amazes me. She make THE MOST beautiful creations! Today she is having a black Friday sale, and I HIGHLY recommend you visit :) Burp cloth sets only $5, 10% off everything...and more!

Here is a preview of her awesomeness...and yes, everything is that cute.

FREE TEMPLATE: New Moon T-Shirt Iron-on Transfer

For all of you Twilight is a little treat for your frequent trips to the theaters this week :) Iron-on transfer to a white or light colored t-shirt (I used Avery brand transfers from Walmart). Prints on a full 8.5 x 11". Looks extra fabulous on a mustard colored long sleeved.

*Hint: cut off as much negative space around the cliff and words etc. as you can.

Be the envy of all your groupies, or share if you wish.

P.S. I thought I was so clever last year when I "came up with this" but then I saw some on the internet last week. Bummer. Still cute though!

DOWNLOAD PDF HERE. {Remember to follow your iron-on instructions for reversing while printing.}

FREE Template Tuesday: By Order of the Queen

Did you know that a person's brain tends to fall out during the last month of pregnancy and then continues to do so for about a month after the baby is born?

I just found that out.

Sorry I have not been sharing the freebie love lately, but I do not come back without a gift: I find myself asking my husband to do things quite a bit {read demanding}, so I thought I would make a subtle "honey do list" for him. This is perfect for wives, moms, the bride-to-be, or just about any woman. :) Just print on 8.5 x 11" paper and cut down the middle.

Enjoy, it's good to be back!

Download Here.

FREE Template: Father's Day Cards

I know this is a little late (day of, hello.) But, I was frantically searching for a cute free card online for my father's day gifts and couldn't find a thing! Of course that will never do, so I made these and thought I might as well share....use them today, or archive for next year :)

{These are really simple, really quick, print and fold cards. 8.5 x 11, folded in fours. No cutting needed--just like the good old days of PrintMaster. Haha.}

Download Here!

FREE Template Tuesday: Invites

I wanted to share a free Summer Invite Template. I am getting excited for the idea of summer parties, and I hope you can use this for one of yours! Maybe even a hip bridal/baby shower? Let me know how you will use yours!

Just print out (front and back are included) and cut down the middle lengthwise. Fold, write, send! -OR- do what I sometimes do and send it to your local Kinko's and let them do the work :)

{Please forgive me for not taking a cute picture of a finished product, if I kept waiting for myself to do that, I wouldn't ever post!}

FREE Template Tuesday: Easter Cards

This year, I have the ambition to send out Easter cards. We will see if that happens :) In the meantime, I have designed a cute free Easter card for you, complete with a silhouette bunny on the front and damask on the back. {Blank inside.} The card is 5.5 x 4.25, perfect for an A2. As a bonus, I designed a little mailing label with said bunny for Avery labels 5164, 5264, 5524, 8164, 8254, 8464, 48464, 55164, 58164. Download here.

Couldn't Resist

I just realized that I never post my photo sessions! Here is a sneak peak of the latest :)

FREE Template Tuesday: Spring Labels

Here is a little something to make your spring cleaning a little more beautiful. Use these labels for anything you like...labeling boxes, gift tags, folder tabs etc. I would love to hear how you plan to use them :) Download PDF file here, print and cut.

Focus On: Spring

I am so excited for Spring! I can't wait to get outside and work in my garden and just enjoy the sounds of birds again. I have been doing a lot of spring cleaning around here (or at least planning out what I'm going to do.) As such, I have some lovely new designs for my spring line coming out soon (wedding, baby, stationary, hooray!)

I hope you'll check back tomorrow for the FREE Template Tuesday: Spring Labels.

See you soon!

Where has Candis been?

Vacation. Fabulous vacation.

Some wonderfully beautiful things are in the works, and I promise will be up soon!

FREE Template Tuesday: To-Do list.

I have been hip deep in work these days (and not all of it was pretty, sadly.) The corporate world has needed my attention. However, I thought I might share with you a little to-do list template I made after reading one of my friends blogs. I have often thought about the concept "I can do hard things." It makes me feel empowered. So, print yourself off a little list and remember that wise advice.

I should warn you, page one of the pdf is the 'clean' version of this template, page two may have a little cus word. My apologies. You choose which one best suits you :) Download here.

$5 Friday: Love Birds Personal Stationary

This week's $5 Friday--so lovely! Love Birds custom stationary: use for thank you notes from your wedding, or 'love notes' for your friends and family. I think it's so fun to have couple stationary {although I don't think my husband has ever written one of his friends using our paperie.}

Available in custom background and font colors - check them out in the shop!

Free Template Tuesday: Hearts and Love day!

Last week was so busy! It has been so fun fulfilling your orders and hearing your comments :) I owe you my apologies for not posting a free template last week, SO here are 2 this week!!

(image) Valentines Day is just around the corner, and I love giving {and receiving} yummy treats and love notes. I made these cute heart tags that you can either print on Avery 5294 labels, or just print and cut out. They would be super cute as a package seal, dangling tag or envelope seal--so many possibilities!

(image) The next FREE template is a cute little name plates that reads "happy love day." I plan on punching a hole on either end and stringing ribbon through the back and around a box full of goodies. I would love to hear how you might use these! {I am obsessing over Tiffany blue lately, can you tell?}

New Feature: Little Window Shoppe

What a pleasant surprise to be featured on such a fantastic blog: Little Window Shoppe!

Emily wrote a lovely post about us, and I am just thrilled! Since subscribing to their blog, I have found SO many adorable shoppes, so check them out!

Template Tuesday: Place cards!

I am in the "host a dinner party every night" kind of mood. As such, I thought I would share some lovely place cards that I have made for our FREE Template Tuesday!

Just download the template here, open in Word, edit the names, print, cut, fold. Fantastic.

Each sheet makes 6 place cards with lovely golden swallows and steel blue calligraphy. I am somewhat obsessing over this font (and if you haven't already downloaded it from Luzel's blog, visit and search Albemarle Swash. {for some reason, I cannot link it}

So, let's have a party! I'll bring dessert.

HLP Featured Today, Valentine's Cards!

What an exciting day here at Heirloom! We were featured on a most fabulous blog called iDIY. Go check it out; Luzel has some AMAZING taste, and I have quickly become a fan. We are also doing a giveaway together (and if you look closely, a discount code :) Thanks, Luzel!

Also, today we are announcing our Valentine's Line in the shop! These turned out just beautiful :) View them here!

Free Template Tuesday: Thank You Cards

There's something about a new year that make me so THANKFUL! What better time of year to send lovely correspondence to your friends and loved ones telling them thanks for the thoughtful gifts, or just for their company?

I just made these darling little notes to send out quick messages to my friends and thought I would share. Just print out on cardstock and cut right down the middle lengthwise (or as we say around these parts - 'hotdog style.') Fold in half and send :)

I love the inside of these because you can keep your sentiments short and sweet, or use the extra space at the top to write more!

Enjoy, and Happy {thankful} New Year!

Download pdf here.

Focus On: Stationary

I love making things something meaning. I think that every person deserves some personalized stationary. It is so nice to have something that says "this is me!" and aren't I lovely? :)

Custom stationary is one of my favorite things to create. If you are interested, just find a few examples of what you love, send them my way, and I will make something completely unique for you!

I can't wait to see what we can create together!
