The refresh bug hasn't been crushed yet, but I have gotten the Server to recognize it's network card (hey...small victories). With that, a friend of mine thinks he can help me get the video working properly. So, hopefully, development will begin in a week or so!

Well...naturally Linux doesn't want to work. I still marvel that people actually LIKE this operating system. This will be my third attempt to derive pleasure from using the Linux operating system, but so far no go: while it has all of the proper configuration information for my monitor, it still insists on using a refresh rate that is too low for the monitor to display. We'll soon see how much of a setback this will be...

Well...first things first. Soon I should have the development server set up at home, and shortly thereafter there should be some code.
A lot of the infrastructure of SIGIL will be based on the ACS's Course Delivery System (cds.colleges.org), as it is open source. Therefore, the basic interface should be ready to go within a week or two (assuming no problems setting up the development server).
