Rockin' Country Church is looking for a youth couple to lead the pre-teens and teens of our church. The children's group has grown and it is time to separate age groups. We are considered a non denominational church but follow a close Baptist faith. Although we are not a Cowboy Church with an arena ministry, we are a Country church. DESCRIPTION

The objective of this position is to research grant funding opportunities and locate funding sources that complement the University Of Texas Health Science @ Tyler's' organizational needs. You will be responsible for the preparation of grant proposals for the consideration of state, national and private foundations. Duties include tracking proposals, developing project budgets and generating grant reports.
This position reports directly to the Vice President, Chief Development Officer and works closely with other key staff members.


DUTIES

• Research grant funding opportunities
• Write grant proposals and submit applications and track the status of proposals.
• Write/Edit assignments such as proposals, reports, correspondence, articles and presentations.
• Generate grant reports
• Develop budgets for grant projects
• Update existing databases, making sure that proposals in progress are in compliance with instructions, managing production and the distribution of all work documents, ensuring proposal formatting, helping with developing and implementing work solutions, presentations and gathering critical information for different personnel.


QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred: Bachelors degree in English or Journalism with three years experience.
