Half-watching Hot Fuzz on TV and got to see this glorious moment again.

It’s clear Rafe Spall is about to break, but is it just me or can you see Simon Pegg about to break as well?

Fun fact: A lady I work with was introduced to her now-husband by Paddy Considine.

It’s a shame that the fickle tyres in F1 at the moment mean that this seems like an ingenious strategy.

Firefly's Best Episode: Out Of Gas

Firefly's Best Episode: Out Of Gas:

Then you come across “Out of Gas.” It’s an episode of television so phenomenal I envy every person who is going to watch it for the first time. This is without a doubt the best that Firefly ever got, and here’s why.

It doesn’t matter how many times you’ve seen ‘Out of Gas’. How could you not want to watch it again after reading this article?

Favorite TV Openings - Archer

My favourite part has always been the curve made in the blue between Amber Nash’s and Chris Parnell’s names. It is shamefully under-represented in this gif-set.

When we were in NYC, we realised that I walk about twice as fast as my friends, so it became a thing that I would just walk ahead and wait at the next corner for everyone else to catch up.

For geography geeks, this is walking north on Madison between 37th and 38th street. I even found the Google Street View of that nails and tanning sign on the left. I did this by knowing where we ate when I wore the shirt I’m wearing in the photo and re-tracing our steps in Google Maps. This is the kind of thing I do on Friday nights.

Just recognised Mathieu Kassovitz as I was flicking through channels.

Today, when I was trying on glasses, I was complimented for the spots on my irises. I don’t know, but she was female, so I’ll take it.

If biometric security takes off, this post is really going to screw me.

Taken from the top of the Newseum, this is the closest I got to the Capitol on foot. Like I said, two days was nowhere near enough time.

Tumblr’s ten-photo limit meant that these didn’t make the A-List.

Holiday Hat

The ridiculous weather in DC (the hottest it’s been since the 1920s, apparently) meant that my pasty ass needed a hat, so I bought a trilby in Union Station and kind of fell in love with it.

I’ll probably never wear it again, though.

NYC/DC – April 2013

Here are my ten favourite photos from our trip to New York City and Washington, D.C.

I tried not to take too many photos, because any photo of a landmark I took has been taken by thousands of better photographers than me. But, as it turns out, my favourites are all pretty much the classic ones.

New York City was as amazing as I thought it would be, Washington exceeded every expectation I had for it. I loved it and two days was nowhere near enough time to see it properly.

I will be going back.

No I don’t. And it wasn’t ever mentioned when the room was booked.

My friends called me at 11pm and played a baby crying noise down the phone at me.

Bastards.
