Flu season has arrived, and the Longest Student Health Center at Mississippi State has a few tips to help you stay well and to help prevent the spread of the flu virus. If you find yourself with flu symptoms — fever, coughing, sore throat, headache, body aches, runny nose — medical attention is helpful and medication can be prescribed to assist with the symptoms and reduce the time frame of illness.




Higher education, business formalize partnership through MOU

Understanding the crucial link between higher education and economic development, the Mississippi Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning and the Mississippi Development Authority have worked together for decades to leverage higher education assets to attract business and industry to Mississippi. The two entities formalized this partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding signed by Glenn McCullough Jr., Executive Director of the Mississippi Development Authority, Dr. Douglas W. Rouse, President of the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning and Dr. Glenn Boyce, Commissioner of Higher Education, at a Board of Trustees meeting held Thursday [Jan. 19] in Jackson.

Crocker named MSU’s emergency manager

Learning Center to offer GMAT prep workshop Feb. 4

The annual awards program is designed to recognize individuals and teams of individuals who have demonstrated a significant commitment to enhancing diversity at the university.
