Someone finally emailed me about the project and we tried to test the newest code but unfortunately he was behind a firewall.
This program probably cannot be used if the clients are behind NAT. Perhaps with the proper port forwarded it will work. Also, the host or person running the program should preferably not be behind a firewall either.
I've downgraded this project to Beta because, while it probably does work in ideal situtations like a college campus, it has not been tested in a variety of situtations such as firewalls etc. And I have no one to test it with. So if you feel like downloading it and trying it out, best of luck, it might suit your purpose. And if you feel like testing it and are not behind a NAT firewall, email me.

It has come to my attention that there are other programs for playing games on a LAN like, for instance, BattleLAN and.. well some others whose names escape me. These programs have been tested, their developers have received some kind of feedback from the users. Bugs have been fixed. They're more user friendly though they don't necessarily have such a nifty mechanic as this one here. And this one here doesn't necessarily work through firewalls.
Bottomline. this program has very little utility. I haven't looked at it in so long its probably written poorly. I have yet to contribute anything to this "open source" thing. Damn. Why have 500 people downloaded this software? Do they curse my name when they find out what it is?

If you use this program, please tell me. I would like to at least know that it works okay for everyone.

Finally added gateway MAC address probe so you don't have to find and type that in. Probably much MUCH more user-friendly now. This version also has udp checksumming code in it which could not work at all but I have no way to test it. Email me if you would like to test it or have a problem.

I kind of slapped this thing together for some friends of mine but if you use it and there's a feature you'd like to see, I might add it. Email me! I just need motivation. For one thing, I'd like to make it automatically detect the hardware address of the closest router and perhaps save this in the registry. But if no one really uses this software...there's really no point in going to that trouble. Anyway, please email me if you use it.
