Every single day I used technology to help me do school work, entertain me, and keep me in contact with other people. With out it I living for me would be extremely hard. Most of the time when I am at home I am either using the computer or I'm watching TV while texting my friends, basically I use technology every moment of every day. Some of the things I use such at computers and the telephone are so big that people would struggle if they were suddenly taken away. In my opinion, they are just as big as Electricity and fire. Another piece of technology that people would struggle to live with out are automobiles. Every single day people use them to get from place to place and with out them we would basically be stranded.

The first semester always goes fast for me and this last one seemed to go even quicker. Just thinking that we are already half way done with school gets me all excited. (I'm only that much closer to getting out of High school!) For this past month or so I have been writing screen plays. I write them to basically vent out all my opinions and creativity. My friends tell me that I'm a good writer and ill take their word for it but I suck at spelling and grammar. These screen plays will hopefully help my improve it.

FAV (blog post # 6)

One of my favorite places to go to in Austin is my lake house. I am licensed to drive a boat or Jet Ski by myself so having friends out there can be a blast! It’s also where I do my main sport, wakeboarding! It’s so much fun to be out on the water with friends just hanging out!

Illigal! (School post #3)

In our country we have a lot of illegal immigrants. Especially in Texas where the immigrants come from Mexico a lot of the time! Our government is starting to put up walls and keep them out but it isn’t really working the way they hoped it would. I personally have not been affected by them but I bet I see one every day without noticing it.

Diversity! (School post #7)

In the US there are a lot of different people from all over the world! It’s really cool to be able to talk down the street and see all the different faces. It’s even more fun to go to different hangs outs and experience the culture! I love how the government tried to treat everyone equal because that means a lot of people will come!

911 (School Post #5)

Here in the United State's we do have terrorist attacks. Most of the time we have no idea when they are going to happen. It seems as if they almost happen when we are least expecting it. We will turn around and boom! Planes have been hijacked and are being crashed into the world trade center. A lot of the time, the motives of the terrorists is to get back at the U.S. for some things that we did that they didn't like. The most recent attack was about 7 years ago that happened on September 11, 2001. Two planes hit the twin towers in New York City. One also hit the pentagon. There was another plane that crashed in Pennsylvania; this one was heading towards the white house. However, the passengers caught on and took the plane back over. The tourists had weapons on them so that they could hurt the others on the plane that did not listen to them, but still the passengers stopped them. Many people lost their lives on this very sad day. Firefighters tried to help out the best they could. But some of them lost their lives in the process. (To me this is really painful because this makes me think what would happen to me if my dad lost his life (he is a fire fighter)) Now, we keep our country safe by making it harder for people to get on and off Plans. There have security everywhere and at the airports we have to walk through metal detectors and have our luggage scanned.

Anderson (school post #4)

Anderson is a pretty big school. There are 4 different grade levels, 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th. There are around 2000 kids!! It’s kind of weird to know and recognize about the 500 people in your grade and then realize that there are tons more kids!
At Anderson we have so many different clubs, class, and sports. Some of the clubs that we have are Art, Language Clubs, National Honor Society, GSA, and many more. The sports at Anderson consist of; Football, basketball, soccer, baseball, volleyball, Tennis and lacrosse (I bet I left a few out…..). Also, some of the fine art classes are choir, dance, art, band, photography, and a TON more. The teachers at Anderson are really nice and they are all unique and fun! It’s a very fun to attend!!!!

Hot Summer (School Post #2)

Hey look, another blog post!!

Man, I can't believe it has been 4 weeks since school started. Summer break was great and we still aren't done with the season! Summer will come to an end tomorrow for us and then it will become fall (yay!). However, I can't believe that we still have 80/90 degree weather!!
For us this summer was one of the hottest on record and I only experienced part of it. For the last week in July and the first week in August I was in Michigan, where the weather was in the 70s and if I woke up early enough I would find myself shivering. I went up to there to visit my grandparents and other family members. My grandparents live in the middle of a forest and you couldn't go outside without seeing wild raspberries.

During the rest of my summer, when I wasn't visiting family, I was forced to go to my lake house almost every weekend. Sometimes I like to go there, but at times I would like to just relax. Usually what I do when I go there is hang out with my friends and go out on the lake. One of my favorite things to do on the lake is drive the Jet Ski. I am aloud to go on it alone because I have my boating license, which you only have to be 13+ to get.

Basically, my summer was pretty good, but I'm glad the hot weather is leaving soon. Remember to check back here to learn more about my life!

School and Music

Wow school is going by slow yet fast! When I look at the clock I think “This is going to take forever!!” but when I look at the calendar I think “Wow were already this far into school!?” So far taking all Pre-APs has been a little challenging but I’m getting used to it. However, usually when I get used to things they tend to get harder on me and I’m guessing this is one of those times. Currently (as of the 15th day of school) I think I’m making a decent grade in all my classes.

Something I forgot to tell you in my last post was that I LOVE music and I don’t think I could live without it. One of my hobbies (when I’m not on the computer) is writing my own music. Most of the time I write poems but I’m starting to add actual sheet music to them. Too bad the only instrument I can play is my vocal cords or I could write a complete song. I’m not sure if I mentioned it but I am in Choir and currently I’m wishing I hadn’t signed up for it. Middle school choir was a lot of fun but high school choir is just eh.

Well I have to go now! Hope you all have a good week and remember to check back here to learn more about my life!

Me! (School Post #1)

Hello random person reading my blog! I’m Travis Watson, a student at Anderson high school which is located in Austin, Texas. I was the first person in my family to be born in Austin and I have lived here ever since. Originally my family is from Michigan and I occasionally go up there for a visit. My parents aren’t married anymore but they have remarried. I have an older sister (she is twenty-two), and older brother (who is sixteen), a younger step brother (who is thirteen) and two baby brothers (who are one and two). I also have 3 dogs and 3 love birds as my pets. Most of the time I like to play with my baby brothers. However, since I have such a big family, privacy isn’t usually an option so to get away I just pick up a book and read. I spend most of my time on the computer, talking with friends or just hanging out. I don’t play any sports in school but I do outside of school.

Wakeboarding is my main sport but I don’t do it for the school because it isn’t offered. I also play tennis but I had no room in my schedule to play it at school. This year I’m going to try and make really good grades so that I can get into a good college. I’m not really sure what I want to be when I become an adult. My choices right now are vet, psychologist, teacher and my dad wants me to be a firefighter like him.

I’m ready to go down the path my life takes me because I have already gone through so much. Well that’s my life in a nutshell! check back here to learn more about my life!
