Exciting new Xena in testing

Fri, 31 Mar 2006 04:14:52 -0000

We are just a few more tests away from releasing the long awaited Xena Lite. This is "Lite" in terms of a slimmed down and more intuitive interface, not light on for functions.

If you have Apache Ant, a JDK and a sense of adventure, most of the new greatness is in the anonymous CVS repository right now.

For everyone else, watch this space for a binary release in the next few days. Some of the new features:

* Great new GUI
* Full Xena API for developers
* OpenDocument format support
* New manuals for users and developers

With this release, Xena will reach maturity as a robust and industrial strength preservation tool.
