TARC to provide service to Churchill Downs on Oaks, Derby Days

TARC will provide service to Churchill Downs for the Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby that will detour away from the track starting about 4:30 p.m. on both days, according to a news release from TARC.

Fallen tree keeps people stuck in Louisville park for hours

A tree blocked the road leading to a parking lot at Jefferson Memorial Forest about 3 p.m. on Saturday. It also brought down a power line, which led to an even longer delay as firefighters had to wait for LG&E crews to arrive.
