blade-ui is a dhtml widget set for XSLT and JSP presentation layers. Version 0.6.1 of the XSL devkit has just been released. Building on the new architecture of 0.6, 0.6.1 introduces improved versions of several different widgets. The new widgets - rollover, tabstrip, and pane - offer improved compatibility with text-based browsers and screen readers.
With this release, the original set of widgets should be considered relatively frozen. However, this is a preliminary release of the new widgets; they may change slightly before they are finalized.

The blade-ui project has released version 0.6 of its JSP Tag Library port. The taglib has been updated to address performance issues and to work with v0.6 of blade. This release marks a milestone for the tag library as a full-fledged html widget set for jsp pages. If you often find yourself using rollovers, content panes, drillable lists, and tabstrips in JSP intranet applications, download the example war file and try out blade today.

The blade-ui project has released version 0.6 of the xsl devkit. While little has changed from the end-user perspective, 0.6 introduces some architectural changes which will make it easier to introduce new widgets in the future. Additionally, 0.6 contains completely revamped documentation which should make it much easier to get started.

The blade-ui project has released version 0.5.2 of its JSP Tag Library port. The tag library now implements checkstrip, slider, spin, and panestrip, meaning that only socket and the dragdrop plugin remain to be implemented. A few preformance issues remain to be addressed in version 0.6.

The blade-ui project has released its first ever tag library port. Designed to be used with version 0.5.2 of blade, the taglib is currently in alpha. Most of the core components have been ported, including panes, rollovers, tabstrips, and drillable tables.
Since tags correspond almost exactly to the XSL tags, you can now create static mockups of your project in xsl and quickly move them over to JSP pages without having to deal with messy auto-generated HTML.
Since the library is purely a presentation-layer widget set, it is compatible with established application frameworks, and has already been tested on struts and tiles.
