ArtCat is a Content Management System aimed for users wanting a CMS for storing articles and news. This release, CVS 20030918, fixes some important bugs and implements a new text formatting engine(from asciidoc) so there is no need for HTML tags anymore.
There is also a help system being written and it is included in this CVS release, although it is not yet complete, it should hopefully answer most of the users questions.
There is still no support for embedded images though, but I aim to have that ready for the next release, which should roughly be in a month. I have a general idea for how do implement it in a good way, but I need some input. Should images be stored in separate files or directly in a database? I really can't make up my mind.

ArtCat has matured since the last version, and the upcoming version features text formatting (from asciidoc) and help docs for the users accessible from the browser.
It will be release on Sourceforge shortly, so please have patience!
