All Those Yesterdays 2011-06-20T16:33:24.129-07:00 I know I'm youngI know I haven't seen my share of lifeI know that more is to come This blog is dedicated to my friends that have taken their lives in the past couple years and for the ones that their hearts were too big that God couldn't let them live. Zeak, Whitney, and Bo This was a date that I went on with Bo. (He's in the red)I feel like you were stolen. That I'll find you soon, that you're not really gone. That I can still hear your laughter, your voice.I'm worried I won't remember it for much long. Zeak, and Bo were easier because of the distance, but I shouldn't say it was easier just more surreal. I don't miss them any less.Whitney, yours was hard to deal with. I am lucky I had my dear sweet husband to lean on; to cry on. You disappeared for a month, I was hoping you had just ran off to Mexico or Cali. But I knew that wasn't it. My heart broke for you. You are loved by so many. Your memorial service was packed, your friends stood out in the rain to be close to you for one last time, even if they couldn't hear your mom, dad and sister speak. Just prior to you disappearing we had just pulled an all nighter at Costco making pumpkin pies! I had picked you up and we jammed out to Ke$ha in the parking lot. Despite working Midnight to 8:30 am we had a blast. You made it easier. I swear I can still hear your laughter, sometimes I turn around just to see.Whitney, I love you.Zeak, you were taken too soon, we weren't ready. ( I won't say that you weren't because maybe they needed you too) We love you.Bo, I only knew you for two years, you were my Student Body President, we went on a date. You were a wonderful man. This is a poem I wrote years ago. My husband Rocks Friday! 2011-05-13T17:11:22.968-07:00 I love this man so much. We started taking dance lessons last winter and it has been the best thing for our relationship. I have learned to listen better and to just relax.I tell people that we have dancing on Thursday nights and they look at me and say " How did you get your husband to go with you?" And I say, "He was the one that suggested it." If you can get your husband to go, I highly suggest it. He supports me in everything I do. Our three year anniversary is coming up and I am so excited because we will be in our house! Our own home; together; to start a family.I can not wait to start a family with this man. Our children are going to have a wonderful, loving, smart, funny, compassionate, and supportive father. He tells me all the time the things he plans on doing with them, which makes me the happiest of all. He always makes me smile and laugh. We have the same sense of humor, which is awesome. I hate when I am at work or grocery shopping without him and I see something that would make us both crack up and he isn't there to share it with me. I have to try to to remember it so I can tell him later. He makes he get off my butt and do stuff!I have always been a home-body, since I was little. I never wanted to go and play outside, just sit and read, color, or make a puzzle. But this man, has hobbies! Dirt Bikes, and boating and camping! Oh the adventures we have! Back In Business? 2011-05-09T19:36:46.172-07:00 Absent yet again…And a lot has been going on….We sold the boat! And currently living with the in-laws, but the end justifies the meansI know I said that wasn’t in our plans for awhile but we had a change of heart. With everything we have here (our jobs, family and friends) we’ve decided to stick around western Washington and not move to eastern Washington, at least not in the near future. We are extremely happy with our decision. We are even in the process of purchasing a house! A house! I am SO excited to have my own nest! I can decorate till my heart’s content; we can do things our way instead of worrying about resale. This is going to be ours; a home. The house we are in the process of getting is in need of some love, nothing major just some paint, landscaping, carpet and so on. Would you expect anything less from us afterwe overhauled the boat?I have missed blogging so much; I’ve missed the stalking and the love. Wow... 2011-02-01T15:30:09.054-08:00 Hey everyone, I am so sorry its been so long.I am sure no one follows me anymore because I have been so absent. Almost a full year! But for those of you that do, thank you.I will try to be a better blogger! Hopefully we will get internet on the boat here soon. Cross your fingers.Yes, we are still living on the boat.We are still afloat, and well. We are hoping to sell it though this summer. We are burnt out living on it. We want room, a house, a family. Some Thursday Musing 2010-05-27T12:06:48.935-07:00 Howdy everyone, its been awhile!Work has been crazy, and so has boat life! We are getting ready to pull the boat out of the water to paint the bottom and the hull. The weather around here has not been nice! I think Washington is beautiful but this weather! Oh my! One minute its sunny, the next its pouring down rain! We can't get any of our prep work done! Cross your fingers that we can get this hunk painted and this monkey off our back!*****So i switched jobs for a couple months, instead of the food court, I was doing the morning stocking. I had to be at work at 5:15! It was hard getting up at 4:00 am! But I got accustomed to it pretty fast, so I got home around 2:00 or so.Let me tell you what I got some pretty good pictures of the happenings in the Harbor!I love this old man and his dog, who row around the harbor all day!I just thought this was the neatest boat!*****My mother-in-law made my husband and I the most gorgeous quilt as a "boat warming" present. She spent a few weeks working on it and surprised me with it in March. I love it! This is the back, she always names and signs them.*****I know easter was a while ago, but i had to put some pictures of my wonderful nephews on here!We went to my sister-in-laws church, then went over for brunch!I was trying to get a picture with Joseph but he was too busy playing video games with my brother-in-law Steve.****I hope everyone is having a good start to their summer!![...]

I've been wanting to drive the Vette to work, but we haven't been able to because of Charlie, but we have a solution! A Quilt! I don't know why I didn't think of that before! So now he is loving it! He does get a little bored waiting for school buses though...
Just a note to say 2010-03-02T12:05:18.725-08:00 That I love my husband. I really truly do. I know I am young, we both are young. But I have never ever felt this strongly about someone.He is my best friend. I tell him everything, he tells me everything. I am so grateful for him, he puts through a lot of my stuff. I know I still have a lot of growing up to but he is so patient with me. I never knew this kind of loved exsisted. Travis is most definetly not one of those blundering husbands you see on TV, in fact he is the one that keeps me in check! Not that I am putting myself down, I just know he is the more organzied one! (image) He took such good care of me while I was healing from my ovarian cyst burst. He held my hand when I got my very first IV. I couldn't have down it without him. He even bought me heat packs, and got me a biscuts and gravy breakfast from the best diner in town, even held me hair back when I threw it all up. (image) Why do you love your husband or signifcant other?
Dancing the Night Away! 2010-02-24T21:50:04.655-08:00 So Valentine's Day was so amazing! We celebrated it a day early though, since we both worked on Sunday.Ever since we got married we wanted to try dancing together, but our schedules wouldn't allow it. Needless to say when we got the chance we jumped on it. We looked everywhere for places to go here in the Sound, and we found one! It was called the Red and White Ball. It was a combination of everything! Swing, Rumba, Cha-Cha, Salsa, thank goodness there was a lesson before the dancing! I have two left feet, so I was grateful that Travis has lots of patients. We had a blast! We will most definitely be doing that again! There was a man there that saw us struggle a little bit so he told about this place in Olympia the would teach a beginner's swing class then 3 hours of dancing. We decided to give it a try. I picked it up a lot better than the rumba we learned at the red and white ball. Sorry if this post is a little jumpy, I am on pain pills because yesterday I had an ovarian cyst burst. I went to the ER early Tuesday morning, not sure of what my extreme pain was. The Doctor ran a bunch of test and did a CAT scan and found A LOT of blood in my lower abdomen from the burst cyct. I am still in a lot of pain and can barely walk, but I am improving.
This is becoming a habit 2010-02-12T08:01:55.252-08:00 A lot has happened over the past week! I wish I could’ve posted more, but time doesn’t allow it! On Saturday we finally went Trail Riding. It was perfect weather too, sunny and semi-warm. So we loaded up the bikes and drove the 45 minutes to Belfair. There were so many people there too; I guess everyone had the same idea we did! We had the fear that it was going to be too crowed and we’d run into people on the trails. Thankfully Travis rode on ahead of me to make sure I didn’t hit anyone or anyone hit me. We only ran into a few other riders and few Quad-riders other than that it was a nice day of riding!The trails were perfect, just wet enough that we didn’t slide around in the dry clay and dry enough that we didn’t get stuck in the mud. Needless to say after our long day of riding we were soaking wet and muddy and so were the bikes.This week I have 4 days off! I am so happy, I need the little vacation. But one day was cut short because they called me into work, one of the girls got strep and my supervisor needed to go to the hospital. I can’t leave my crew in a lurch so I went in for a few hours to help out. And on my way home last night I heard a ton of sirens heading to the historic harbor where we live. Anyway I was heading home and the road was blocked off, the cop was setting up road flares when I drove down there. I thought maybe there was a big accident; the roads were pretty wet so I didn’t doubt it at all. But as I went on another side road to go around the mess, I noticed this little bistro was engulfed in flames. This bistro was around for 108 years. We could actually see the flames from the boat when I finally got there. What a terrible night for the owner and her daughters. I hope everyone has a great Valentine’s Day. I am not sure what we are doing; every time I bring it up Travis always tells me that we’ll talk about it later. He is so sneaky! But I will take lots of pictures and update when it’s all over! [...]
Happy Thursday 2010-02-04T07:20:53.676-08:00 It's strange after not blogging for a while, you forget what to blog about!I need to get the ball rolling again! ******** So the weather in Washington has been amazing! 54 degrees in February! I love it, and no snow this winter. I was so worried that we were going to get snow because we bought a Corvette but nope! Although we have gotten unusually warm winter, it still has been rainy and gloomy. But every once in a while we will get a sunny, blue day! Tuesday was one of those days. It was a beautiful day and we planned to go trail riding on dirt bikes on Wednesday. So we got everything together and we were set our alarms early...and it was pouring Wednesday morning! We just laughed and snuggled back into bed. No really knows what the weather is supposed to do! But yesterday was such a nice relaxing day, we got up at like 11 and we had breakfast, took the puppy for a walk and snuggled into the couch. 5 o'clock rolled around and I got a call from work, I didn't pick it up hoping they would leave me a message. They called back again at like 5:45, this time I picked it up. It was my supervisor, she asked me where I was and I told her sitting on my couch, she said that was supposed to be there at 5! Let me tell you what, I don't think I have ever moved that fast! I ended up being an hour late, which means I'll probably get written up...oh well I guess it happens huh? I hope everyone is doing alright! It feels great to be back!
Back in Business! 2010-01-15T13:01:00.357-08:00 Wow, everyone its been way too long! We finally have wireless internet for the boat! So as an update, I will post some progress pictures of the interior of the boat. Life has been great on here on the boat so far. A lot of rain but no snow thankfully! Charlie has been loving boat life. He is a very lazy dog! He sleeps on his bed all day, don’t get me wrong he loves his walks but he would much rather be inside sleeping with people all day, then outside without the people. Very odd dog, but we love him regardless. I have recently become obsessed with Lady GaGa. I know she is crazy but her music is so unique! I was really hesitant at first to like her because I thought she was going to be like every other “pop” star. I am still working at Costco, almost been two years now! I can’t believe it’s been that long. I hoping to get out of the Food Court soon and maybe go to membership. I hope everything is going good for everyone else! I have missed you all quite a bit. Its been forever! 2009-11-25T13:49:02.894-08:00 Wow everyone! I am so sorry! I have been gone for a long time!Our yacht is semi-complete. We are comfortably living on it now. We have all the amenities a cozy home could want; fridge, stove, oven, TV, shower, toilet, heaters, a queen size bed. Life is going great! My husband sold his street bike and bought me a shiny red corvette! Oh its amazing. Thank you all for putting up with me over the past few months! I should be getting back into the swing of things at least once a week until we get internet on our boat. I hope you all have a lovely and happy thanksgiving!

One Year Ago... 2009-07-05T13:43:15.082-07:00 One year ago, it was the best day of my life.I had the time of my life.I got married to my best friend.They say the first year is the hardest.I think we made it without a hitch.If we can survive living with in-laws for over a year I believe we can survive anything.Yesterday we celebrated our anniversary a day early since Travis has to work today.I live in Puget Sound Washington and there are so many islands I have been dying to go to. Yesterday Travis surprised me with a Ferry Ride from Tacoma to Vashon Island! We have been thinking of actually moving to Vashon so we wanted to check it out.I think we actually covered the whole island on his bike! We went down all the back roads side roads, beach access roads. We had a blast.For lunch we wanted to cruise around town and find a local hot spot. And boy did we! Vashon is very much a hippie town. I spotted this restaurant on the side of the road called The Monkey Tree. I really just liked the name. So we walked in and we were handed a Menu. Travis and I were looking through it and realized there were no entres with meat!I had picked a Vegetarian restaurant!I was a little sceptic I had never eated a full vegetarian meal. But I ordered a Roasted Fig and Gorgonzola Grilled Sandwhich.It was amazing! I had never had anything so good! Travis was more like a breakfast meal. He liked mine better. I couldn't finish mine so he had the rest. After that meal, we decieded we could be vegetarian! It filled us up but didn't weigh us down!After lunch we cruised around a lot. It was a so much fun!Around 7 we headed back to Tacoma to have some dinner then watch the fireworks at 10. We took a long and relaxing dinner to try and kill some time before the festivities.Our lunch was better.The fireworks were amazing. They were shot off a barge in the middle of the Sound![...]
Monday Musings of a Manic Mind 2009-05-11T14:21:00.083-07:00 I can not believe that I haven't posted in over a month.Wow...I am a terrible blogger.I'll get better. Just as soon as we are moved into the boat.Which will hopefully be next month.I've been sick this weekend...No no no not the swine flu..just a coldBut Here are some manic mind musings. *******************************I know many of you want an update on what we've been doing.Its been a lot!Many of which you can't see, but for the stuff that you can see. Here are some pictures. This is what the wind shield and top looked like before we painted it and put a new top on it. Here are the after pictures. We had a lot of problems with the paint and the polishing of the aluminum on the sides. But it's finally done! This is the teak wood on the outside of the boat. We had to take it off and seal it underneath because it was causing leaks on the inside. But we got it sanded. It was a really dark grey color before we sanded it.Oh and don't mind Charlie.. haha This is one coat of varnish. It looks so good! ***************************************************We brought Charlie down to the boat with us. He had so much fun. I also had fun with my camera. He is my buddy. Travis thinks he loves me more than him now. The Engagement Story- MHRF 2009-04-10T12:17:15.999-07:00 It's that time again!To dive a little deeper into my love story.I love this blog Carnival.It makes me so happy.Today I will tell you about Travis and mine's engagement story.Its actually kind of funny with a very romantic twist.I was going to school up at BYU-Idaho at the time Travis and I were dating. He lived in Utah and he would travel to see me at least every other week.I know what a sweetie huh?It was the beginning of December and he had just recently quite his job at CycleGear. He was trying to find some work and had a friend that could get him some construction jobs on the side until he found something.Now this weekend I begged him to come, I was having a rough time up at school and I needed my honey. He told me that he would try but made no guarantees because of the work he might be getting.At the last minute he called me and said Spud didn't have any work for that weekend so he could come up and see me. I was so excited.I hadn't seen him in like two or three weeks.He came up, in the snow and the ice.He got there early in the morning on Friday morning.So I skipped all my classes and we spent the day in Idaho Falls.Idaho Falls had the mall and all the restaurants. It was about 30 minutes from my school.We went to the mall and we actually spent over 6 hours in the book store.It was an amazing 6 hours. We read joke books and the LOLcat books.And books about Nirvina.It was a fantastic day.Then, he got a call while we were giggling and browsing.He didn't tell me who called at first.He just asked me if I was hungry.Of course I was!We found the best Japanese place right by the mall and had wonderful sushi.At dinner he told me who called.It was Spud.He had a job for him to do and he needed him there for the next morning.I was heartbroken. I had only got to be with him for day.Granted it was a fantastic day but it was only one day when I hadn't seen him in 2 or 3 weeks.He told me that he was sorry, but he had to go.He drove me back to the dorms.Kissed me goodbye and he was off.It was a blizzard outside. I was so nervous for him to go.Now since the semester was almost over at school we had white glove inspection.I had neglected my duties for cleaning because I had been out with Travis.I had to go and be cinderella and clean the bathroom.I was so angry.I had to scrub the floor, the toliets and the tub.It had been over an hour since Travis had left and I still wasn't done.Then one of my roomates came in and said that she had to use the bathroom.I was furious! Really? She wanted to use the bathroom after I had scrubbed it?I wasn't in the mood to agrue so I went and sat myself down on the couch to mope some more.When there was a knock on our door.I opened it.And there was Travis standing in the snow.I was speechless.He said, I am tired of saying goodbye.Then he got down on one knee.And asked me to be his wife. I jumped on him and said yes.Travis then asked me if I had forgotten something..I had forgotten to put my ring on.I didn't care about the ringI had him.I was overjoyed.My roommates had been in on it the whole time. She had planned to go into the bathroom at that time so I would have to answer the door. What a smart man... [...]

So I am going to try and participate every friday because well...I love my hubby!***********************************************************************Travis and I have been married for a few months shy of a year. He is an amazing and patient man.This is the story on how my life became a love story.A good friend of mine from high school worked in a motorcycle shop called Cycle Gear. I would always go and visit him from time to time. (it was on my way to work) Cameron was one of my first good friends when I moved to Utah my junior year of high school. I felt out of place and alone and Cameron kind of took me under his wing and introduced me to a lot of his friends. Anyway we've been close every since. (no romantic interest at all)This one day I go into the shop to visit Cameron. And a guy comes in and we kind of chat for a bit but I had to leave shortly after. Now I didn't think anything of this conversation and a few minutes after I had left Cameron texted me asking me if I wanted to go on a date with him. Now this guy I talked too looked fairly older than me. So I asked him how old he was... Cameron said 29! I told him no way would I go out with someone 11 years my senior! (I was 18 at the time)He laughed it off and said okay but then asked if I wanted to go on a date with his Manager. Now when I think of manager I think like 30s or 40s too! So I was skeptical at first but then Cameron told me he was 21. Okay I could totally handle that!Now I had never met this man.Never.I had never been on a blind date. I was so nervousAnd on top of all that, our first date I was on the back his motorcycle.So Travis picked me up on his motorcycle.I had never been on a motorcycle either. Travis even brought me my own helmet. After our first date he actually went out and bought me my own helmet!On our first date was when I knew he was different from other guys. He knew I was super nervous about riding so at one point he picks up some speed and he gently(not creepy like or anything) placed his hand on my back and pulled me closer to him. He made me feel so safe. I didn't think any man could ever do that for me. (right before we met I just got out of a super abusive relationship)We've been together ever since.Stayed tuned till next friday when I share some more juicy insights of my married life.Until then.Have many speechless moments. My dog thinks he's homeless 2009-03-27T23:51:04.194-07:00 Oh I love my dog.He is so adorable... yet so *brain damaged. (image) *He's not really brain damaged just..umm a dumb dumb Anyway Travis and I have a this HUGE box that is right in front of our door to our room* *we live in a room above the garage..kind of like harry potter but with a little more class This dog...sleeps in it... Yes thats right. He has a nice bed on the porch that my mother in law made. but nope he wants to sleep in a box Travis and I decided that if he ever was homeless he'd know how to keep warm.
A terrible Blogger... 2009-03-24T12:13:10.182-07:00 Yes I have been..a terrible blogger...I am so sorry everyoneYou all follow me in hopes of making you laugh, making you smileI have only caused disappointment!But instead of the house... its our yacht...I have also been working 48 hour weeks, 6 days a weekPeople are very stoopid...Now I work in the food court at costcoI do not get paid less and my job is very demanding..but people treat us like the arm pit of Costco... makes me sadAnyway.. people yell at me; they get within inches of my face and tell me what they want like I can not hear themOr you have the people that stand in line for a good 5 minutes then suddenly realize there are HUGE posters of the food we have to offer right above their heads! So they stand there another 5 minutes saying Um...Um... I Need I Need...And I think to myself... no you do not NEED anything from this place... HANow that I have vented about the customers..*************************************************I bring you an update with my life!A couple of weeks ago I went snowboarding!My hubby is a fantastic teacher! He actually used to be an instructer up where we went. Those familiar with the Washington State area, we went up to Crystal mountain!We went up here for a wedding.I so look like a vampire next to tan people..While there i found somethingSO AMAZINGI had to share with youI was just a little excited.... then i immediately washed my hands and my face...*************************************************So the reason for my poll ^ (up there on the top of my blog)is because a while back before the hub bub of the Twilight series I began a short story of a Vampire girl... and I was just wondering how many of you would read it if I made a second blog devoted to it.****************************************************Also I have been very bad about posting my Project 365so I have made a separate blog just for that!!Check it out here: A Speechless Year[...]
