Release: abeesoft-fsmgenerator-1-8-1-beta-4

FSMGenerator 1.8.1 (beta 4) is released!

This release starts the life of ported verision of FSMGenerator from C/C++ to Java.

The Java version of FSMGenerator (fsmgenerator-java) will be maintained from now on and the C/C++ version (fsmgenerator-cpp) will be gradually retired.
(BTW, it's a good point to thank guys who ported fsmgenerator 1.0b6 to FreeBSD, Linux Redhat (FC3+), and other platforms. Thanx!!!).
Latest official fsmgenerator-cpp: 1.0b7
Latest official fsmgenerator-java: 1.8.1.beta.4

FSMGenerator 1.0b7 is released!

Sun, 16 Nov 2003 18:02:38 -0000

The presented FSMGenerator package was thought of and developped as far as back in August 2002.

With minor refinements we decided to release the FSMGenerator today to the general public, in a hope that it'll find its users in the Computer Scientific and Software Engineering communities.

In fact, such an open-source governed release gave a new push to the FSMGenerator development. We realized many new features that we would like to introduce into the FSMGenerator package in the next versions.

Today the FSMGenerator is a fully functional software package. And we're proud to anounce that

__ FSMGenerator 1.0 beta 7 is released! __

FSMGenerator is an application which decreases FSM (Finite State Machine) codding time to merely seconds and minutes, instead of hours and days.

With FSMGenerator one can produce source code for ANY FSM from configuration file written in a simple configuration language, into many programming languages (C, C++, Java, etc.). The generated FSM can then be compiled and interfaced with user's software. For more information see: http://fsmgenerator.sourceforge.net/.

The release is fully functional. It contains:
- all the binaries
- all the sources
- all the documentations
- examples & APIs
- help & directions
- patches

For questions and feedbacks, please, contact us at Sourceforge central for the FSMGenerator project: https://sourceforge.net/projects/fsmgenerator/.

In fact, such an open-source governed release gave a new push to the FSMGenerator development. We realized many new features that we would like to introduce into the FSMGenerator package in the next versions.

Today the FSMGenerator is already a fully functional software package. And we're proud to anounce that

The release contains 'fsmgenerator' binary for Windows and the 'test.fsm' file, demonstrating the configuration language for finite state machines.

Good luck.
